If you are into spirits and different types of alcohol, this place has everything you need. But I came in looking for a specific water I had not been able to find anywhere else, and they had it. Asked one of the guys where to find it and he walked me right to it, no hesitation. The setup inside is very well done. Everything is organized and easy to navigate. It was not too busy when I went in, which made the experience even better. I am also thinking about coming back to pick up some individual cans of flavored water. This used to be a great BevMo location with knowledgeable, friendly employees and a great selection. It's plummeted so far down hill it's inevitable that the store will close. A few of the many problems: 1) They have NO carts or baskets. You can only buy what you can carry. I asked where I could get one and they looked at me like I was from outer space. Like getting a basket or cart at a store was an idiotic request. They say this is to limit theft. Never in my life have I been to a store like this with no way to carry the goods. I used to come here once every six weeks or so and stock up. Now I can only buy two items because I can't carry more. It's the stupidest policy I've ever seen in a store. Sales prevention. 2) The place is massively understaffed and undertrained. No matter how few customers the place has, there's always a wait. There's either one person at the register that frequently walks away, or two people, one of which doesn't know how to work the register. Last time I went there were three staff members trying to figure out how to apply a $5 discount for 10 minutes while 15 people waited in line. 3) They used to have nice people that really knew the selection. You'd go in back and they'd frequently have tastings going with beer, wine and cheese. The people now are rude. No one smiles. No one is friendly. They feel actively hostile towards each other and their customers. Total Wine and More is opening down the street. If they even halfway have their act together, I expect this location to be closed by January and deservedly so. read more

I went to this Bevmo store st 5634 Sepulveda in Culver City. I went to purchace two items: Bonterra wine at $14.99 and Gran Marnier liqueur 750 ml. with shelf price at $39.99. When I went to the counter and gave my membership phone number, the cashier rang the Gran Marnier up at $41.99. I patiently told the cashier the displayed shelf price was $39.99. The cashier then told me "It's the tax" as if I'm stupid. The taxes show up at the end of the receipt. The wine rang up at the correct price of $14.99. Why not the Gran Marnier? I then walked this cashier over to the shelf and showed him the tag displaying $39.99. This cashier grabs the price tag, looks at it and still tries to gaslight me about "taxes." I'm a senior, but not stupid. I walked out and cancelled the sale. Repeated phone calls to the manager of this store went unanswered. I wonder how many times this store gets away with overcharging unsuspecting customers? I will never come back to this ripiff store again! By the way, they did me a favor. I left there and went across the street to Total Wine and More and got my same Gran Marnier, same 750 ml. for $28.99. Thanks, Bevmo, for showing me your store tries to rip people off! I would not advice any black customers to go to this location because the manger by the name of Nick Jimenez is perfectly fine with his cashier Clarissa being disrespectful to black customers. I guess corporate thought it would be a good idea to reconfigure all of their stores by sacrificing their selection of alcoholic beverages-- you know, what their main product is, so they could add rows and rows of junk food instead. The wine section is now what greets you as you step inside. It seems a bit more crowded with the new layout but the selections have increased and the sales are front and center. Bev Mo still has all of your favorite beer and spirits as well as all of your adult beverage accessories and mixers. The service is friendly and the place is easy to access. TIPS: 1. Always check out deals on your favorite spirits. I've came to this Bev Mo a hand full of times for weekend drinks and the African American lady that works the front desk is rude as hell every time we come in. My boyfriend and I spend a decent amount of money every time we come in and I always walk out disappointed in the costumer service. Tonight we came in to purchase a $250 bottle of tequila and the same lady working EVERY-TIME had the nerve to roll her eyes WITH a attitude because we wanted to put our bottle into a PURCHASED gift bag for our friend. If you order or are considering using GoPuff, please read this: This BevMo location is the LAX 'warehouse' for GoPuff. I have never liked BevMo, but ordered from GoPuff for a while before I was apprised of the arrangement between GoPuff and BevMo. If you want: expired food and beverages, to have items removed from your order and not be notified or offered replacements, to be given incorrect items, or have items damaged or destroyed in transit, then patronize GoPuff. They also have 'driver partners,' as they call them, who are contracted through a third-party service. After lodging a complaint with GP's 800# as well as contacting BevMo to inform them of a volatile driver who, for some unknown reason, was treating me like he and I are familiar, my account was deactivated and my Fam membership for GP was cancelled. No one spoke to me about it prior to doing so even though I had a conversation with a BevMo employee about said driver, who he claimed was being 'terminated' as a result of his unprofessional conduct. Being in a nice neighborhood and wanting to maintain the integrity of the area, I have ZERO tolerance for unprofessional, disrespectful people and refuse deliveries in kind. I tip every driver that comes to my door - in cash. I grant grace for certain mistakes, but when I receive food in mid-October 2022 that expired in June and July 2022, we have a problem. When I receive day old or days old beverages, we have a problem. There are food insufficient people everywhere, so wasting food is a huge sin. But I am also not going to poison myself or my loved ones by eating or drinking expired goods. GoPuff also laid off or terminated the majority of their domestic workforce and outsourced their call center to the Philippines. While the reps can be very nice, they cannot resolve issues like the domestic reps used to, so please take that into advisement. BevMo is not properly equipped to handle GoPuff orders. They are always out-of-stock when it comes to essential items (for weeks at a time), so if you pay for a Fam Membership, be advised that you may not be able to use it as liberally as you'd like, since you can't buy what they don't sell. I failed to mention that I did not allow the volatile driver access to my residence. I sent him back with what I ordered and I was promptly refunded without seeking recompense. I have a sneaking suspicion he may have retained my order as it contained an adult libation. I never laid eyes on the driver, nor the order, but I informed BevMo their order was being returned to them because I refused the problematic driver access to the premises. Hope this helps. I managed to get four bottles of nice white wine for about $20! But they have everything you could need from international to cases to the expensives. Anyways I walked in and wasn't greeted, I walked around looking for a specific whiskey and no one asked for assistance.
