I provided a document to Superior Process Service for service on Thursday 7/18/2019. The court gave me an extremely abbreviated time frame (3 business days) to ensure the other party was served. After obtaining quotes from 6 other process servers, Tom was extremely helpful and gave the lowest price, even though the place of service was outside of the 101 loop. While I'm not happy I was in the position to have to use such services, I have to say that this individual was extremely helpful. I was very nervous to have legal papers served to an unstable and threatening ex boyfreind and also a bit clueless and he walked me through the process. The Scottsdale Police Department sent me here because I needed legal documents delivered before a holiday and they suggested this place for his professionalism and promptness. Apparently when you pay for something to be served, you only have a few 'attempts' of the server trying to find the individual receiving the documents, and then you must pay again. That sucks. This guy was so nice that due to the close proximity of his office to the individual I was having served, he assured me that he'd keep going until he got ahold of the person so that I could feel safe. I'm surprised most of their reviews are good. Weird. So I pay online, send the paperwork. I call the next day to see if anyone's been assigned to serve it, without asking what case it's for he tells me it can take up to two days, so I call again and they had already tried twice. So without asking what the best time would be to serve this person, the server went on and took a shot in the dark. Great, only three attempts left. Apparently, there was a blank box I was supposed to fill out? Okay. But if there is nothing there wouldn't you think the server would call to get an idea of when to serve this person? I had mentioned to them (before I paid) that this person had court and of course they didn't share that the court could just serve it (why would they? I can't see giving this company more than 3 stars...they completed the requested service but communication is poor. After I submitted payment end of November, I didn't hear from anyone until Dec 27th later that service was completed on the Dec 14th. At this point,I had written them off as incomplete service. If they can get a handle on their communication protocol, I would give them a better rating. read more

Amazing job done! I had a difficult person to serve and they called and changed plans with no problem when they had an opportunity to get it done. I really appreciate the service. Tom was nothing but helpful, always answered his phone, took everything professionally and answered any and all questions I had. I dont remember the name of the woman who helped me at the front desk in the office, but she handled everything with just as much care as Tom did, and even found an extra paper I had left in the stack with my confidential info that i had forgotten to take out. I searched and superior was the first i found. I went through the process and waited to hear a response. I got tired of waiting and called, the lady on the phone said they were having issues serving the defendant because the front desk would always say they weren't at the location. Long story short i ran into the defendant after 5 months no communication and they first thing they said was i got your lawsuit but the process server said if i didn't take it then i was never served , then proceeded to say they read the paper and they have an envelope with my name on it. (Of course that's not their choice). Then i filed a dispute because i was completely disappointed. I received a call this morning saying that never happened and it's a lie, the defendant made that up smh. Then to proceed and say they are still trying to serve the defendant and refused to refund the $75. I laughed and said i will be writing a review because the person tried to argue it never happened and said the defendant looked it up online. It's principle for me! read more

I was going through a very stressful and upsetting situation of not only having to get a restraining order bc of being harassed and stalked by someone, but not being able to even get the restraining order served to have it take effect. After several frustrating (and time consuming) failed attempts with trying to have the police serve it, i called Tom at Superior Process Services, Inc. I asked him several questions which he answered and helped me with. I actually called him at least three times with questions (hey it's not everyday you have to serve someone with a restraining order!) and he never made me feel like I was bothering him or taking up too much of his time... He was more than helpful. I decided to go ahead and hired to try and serve the papers. I went into their office and brought them the order to be served and made a quick and easy payment through PayPal. Within just a few hours of leaving their office, I got their call that they had been successful in serving him!!! :-) Ours was a somewhat tricky situation but they still managed to get the job done no problem and in record time! I have never had to use a process server, but I did have a very positive experience with Tom at Superior Process Servers. I had mailed documents to my former husband, and the green card for certified mail was signed both times by his secretary - not constituting actual service since he didn't personally sign for the documents. So I decided to call this company. Tom was so helpful and so knowledgable! He helped me realize that in ' Rule 40-43' there was a deadline for service of the documents that I had already missed. Because of his suggestion for an alternative solution, I was able to work around having missed the deadline, so in fact I never ' hired' Tom, but with his help, I didn't have to. That says a lot!
