The section with the holiday specials looked like a Ross on opening day, with most of the merchandise on the ground. Maybe it's because I went during the holidays, but it was a little miserable visiting this location. They had holiday stuff that you'd find at a Ross or a dollar store, but not the cool weird items you could find on a weekday when everything is replenished. Too bad, but maybe comin during the day when it's well stocked makes for a better experience.

They sell at Erewhon for $6 a pop and they were at the Grocery Outlet for----NINETY NINE CENTS. Oh my gosh, I'm sad I already bought some for my friends at full price! WTF. This store is amazing, I was able to get adorable, fancy food items to put together cute baskets for my friends as presents. Before going, I downloaded the app and was shocked to see all on sale. Amazing deals for sure on items I actually buy and also a lot of cool and weird promo items. Cinnamon Toast Flavored bacon~?!?!?! Like wtf? I want to try it. Many items are very high quality, name brand stuff - just be sure to check expirations on food items. This location has a huge parking lot and is around a ton of other stuff in Inglewood, so it's convenient. It's also very organized (except for the clearance section but that's to be expected) and clean. Bring your own bags or pay 15 cents a pop for them. They have everything here from liquor & produce to tons of other food items to even having flowers and clothes plus random toys & home goods. So with a nice amount of calcium, and low carbs, I'm going to give these Icelandic bad boys a shot. The CSA of this experience was a classy cat named Jeremy-pictured. Although the purchase in and of itself was relatively simple, he saved me from what would have been a borderline embarrassing moment that's happened before. That's when you turn down a bag, and the product falls outside of or inside the basket and the leaks and everything else starts up-and milk, jello, or yogurt seems to be the leading culprits for this kind of pending accident. It was a small gesture, but a memorable one, particularly given the pressure of the crowd behind me. Thanks Jeremy! Your a credit to the Trader Joe's brand!

The produce manager RICARDO was fantastic. He gave me samples of some new produce they had and introduced me to watermelon plums -- I think it's a new variation? Whatever it was, they were fantastic and I never would've tried them by myself so I was so glad Ricardo introduced me to them. I immediately bought a pack because they were so good. Long story short everything I wanted from this experience I got. I really love fruits and vegetables so having a manager help with that process and introduce me to new types of produce was great and honestly a nice touch-- it reminded me of a local market feel as opposed to a superstore chain. I'll definitely be back for my produce every week!

Yesterday, upon arriving at the store and parking, I found a dead rat lying on the ground only a…read morefew feet from the entrance, immediately outside my car door. The animal was clearly visible in a public area that customers must pass through to enter the store. I immediately went inside to report the matter to management so it could be addressed promptly for the safety and hygiene of customers and the reputation of the store. A store associate relayed the report to the manager. While I was standing outside the management office, I both saw and heard the staff laughing after the associate informed them of the dead rat. The manager then instructed the associate to tell me that he was "in a meeting" and unavailable. No one came out to inspect the situation, remove the rodent, or acknowledge the seriousness of the report in my presence. The presence of a dead rat so close to the entrance of a grocery store is unacceptable and raises legitimate concerns about pest control, sanitation practices, and the overall cleanliness standards at this location. As a customer, I do not consider this a ringing endorsement of the establishment's commitment to food safety or public health. Since the store's management has no interest in the matter, I'm quite certain that the Health Department will.
