I had a wonderful experience at Bridal Accents Couture! Michelle was so great from the moment we walked in the door! The store is stunning, clean and neatly organized. They also do not have a ton of appointments at once, so the salon never felt crowded and never felt rushed. It was great that all of the dresses they carry are on the floor and available for you to look through, but Michelle was also great at listening to my interests and pulled a great selection of gowns to try on. The dressing rooms were also HUGE. It was nice to be able to be in the room and not feel like you were being suffocated by all of the dresses. Michelle also gave me as much privacy as I wanted and offered to only help me in and out of dresses as needed. Other dress shops give you little to no privacy at all. This place is high-end. There dresses ranges from 2-8K as they say. Most of the dresses I did look at were well over 2/3k. My stylist did find the dress I most loved. Although she listened to me and found that dress, she wasn't very engaging nor helpful when I presented the dress to my guests. She stood by the back while my two sisters helped fix the train on me, and helped clinched areas that would help make it fitting on me. Otherwise when it came down to trying other dresses and introducing designers and other styles, she knew what we was providing for me. I'm just disappointed that my guests helped fix the look for me more than the stylist. read more

I had a great experience here. They let me bring more people to the appointment because I'm out of town and had a lot of people in town that wanted to come. My consultant was wonderful and really figured out my style from the get go. I probably tried on 20 dresses and was never rushed to move onto the next. Atmosphere was high end. They also really make sure your experience (from the second you walk in) is one to remember. We were quickly greeted by our consultant who was more than accommodating. We had a lot of fun! The only "real" downfall for us was that we had a few girls that were bigger than a size 12 and felt out of place not being able to try on any dresses. When they say that ever bride deserves a couture experience, they really do mean it! I found THE dress and was so happy that I could give my business to them. From my very first point of contact via email 4 months ago (yes, this has been a long search) they have been extremely prompt and helpful in their communications. It takes a lot to get me to journey outside the 494/694 loop, but this was totally worth it. The shop is beautiful, managing to be sophisticated but not stuffy. The soft lighting, plush carpet, and large comfortable dressing rooms made me feel at home. Once I tried the dress on I knew it was the ONE. I know they sell some pretty pricey gowns (5k+), but mine came in at under 1K. The quality of the dress construction and luxury fabric for the price still amazes me. Without batting an eyelash they even allowed me to bring in a sample gown (purchased from a different store) to try different belts on with it, just to make sure that I really wanted to go with a new dress. My sales consultant Jill was patient, never pushy, and genuinely seemed to care that I made a decision that I could feel good about. read more

Amazing experience from start to finish. I wish I would have known about this place years ago, because I would have encouraged every girl that I know to shop there. I currently live in NY, and it was important to me to share the dress shopping with my mom, sisters and MOH, so thankfully my girlfriends back home helped me research locations and chart the itinerary. When I made the appointment, I had poor reception and there was an overwhelming amount of traffic noise in the background. Even though the call quality was terrible, and eventually dropped, Michelle was polite and patient throughout the call. (I would have hung up on me!) A couple weeks passed by and it was brought to my attention that I booked all my appointments for the wrong week. Upon realizing the mistake, I called back and Michelle was able to fit me in at the exact same time for the correct week. Again, no hassles and no sign of agitation associated with making the change. She was super kind, understanding and professional on the phone. One should expect this level of service at an upscale shop and she delivered. It was really refreshing to feel like my business is valued. From the moment I arrived, I felt like a VIP. My appointment was on a Tuesday morning in early August, so we were lucky enough to have the entire shop to ourselves. I loved that there was a manageable number of dresses on display, unlike the factory places where shoppers are overwhelmed by hundreds. The dresses are on the hangers and you are free to look and touch them before trying them on. Some places cram the dresses into plastic garment bags, where you cannot see the details or the quality of the fabric and then you have an unpleasant surprise in the dressing room, when you realize that you just tried on one of grandma's scratchy curtains. Michelle made sure that my whole party felt welcome and she encouraged them to explore and make selections. Again, this should be a given, but this was not the case at all my appointments. We were treated to white slippers and complementary bottles of water while scanning the racks. The dresses are organized by price point, so it's easy to shop within a price zone (the bulk that I tried were between $2-4k, but there are higher and lower options). The shop is expertly curated and carries beautiful, quality dresses at a great price point. After visiting other places, I knew that I was getting the best quality for my money at Bridal Accents Couture. I showed Michelle my Pinterest board and she pulled some dresses. I highly recommend trying her selections too. She is a pro! Michelle took the time to help me in and out of every dress and expertly clamp the dresses so that they had the desired fit. I felt like a million