My family and I (party of 13) had brunch to celebrate my son's 18th birthday here. They don't accept reservations but, they were able to accommodate us. It was about 1 1/2 hr wait since they needed to bring tables together. Suggest you get there early to be accommodated when having a large group. This place used to be one of my favorite. They changed the home fries and they're horrible. They're just burnt sliced potatoes with no flavor as opposed to the flavorful breakfast potatoes they had before with the onions and peppers. They also changed how they make the French fries and they tastes like they're old. When it was finally our turn, the staff seated another group who arrived after us. No explanation, no apology, and no effort to make it right. I rarely stay on the South Shore of Staten Island for more than 20 minutes, but I pass this spot all the time and always thought, "That place looks so cute." I finally gave this breakfast location a try and was instantly overwhelmed in the best way by the menu. So many delicious choices! The place itself is adorable. SERVICE BASED REVIEW ONLY: I don't usually leave reviews, but the service at Fina's Farmhouse today was so unacceptable that it absolutely needs to be shared. We chose this place because their Yelp page says dogs are allowed -- no mention of service animals only. There's also no sign at their entrance saying otherwise. So we drove all the way here expecting a dog-friendly experience. Instead, as soon as we walked in, we were asked for a service dog ID card -- which is illegal under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). I politely told the waitress that it's illegal to ask for a service dog ID, and explained it for her awareness for the future. She just said "OK" and walked away. No apology, no attempt to fix it -- nothing. They then told us we could either order takeout or eat outside -- despite it being 40 degrees today. Even worse, when I checked, their Yelp page shows it was last updated in April 2025 -- the same month we're currently in. So they are actively maintaining their page and still misleading customers about being dog-friendly. That's unacceptable and shows a serious lack of professionalism and responsibility. If Fina's Farmhouse doesn't allow dogs inside, they need to update their Yelp page immediately and post clear signage at the door. Otherwise, it's completely misleading and unfair to customers -- not to mention illegal to mishandle service animal situations the way they did. We're still ordering takeout because we drove all this way, but honestly, I would absolutely not recommend Fina's Farmhouse based on this experience. First impressions matter -- and this one was absolutely awful. ------ 4- Star Review for the Food at Fina's Farmhouse (Separate from Service Experience): I want to make it very clear that this review is for the food only, and for the chefs/kitchen team -- NOT the front of house service. The food we received for takeout looked amazing and came in generous portions. You can tell the kitchen puts real effort and care into their work. It's honestly such a shame that because of the front staff's unprofessionalism, we had to eat in our car instead of enjoying the food inside. The chefs deserve a much better first impression for customers than what the wait staff provides. While the front service was completely disappointing (see my separate one-star review for that), the chefs and food quality deserve to be recognized separately and positively. I ordered the Breakfast Nachos-- AMAZING. My boyfriend ordered blueberry pancakes, which in my opinion were dry and could only be eaten with the maple syrup. Only note: they forgot to include utensils with our takeout, which was frustrating, but still not enough to take away from the great work the kitchen did. There are so many things I would like to say about how wonderful Finas Farm House is. The food is just amazing. I had Eggs Benedict with the freshest ham, poached eggs were perfect. They give you a large English Muffin and home made potatoes so fresh and the portions are huge. They also give you a large arugula salad on the side. My husband had a Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich which came on an everything roll that was beautiful. The place is adorable and the staff was very nice to us. They also give you a big cup of coffee which was very nice. We had a wonderful experience we are definitely going back next time for lunch I can't wait to try their burgers. Based on my personal preference, experience and opinion. The one star came off due to the lack of parking in the neighborhood and how other customers were not courteous with the way they parked in the small lot the restaurant has. Nothing to do with their food or service. The service is was outstanding. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable made great suggestions and got our vibe- I believe her name was Jocelyn. This spot is loud. So much so that I opted to sit outside. I was seated quickly but it took a long time for anyone to come check on me or take my order. I ordered an iced coffee (which was delicious) the waitress didn't bring out any napkins until i got up and asked for them. I also ordered the steak Sammy which was mediocre. The steak was cooked well had very little seasoning and onions. Bread was crispy but the ratio was off. The waitress didn't seem to know the menu well more did she ask me how I wanted my steak cooked. She was uninterested at best. Unfortunately I found a bone in my sandwich. Our waitress And all other staff were very attentive and provided great service!!! Always asking if we need refills, napkins, etc. I love the decor in Fina's it gives a very "homey" and farmhouse type of feel. I absolutely loved it. My only complaint is that it's very expensive. My meal the Belgian waffle BEC was $21.99, but at project brunch it is $16. I'm not sure why there is a huge difference in price for the same meal. What a pleasant "discovery" of a nice brunch place. After a "grueling" hike through Clay Pit Ponds State Park I took a short drive to Finas Farm House. It is less farmhouse but still nicely appointed. Our group was seated right away and I started with the Dirty Chai, it was delish. I also split the turkey breakfast sammy and an order of the sweet potato tots. The tots were the star. Service was prompt and someone checked in with us every so often. I am keeping this place in my brunch rotation esp. as a post Clay Pit hike sustenance. read more

