A little gem for Thai food in Devon!…read more Found this little place during our cancelation of floating at the Devon Voyageur Park. Our choice was fish and chips or Thai foods. I'm usually little bit skeptical when Asian restaurants mix their foods with western foods. I was a bit worried it's not gonna be too authentic. We took a chance to try since we love many different curries. Ordered Phanaeng (Panang) with Shrimp with level 10 spiciness and Tom Kha (Coconut Curry Soup) with Shrimp. At first, I was given a regular hot sauce that to me not spicy. So I requested for changing ground chilies that they added for their regular foods to enhance spice level. Surely freshly ground Thai chilli peppers were handed to me. Although, price is a bit higher compare to many Thai restaurants in Edmonton. We should think it's located in Devon not Edmonton so the food ingredients cost can be a bit higher. Overall, we were happy to have a late lunch that is matched our expectation. Glad that Devon has a little gem Thai food around!

We were pleasantly surprised as the haddock was tender and flaky, and the batter was crispy and flavorful. The thick cut fries were definitely a wonderful pairing. Lots of lemon wedges and tartar sauce were provided as well as different types of vinegar, including my favourite malt vinegar. Service was great, as soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and asked if it was our first time there. Special attention was given, even though it was extremely busy. This place was bustling as we went on a Saturday around 6:30 PM and had to wait for a table. People seemed happy and the fish and chips just kept flying out the kitchen. The atmosphere was interesting to look at while waiting for your food.