bucks in every dress that I tried on. She worked her magic and I swear I looked like a size two (down from an 8) in some of them. Heck, I would have spent money on that experience alone! I probably tried on 7 or 8 dresses in my appointment and favored a $2k tulle Waters gown. Knowing that I had more appointments, I left without purchasing anything. I ended up sleeping on it and calling the shop back for a last minute appointment the next day. She was very accommodating and I ended up purchasing the gown. She even offered me a celebratory glass of champagne (since I was alone, she sent me home with a bottle to celebrate with my mom and sisters). I couldn't have asked for a better way to complete the purchase. I even received a thank you card in the mail when I returned back to NYC. Kesha was so sweet and indulged my desire to try on some styles that I was not interested in (huge ball gown) just for fun. This place is high-end & upscale with quality dresses and sits right in the heart of Burnsville. The store is crispy clean and brightly fresh with dresses neatly lined-up along the walls. I want to say it's probably better than Kleinfeld (if you've seen the show) since it's that upscale look but with less crowd and chaos. Not that b/c it's smaller than Kleinfeld but that they don't overbook the place, and my appointment was on Saturday. The dressing room is large with robes, bench, water bottles and what impress me most, hair ties. The dresses are likely in the $3-5k zones, some around $2k, and few around $1k. The veil I overheard is around $250-350 for basic. There's a wide selection with completely different styles to suit every bride. My consultant, Michelle, owner was wonderful in terms of being supportive. She didn't overstep her boundary since I probably seem to know what I wanted and eliminated more than 2/3 of the options off the bat. I had a few dresses in mind and when I asked her opinion for a 'timeless' dress she showed me, surprisingly the cheapest. In fact, it was in the $1k range! I really do appreciate this b/c she seem to genuinely care about the bride's needs and not just in it for making money. I had a wonderful experience at Bridal Accents Couture. We arrived and were promptly greeted by Michelle. She brought us mimosas, learned about what I was looking for, and helped me select several dresses to try on. Michelle was incredibly helpful in walking me through their collection, letting me know what styles might best fit within my budget, and providing suggestions regarding styles I might like. At the same time, she was never pushy and encouraged me to look through all of the dresses myself - something that was not the case at the other bridal salons we visited. The dresses were well-curated and organized by price point and designer. I never felt overwhelmed. Michelle was a pro at helping me try on the dresses - she gave me my space to get the dress on and then expertly helped button and pin things into place. She was respectful and only offered to help me in and out of the dress when I asked for her help - again, not the case at other salons where I wasn't given the option of changing in private. Also, if the dress didn't pin fully closed, Michelle pinned extra fabric into the gap so I didn't have to walk in front of the store exposed. The dressing rooms were spacious and well-stocked with bottled water, hair ties, and other essentials. Bridal Accents Couture also had an amazing, expertly curated selection of belts and other accessories to choose from. Again, Michelle was so helpful in listening to what I was looking for and bringing me belts that matched my descriptions and was never pushy. The environment was upscale, welcoming, and relaxed. Although there were other customers while I was there on a busy Saturday, I never felt rushed and was encouraged to take my time. There was no stress or pressure to buy, unlike other salons I visited. Although I ultimately ended up loving and purchasing a dress exclusive to a different salon, I would have loved to give my business to Bridal Accents Couture. Michelle was truly professional and welcoming and made the experience of dress shopping so relaxing, stress-free, and fun. She made my feel good about myself and seemed to genuinely care that I felt good about my decision, rather than about just making a sale. Amazing experience and customer service. I went to two other stores before coming here and this was the best all around. Michelle was incredible, I didn't even realize she was the owner until after I had decided on my dress and was thanking her. She was not at all pushy and really let us take our time to decide and encouraged me to try on the dresses I was deciding between as many times as I wanted. I would encourage everyone to go here. They also have a good selection of bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride dresses and even invitations. I can't say enough good things about Bridal Accents Couture. I actually went for one appointment to try on several dresses, and another to try on one specific dress they had just gotten in. At no point did I feel like I was being pressured to spend more money or make a purchase. This place was absolutely fabulous. Amanda was very friendly and helped my bridesmaid and I look for and try on bridesmaid dresses. They wrote down the styles we liked and allowed us to take pictures of everything!! I was there a few weeks ago, and I was very surprised to receive a handwritten thank you note from Amanda in the mail! I mean can you say WOW?! And I didn't even have an appointment! I have to say that choosing Bridal Accents for my wedding gown was the best decision I made in all of my wedding planning. I got married 3 years ago and didn't see this site until today or I would have commented sooner! I can't say enough about this salon!! The dresses are amazing, yes, but Jill and Michelle went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I needed a custom gown made and was quite specific