This place is good but not great. Breakfast cost me $30 with tip which I think is pricy. It was two eggs, potatoes, a biscuit, and sausage with a latte. The sweet potato tater tots had an oily taste and the biscuit was not flaky. Staff never came to table to ask if everything was ok until we were ready to pay bill- and even then We waited a good 20 min before being approached. When we explained the situation she was very apologetic and spoke with Mgr who deducted some $ off of bill. Much appreciated. While I really wanted to like this place, it falls very short. We were greeted immediately by the hostess and taken to our table and given menus . Our drink orders were taken quickly and brought to the table. The waitress took our orders and was very attentive. Food was served quickly and was all hot and fresh. The place is a smaller style place but definitely, has a well decorated atmosphere Fina's as nice coffee bar with a wonderful barista who was knowledgeable and made our orders . The only thing to note is the up charges on the menu and not being informed by the waitress. My husband meal came with toast he asked what type the waitress gave options but failed to inform him that if ordering other than white bread they have an up charge. The order came he received a half of a slice of bread cut in half with an up charge on the bill. Would not make a difference in ordering but it is definitely a nice to be told about an upgrade . Definitely worth giving this place a try . Remember they are a breakfast and lunch spot . And ample parking in the lot by the train station if you don't mind walking a little bit . read more

I was surprised that the reviews are not super positive for this place. I think the menu is extremely original and although the theme seems like it will be corny they execute it to perfection. The service is not perfect but I have not had any major issues. The coffee is also very delicious and I think as far as meals go they do their whole menu very well. read more

Very disappointed!! I don't usually write reviews about restaurants, but couple of things have been bothering me about. The food tasted fine, but that's where the positives end. They prepare food with Tallow/ beef fat, which I did not notice on the menu until after I ordered. My husband showed it to me. Also, all the plates, water glasses ,and coffee mugs were served in some form of plastic, not real china. I would expect ceramic at the minimum. This is a huge turnoff for anyone who cares about health or the environment. Plastic potential BPA exposure, and plastic like serving plates and cups have no place in a restaurant. Service was below average. My server forgot to bring the home fries and hot chocolate for my son. The overall experience felt CHEAP and far from enjoyable. Between preparing food with Tallow/ beef fat and serving non -China/ plastic like dish wares , my family was completely turned off by them. We most likely will not be returning to this restaurant, unless all of the above issue is appropriately adjusted. Therefore, it only deserves one star. read more

The chicken was tasty on the outside but bland on the inside. It was almost like they didn't season the chicken and just put seasoned breading on it. The waffles were bland and the texture was dusty. You try to cut the waffle apart and it turns into a sand like consistency making it inedible. My father ordered pancakes that were the same as the waffles in taste and texture. Had brunch with work on a Friday morning and it was surprisingly packed. Beware that there are not a lot of parking and street parking was a bit scarce. They messed up our reseverstions and it took a bit for them to accommodate our large group. The server who helped our table did a great job! I got the Irish omlette and a peach iced tea. My peach iced tea was just green tea with peach syrup. I was hoping my Irish omelette wasn't going to be some canned corn beef hash. I was pleased to see that it wasn't. Good portions, really great sounding breakfast specials. Finas favorite had toast, avocado, arugula, and eggs. And I had the Benedict which was pretty dam good.
