Just like what the others said don't bring your car here and if you do make sure to inspect every single inch of your car, after my car was returned to me the overhead console was now loose appearing to be slightly unglued and you can shake it loose, now also theres condensation on my left front lamp and these issues are non existent when I brought my car in, totally unrelated to the collision repair that transpired. I also got a text asking about the checks since they were tracking payment. This bodyshop had possession of the checks the entire time I even sent a screenshot of the check my insurance sent me and an email from my insurance stating that they already sent a check as portion of payment which this bodyshop cannot use for anything else since it was addressed to my hubby. FAR FROM SUPERIOR All I can say is terrible. You're better off finding someone off of Facebook marketplace to do the work. If you do plan to bring your car here for whatever reason, take a picture of every square inch of your car, inside and out or they will rip you off and claim the damage they did was already there before. They tried to hold my car hostage because they "misplaced" a "check" from my insurance. I had to go back and forth with this company and my insurance on tracking where the check was, and the check was in their possession the entire time. The "check" was sent as a wire transfer to their company so it was in their account within a few days before I had to pick up my car. To cover up their faults, I got a call back saying "don't worry about the remaining balance, you can pick up your car at your convenience". They lied, and tried to get more money out of me. After receiving the vehicle my husband noticed the driver side mirror wasn't working and I had a sensor on the dash stating " keyless access problem". Once I returned the vehicle the lady in the office and the tech Demetrious told me the mirror wasn't working and the sensor was on the dash was on when they received the vehicle. They pulled the vehicle to the back to "inspect the vehicle" They told me the harness was wrong and there was nothing they could do since they received it like that. Upon bringing it home, my husband pulled the door panel off, inspected the harness for the mirror and realized that the harness was not fully connected. He also found the antenna for keyless entry was also disconnected. Both issues I was told were like that prior to bringing the vehicle in. My husband called superior and spoke with the lady that helped me. She was extremely rude and unprofessional towards him. When he asked if they had actually taken the door panel off when the vehicle was brought back to the shop she admitted that they never looked at it since "it wasn't their mistake". My husband then told her that he had fixed the issue for them and upon doing so the lady on phone hung up mid conversation. Between the incompetent and low quality employees they have in the shop and the rude and unprofessional employees they have in the office, this body shop is far from superior. They did some very minor work to my car. The dealership sent them the job for warranty work repair . You would think they would do a really good job for the dealership. The color didn't even match and they scratched up a new car. They used a knife to remove a spoiler . Whoever removed the spoiler didn't know what they were doing. They drug the air line all over the black finish of the car. They did fix it and did a amazing job on the new color match. When I got my car back it still had tape on it and rubbing compound all over the car. There is still some light scratches and now buffer marks on the black paint. I don't think this is a very professional shop. The one star is for whoever matched the paint the second time. Every one else that touched my car should be fired. read more

Took my truck for a paint repair, ended up being a bigger project! Paint did not match, over spray all over the truck, did not cover side steps, said ins. did not approve the removal so they just left it on and did not clean the white compound and drips of primer or what ever they used, had drips of clear on the other door, scratched the side of the bed said there was national shortage on a blackout sticker so they just painted up to the sticker and did not do that properly as well smh, damaged my grille and tail gate handle with their cleaning chemicals. Another UPDATE So after everything manager Gabe took car to Honda and fixed my alarm system he told me he would take care of any cost himself. Today I get an email from my insurance company showing that the repairs were actually added to my claim. My window never got fixed. Gabe called me telling me it was going to cost 600 to replace generator of course I don't have 600.00 for that and he acted like he was covering cost and was not going to pay for that either. Meanwhile it could have just been added to my insurance claim like my alarm system was added?! So now I am out of a window that rolled up and down perfectly fine until I took to get repairs done on car. GREAT! Update to my review. Same day I posted my review with my frustration Gabe the manager called me multiple times Stressing the issue of me not being satisfied with what was going on with car he told me to come in ASAP they will either fix this issue or take it to Honda personally and get it fixed! They focus on money and not what works for the client and if one of their representative does an estimate and another one happens to do another, the other estimate is not valid. Last year on December, 2021, I was traveling north bound on State Route 113, when all of the sudden, a large black bird collided with the right corner of my windshield and pillar, shattering the glass and putting a couple of small dents on the pillar, and also causing the plastic molding on the inside of the pillar to pop out of place. At the time, I was driving my 2021 Subaru WRX premium, which I had purchased new in August of that year. I contacted Modesto Subaru for the repairs and they referred me to Superior Paint & Auto Body. As you guys can see from my details of my accident, the repairs that needed to be performed on my car were minor repairs. Well, the quality of work that this Body Shop did to my car was below standards to say the least. Especially, on the installation of the new windshield. Whoever does their windshield repairs and installations, does not know what the f..k he is doing. I had to take my car back to them several times, because my windshield was improperly aligned, which caused both the top right and bottom right corners to stick out of weather striping and rubber molding on that side. And even after all of those times, they could still not get it done right. Therefore, after dealing with so many times of incompetent work from their windshield repair person, I gave up due to extreme frustration about this. In my opinion, if this place doesn't want to piss of any more customers with windshield repairs like me, they should fire that guy and get someone else. The only reason that I am giving this place one star, is because the guy that I dealt with there named (Ricky), did everything he could on his end to help me and take care of me. He is a good guy and is not at fault for any of this. Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing for the rest of his team. I will not be going back there again, or would ever recommend this place to any of my family and friends, or anyone else for that matter. read more