on what I wanted. I was afraid that I would not be able to have my dream gown because I had never actually seen what I envisioned, however, Michelle knew exactly which designer to call on to make it and it was more stunning than could have imagined!! It was perfect-- even to this day when I look at my dress I have to pinch myself! They are so knowledgeable and really want things to be perfect for their brides! Also, I HIGHLY recommend having ALL dress alterations done by Angela Kim, who is also in the same building. Her attention to detail is impeccable-no one does it better than her! They didn't have exactly what I was looking for (letterpress invitations, a filigree headpiece, and an embroidered veil), but they do have gorgeous gowns, headpieces, veils, shoes, and invitations. (I'm just very particular.) What set them apart from other bridal boutiques, though was their customer service. Even though I only ended up buying a garter there, they gave my invaluable recommendations for letter press invites, headpieces, and embroidered veils. In each case, their recommendations ended up being spot-on. I was only sorry that I couldn't give them more of my business. If I didn't already have a bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses, I definitely would have loved shopping there. read more

Disappointed. This is the one word I would use to sum up my experience at Bridal Accents Couture. To start, they were running about 1/2 an hour behind. No big deal, I understand that happens. When they finally got me in, I was paired with a consultant who just blinked at me the whole time. I'm not sure if she was new, or scared or what, but she was of 0 help. Since the wedding gown section of the store was still full when we got there, we asked if we could look at bridesmaid dresses. We did and it went well except that I want to note that 98% of the sample dresses are a size 10. So, if your maids are bigger or smaller than that, the sample dresses will not fit properly. When we asked if a certain dress came in another color, she wordlessly grabbed the swatch book and turned to a page and pointed to the area where the "brown" colors were. Again, didn't say a word or offer any guidance. We wondered "Is she mute?" But she was not. A little while later she asked if I wanted to come try on bridal gowns. I followed her to a big room that had four or five large dressing rooms that were covered with a large curtain. It was very elegant. Dresses lined two walls of the room and the blinking consultant directed me to pick out some that I liked. As I began to pull dresses I realized that every dress I pulled down was a size 10. Again, a warning that 99% of the dresses are a size 10. Of the 12 or so dresses I pulled one was a 12. I also saw one size 8 on the rack. I am confident in this claim because I eventually started looking at the sizes on every dress just to see if I could find one larger that I might fit into. (Keep in mind the dresses are in European sizing so a size 10 is closer to an American 6 or 8 in most cases, a 12 is like an American 8 or 10, you get the drift.) Anyway, I squeezed into a couple and gave up. (It's pretty difficult to envision a dress as being "the one" when in the back you have a panel held in with industrial clamps just to make it "fit"). At one point, my maids asked the consultant if she was going to pull some dresses for me and she replied "I don't know, what do you think she likes?" One of my maids responded, "Ask her, isn't that what you usually do?" She didn't suggest any dresses, did not give any compliments or other advice, did not suggest any accessories or veils, she just stood there, blinking at us. I got dressed and started to walk out. At this point, the consultant was finally concerned and asked what was wrong. I told her that none of the dresses fit me. She walked over and pulled a dress in size 20. I said that dress is going to be way too big! She tried to interest me in a couple more, but I told her that I had found a similar dress that I liked better that morning at a different shop that cost $3,000 less. I said, I think we're just going to go. And so we did. Bridal Accents Couture had some very beautiful dresses. But I was disappointed with the customer service. The consultant acted as though she wished she were somewhere else. It was also disappointing because I could see some of the other, older, consultants working with their brides, and being very helpful and hands-on. I think if I had had a different consultant, the appointment would have gone much differently. My bridesmaids decided when it came time for them to pick out their wedding dresses, this shop would be one they could skip. Additionally, the dresses are kind of spendy ($3k - 5k). I feel that if you are going to spend that much on a dress, you should be able to (really) try it on and get outstanding customer service. We weren't able to get either. read more

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. I had an amazing experience and felt totally pampered and cared for. The experience of the staff is on point and their willingness to go out of their way to make your shopping experience a good on is like no other. The store is beautiful as well! We were greeted with a smile and a mimosa, our rep was quick on her toes and there every second I needed her with help getting in and out of dresses. When I found "the dress" she was not all about closing the deal right then and there like most places are and I liked that no pressure style. I had some custom changes I wanted to make to the dress and they were promt getting back to me after speaking with the designer regarding the changes. I also liked that the designer I went with ONLY sells her dresses in this shop in the whole state on MN. With my custom changes it will be a one of a kind dress! I ordered my dress yesterday and I am sooo excited to see the final product. Though the dress was a little over my budget, I would come back here in a heartbeat.
