During what should have been a routine installation, the installers drilled through a water pipe and flooded our apartment. As water poured into our home, we were frantically trying to move our belongings and stop the flooding while the installers repeatedly told us, "It's not a problem," and "It's no big deal." To make matters worse, they laughed while this was happening. Whether they were laughing at the situation or something else, it was completely inappropriate given the damage being done to our home. We were left dealing with a flooded apartment, damaged belongings, concerns about mold, and the stress of cleaning up and working through the repair process. I understand that accidents can happen during construction or installation work. What I cannot understand is the lack of urgency, professionalism, and empathy shown during the incident. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Greenlight Fiber.

My couch cushions were just thrown on top of a pile and terribly stained. 80% of my wood and metal furniture had damage after my long distance move. Even a cherry table which I listed as a high value item. Had a major gouge on one of the leaf extensions and three of my chairs were stained and scratched. All of my dealings with the company over the phone and via email were superb regarding my move from Connecticut to New York. Tanny was quick to communicate and listen to my concerns. Paulo was unwilling to complete an inventory until I threatened to call the office. 2. Paulo was unwilling to give me a copy of the inventory pre-trip until I threatened to cal the office. He said it was not customary. 3. Paulo was unwilling to let me check off my numbered boxes at arrival until I showed him in the papers that it was my right to do so. 4. At the arrival point, he asked to see my copy of the inventory form. He wouldn't say it but he had failed to take a complete inventory and was actually adding boxes as they arrived and then lied about it. 5. He damaged my bed frame, shelf, and TV. When I commented, about the shelf he said it was just some paint that had rubbed off on it. He proceeded to scrape more of the coating off trying to prove it was just some paint. 6. A lot of my large goods (lamps, shelves) were not wrapped and were free to move around the truck. 7. He was upset that I lived on the second floor of a house. When moving my boxes out, they were practically thrown down the stairs. 8. They wrapped up my plants and cleaning chemicals and placed them in a box in the truck even though I said not wrap them and the moving company said not to move cleaning supplies.
