Expensive, expensive, expensive...a place where after you eat and get ready to pay you are greated by the host or sometimes the owner himself asking if you would like to leave a tip on your card and this is after charging 3 percent for using a credit card machine... home of the $15 breakfast and if you are including a tip more like $20... Needless to say im glad i dont go anymore. Discoveted $9.83 breakfast spot 5 min away Colonial diner fords

Atmosphere: The Superior Diner is an older, cobblestone building. It's not a big, shiny, metallic building, but it stands out along the road. The inside of the Superior Diner has plenty of booths, tables, and a full-length bar. Coffee: The Superior Diner coffee was brewed hot and fresh and the waitress refilled it often. Good coffee, no complaints. Food: The menu is huge and there are plenty of breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials. In fact, the Superior Diner menu has the most specials of any diner I've been to in a while. I didn't know what I wanted but then saw the pork chop special and ultimately decided that's what I wanted. I've ordered diner specials a lot lately because they are cheaper and with more food! Anyway, the pork chop special came with soup, salad, and the meal. For my soup, I chose the lima bean soup. It was a red base with a little kick to it. I've never had lima bean soup and it was great. The salad was typical of a diner salad with nothing unique or unusual about it. The pork chops were delicious and were cooked well.  They weren't overcooked and were tender and juicy -- one of the better diner pork chops I've had recently. For my sides, I chose beets and they were good as well. Nothing unique or unusual, but they tasted good. Service: Our waitress at the Superior Diner was friendly and our food came out fast. She was one of the better waitresses I've had recently. There was another waitress who was holding loud conversations and it made it hard to hear anything. At one point, she was yelling something about her cats. Cost: For my pork chop special and coffee, the cost was $20. Would I Come Back? I liked the Superior Diner and it's a stereotypical New Jersey Diner. It's a great stop if you're heading down the shore and I would go back.

    Very organized and fast service!!

From the moment you walk in Virginia/Ginnie with a huge smile whose the host and waitress is super attentive. Everything was super fresh from the juice to the grits and eggs. Really amazing gem. Will definitely come it back

What a great little diner! We were passing by and just decided to pop in. The service was wonderful, and the breakfast dishes were all solid and well done. Great pancakes, coffee was excellent. Not a very large diner, so I imagine there can be a wait and peak times, but we'll definitely return!

This diner is great and I'm almost certain that you will have a good experience. I usually sit and enjoy my food but this time I ordered breakfast to go. They packed the food neatly and it was ready fast! I would recommend this diner to anyone. I never had lunch or dinner here , only breakfast .

Just had breakfast. The food was good and the service was very good. Luv a diner that knows what over medium eggs means. I will be back.

First let me say that I've been a repeat customer for many years ordering pizza to go. So I called…read morefor two pies one sausage, one 1/2 with light sauce and the other half with sausage. They said 20 - 25 minutes until it would be ready which usually takes me that long to get there. So once I arrive they make you pay for the pizzas and said they will check to see if it was done. Three girls were there two giving take out orders and one hostess. They all repeatedly kept going in the back and coming out saying "A few more minutes" After 20 minutes I asked for a refund and said I didn't want the pies. Apparently if you complain they have to get the manager. Well the manager comes over and said he's going to check the back once again to see how much longer. He walks out about 2 minutes later with the pies. He then said "Oh sorry they forgot to put the order in" Which none of the girls informed me of the entire time I was there. Honestly I was mad because I've been a customer for years and that's how they treat their valued customers?? Not good! When I get home I opened up my pies and the 1/2 with light sauce and the other half with sausage was correct. But the second pie was all MUSHROOMS, not sausage like I ordered. Honestly I think the way they handled it was BAD! Shows they DO NOT VALUE their repeat customers and have TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The manager kept saying "It was a mistake they forgot to put in the order!" Well next time I'll forget their phone number and ORDER ELSEWHERE where they value their customers!!!

Came here on a Saturday night and got a seat at the hightops, no reservation needed. We started off…read morewith the artichoke poppers (similar to a jalapeño popper) which was delicious (mild flavor, not spicy at all). We then split a small garlic pie! The key is that the sauce is sweet, which makes it unique from other Italian spots. You're either going to enjoy it, or you may prefer a more traditional approach. A small pie has about 6 slices which makes it great to share. Staff was friendly and helped us narrow down our final order! Would definetely come again and try another pie

Visually stunning from the outside, with a lot of real estate. The decor on the inside is beautiful. This place can cater to parties and also operate to restaurant customers simultaneously. Owner was super friendly and accommodating. Service staff was on point and provided excellent attention and service. Food was good. My wife ordered the salmon with asparagus and pasta on the side. My son devoured his spaghetti marinara. I ordered the futtuccine, with crab meat. DELICIOUS. Lumps of crab meat with creamy butter sauce was sublime. Other orders made were veal chops, pomodoro pasta, risotto with langoustine. Fried calamari, baked clams were also a winner. Only negative take js my brother n law thought the portion for the risotto dish could have been bigger. He also felt the orange flavor on the saffron risotto was a bit overpowering. Asides from that everything was top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant. Hopefully we can go back sometime in the future. It's a bit of a commute but for the experience and memorable time had, it was worth it. Try Angelina's. I doubt you will be disappointed.
