I have never experienced such poor customer service multiple times both in opening accounts, as well as questions regarding replacing card to auto loan. I tried to open a simple checking account and had to go through the 3rd degree. I did not want anything special. They don't need to run a credit report to open up an account. They insisted on running a credit report and I told them my credit was fine and I don't need any special account just the very basic checking or saving! I left without opening an account! read more

This is the worst excuse for a bank I have ever experienced. I will never use them again or will I ever refer any more people to them. Don't deposit checks cause you can't have access to your funds till they decide you can. And then instead of trying to help they hang up on you. read more

I cannot for the life of me understand how this credit union has managed to stay in business. Since they recently moved into the Toledo market, and since I was looking for a credit union to join, I joined. Poor customer service, rude staff both at the branches as well as in the corporate office in Lima. There is a chat feature on the app -- and the customer service representative who responds in the chat is extremely rude -- NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS BEFORE - USUALLY CHAT REPRESENTATIVES ARE POLITE. Whenever I have gone into the few branches in the Toledo area, the staff/tellers never look happy...just a bad impression all around. I agree with Michael, Nick, and the guy whose review is hidden; Tina must be an employee. This place is a total time-waster. I owe four insurance bills that I've set up to be automatically withdrawn from my checking account with SCU, and received cancellation notices yesterday; when I got through to my insurance Customer Service, I was told that, according to SCU, I had placed a block on these payments. I never had. When I dialed the number for SCU that I've always used, I reached the voice mailbox of someone I've never heard of, not the operator. What should have been a simple automatic payment has taken a lengthy period out of my day, and I still have to reach this "Credit Union" and call back my insurance company. I may not be continuing to spend this much time with this place. read more

This company can barely get being a credit union right yet they want to try and do mortgages and insurance as well? The mortgage I completed with them was so messed up on their end. They seem to know 10% about everything thing instead of 100% about one thing and helping out in their community. I can't wait for them to crumble, trying to dip into everything. read more
