I did my own walk around and found three windows that did not lock. I don't expect unseen issues to be reported and I also appreciated the fast report same day even when the owner was busy . I like that you can order extra services such as wind mit and 4 point after instead of at the beginning. That was helpful in pricing as well. Oh and Supra access is also greatly appreciated! We were second guessing the house we are purchasing. As always when buying a house things "come up"...... Kevin was very thorough, took HUNDREDS of photos and put our minds at ease of knowing what we are getting ourselves into. We were out of town for my birthday while this was going on and I didn't have access to internet on and off. We needed 2 other reports (which he had already done) but there is an extra charge for those. Everything was done within 48 hours. We paid $410 for regular inspection and $75 for wind mitigation and four point inspection. I wish I didn't have to pay the $75 since that report was already done, but we needed it quick and it was done quick!

A week ago we had Insight again to do inspections for insurance purpose. It was July 4 week and Dan managed to come the day before and gave us the report within 2 days. He was responsive. His sense of responsibility was appreciated and recommended.

He stated on the inspection report our HVAC system as a 2023 system like also listed on the MLS listing. We bought the house April 2024. A few weeks ago our outside unit failed. The AC company which came out to fix it found out that the outside unit is a 2016 and not as stated from Quigley as a 2023! The air handler is a 2023! Fact is we have to deal now with a failing outside compressor already which shouldn't be if Phil Tori from Quigley would have taken his duties seriously. But it looks like he only relied on the MLS listing instead of checking the label on the outside compressor. Instead of having a peace of mind for 10-12 years we have to deal with installing a new one already. Our house is 2200 SF and it needs a 5-ton-outside unit, which costs around 6-7k. Our real estate agent contacted them and told us, that the owner Tarin Quigley will call us which she never did. Though I called them. Wow what an experience. They get loud, don't let you speak out, cut you off when you want to say something and blame you to treat them badly! Tried to come up with excuses that it is already over a year since the four-point home inspection and therefore not under warranty anymore! Fact is, that Phil Tori neglected his duties as a home inspector and that the home inspection report is false! We signed something back then, which wasn't true and overlooked from Quigley Inspection Services. We wanted to get them to be responsible for that and the costs which we will face now. The only thing Tarin Quigley came up with was a refund of $650, the fee we paid for the inspection. Because she never let me speak out over the phone and always cut me off during the phone call I agreed then to the refund. The same day she sent me a release form first which we have to sign first to get a refund. This release form forbids us to make any bad reviews on any platform and more! I even don't know if that is legal? Now I know why their reviews are so good! My husband and I ditched the refund to be able to come here and to make an honest review, to warn other people. Don't go with Quigley Inspection Services. They are rude, unprofessional and they don't take responsibility! No even better Tarin Quigley wrote it was no wrong-doing!

Jared Hyers is a scam! I don't know about others but Jared couldn't even tell me where my AC filter…read morewas located. He said it was on the roof and after I open that hatch he mention there was nothing there, just an outlet. I remember he closing a door in my face to "privately" talk with my realtor without me hearing when he was doing the inspection, which was when I started to double think my choice of inspection company and inspector. Not to mention Mold, apparently he tested my house for mold and it took less than 2 days to get a report that nobody could understand with a comment from him: "Everything is fine, no mold in that house". Overall I paid over $1000 for the worst inspection ever, on a house almost 2000 sq ft he took less than 2 hours to do everything, I think the overall result was subpar and it is a shame I can't get my money back or something, do not choose Jared Hyers, he will scam you! UPDATE: We are only three weeks into the new house and today we had our AC biweekly maintenance and in the picture below you can see all the bacteria there is in my HVAC. Remember, we paid over $1000 including Mold Inspection and this Jared Hyers wasn't able to find all this bacteria that would require only to take off 4 screws in the HVAC! Unbelievable!!! They work in Pinellas County three days a week, and Hillsborough County two days a week, so I was lucky it was their Hillsborough day. Cost of the inspection was $125, which seemed to be about average. Carmen came out, was super friendly, and my inspection was quick and painless. He forgot to slide the cover back on to my attic entrance, so it was kind of a comedy of errors with me trying to do it later with no ladder, but eventually I managed. He took a ton of pictures, submitted them to Julie in the office, and I had my official passing Report with accompanying photographs all to me that same evening! You can't beat that kind of service. I would definitely use them again if needed.