Had my new 2020 Kia Optima for just a couple months. While coming back from Idaho the hood was hit by a big rock while driving by a construction area. Took the car to Superior to have this blemish fixed. First thing I thought when I saw the repair job was, "Magic!" How did they make this ugly dent disappear. If you want a true experience of dissatisfaction, then this is the body shop for you. I dropped off my truck May 31st at Superior Auto body while being told it was a few week job and today August 9th, I dropped off my truck at a second shop to finish the job. The last week of July was the first time I was told my truck was complete. I went to look at it and there was sags, chunks, and scrapes in the paint. For example, as they're putting on my tailgate they must slid it on something and slid the edge of paint off. The wiring was not even similar to as dropped off with clips being broke on the plugs and it ran through holes without being covered. My damaged rim had not been located and my billet receiver insert was missing. I emailed the list to them after leaving and waited for a reply. Approximately a week later I received a reply that my truck was complete. I showed up and the paint was a lot better, but not a premium job. The wiring had been cut and spliced in areas that should be factory, wiring ran through holes without being covered that were covered before, camper shell not bolted down, new brake light was chipped, rim not located, and to my very dissatisfaction, the front end is popping and the reverse cameras and sensors are not functioning. Like I said in the beginning, if you want a true experience of dissatisfaction then this is the body shop for you. If you care about your vehicle and want it repaired correctly then you should take it to somebody who cares. At this time I wish yelp had a zero star rating as it is much needed for the professionalism of the shop. read more

My wife and I got into an accident earlier this year. The car, an EV bought 6 weeks earlier was not totaled but not drivable. We had to have it towed and delivered directly to a Body shop. I called 3 different places all claiming to be full. One of them, was Superior Paint. Feeling a bit stressed that I could not find an Auto Body shop left me with limited options on what to do next. Then While looking for more places, Superior Paint called me back. The shops manager, Eloy asked me questions about my vehicle and told me he can make a space for it but I would have to really work with him. He told me up front that parts for a brand new EV could take month's to deliver and that I was going to have to be patient. I really appreciated his reality check, brutal honesty though the thought of losing my car for 3-4 month's was heartbreaking. As it turned out, that is exactly what happened. Needed over 30 parts that trickled in very slowly over the course of 4 months. Eloy and Delores went out of their way to consistently check on part availability and sent me weekly e-mail updates on how many I still needed to complete the repair. My mechanic recommended these guys. Took my car in, and it came back looking great-- washed, vacuumed, shiny and new. Best part-- I saw a ding I thought they'd "missed." I was wrong-- it was on the opposite side from the original accident-- but when I told them, the way they responded was exactly what you'd want. They didn't say "that's impossible" or "I guess you can show us what you're looking at but we did what we were supposed to do." They immediately said "show us. We want you to be satisfied." I showed them, they looked at the papers, and we straightened it out-- and they offered to buffer that ding out a little later in the day. I've been to places where the first reaction is denial without inspection. These guys do it the right way, and want their customers to be satisfied.
