The roofing workers was with a 3rd party contracting company. They did a great job. After the work was complete, I paid the balance of 6,500K. I didn't realize until a couple of days later I over paid MRN Contracting by $500. I reached out to them and ask for a refund of the over-payment. I was told by the sales associate and his partner a refund was on the way. After several attempts to notify them I never received my refund, the phone number was disconnected. However, the roofing material company was not paid. I received a certified letter in the mail, and within 7 days another letter via Fed Ex from an attorney's office suing me for the roofing materials I already paid for to MRN Contracting. After several attempts to notify MRN Contracting of this mistake, no one has reached out to me or take the responsibility and resolve this huge mistake. A "claim of lien" has been placed on my property. The roofing company has not been paid for their materials. Thief is a crime!!! The customer should not be punished for their criminal and irresponsible business practices' .

Tell the truth, One of the owners would rather be employed as a nature guide in Alaska than run this company. I know this because the last time he visited my home, he spent a significant amount of time discussing his adventures in Alaska and how he could get me a great deal on a hiking trip there, completely disregarding my handicap and the fact that I use a walking cane. When I initially wanted to engage him for a roofing repair, it took him about six weeks to get back to me, and eventually, an active Repair was scheduled. Unfortunately, during those six weeks, the situation worsened, leaving me with a much larger problem. When I attempted to schedule him last year, we set an appointment. Afterward, I was unable to make that appointment and tried to reschedule. He was clearly irritated that I canceled and hung up on me. Since they are now undertaking large roofing jobs in other states, they are no longer interested in helping homeowners in this area in this area. Oh well. At least my very first interaction with them was decent.

This has been a nightmare from start to finish. Communication dropped off after the contract was…read moresigned, work was poorly coordinated, and follow-up requests were ignored. After installation, we had problems we never had before: roof leaks, ceiling damage, and animals entering the attic. We also had roofing nails left around our property that caused flat tires. Every time we reported an issue, we were given a different explanation...a nail, then the chimney cap, then chimney caulking. We have video of their "water test" where water was sprayed directly into the chimney cap vents, which is not a realistic test of rainfall. An independent chimney inspection later found no issues. We also have documentation from pest control showing missing drip edge that may explain how animals gained access. This company did not properly stand behind their work or provide a consistent, honest assessment of the problems after installation. I would strongly caution homeowners to look elsewhere.

When…read moreEric came to inspect my property, Georgia was in the middle of a Covid lockdown and I was pleased that he followed CDC protocols and the entire process was contactless. After inspecting my roof, Eric gave me a call while still outside to give me a summary. He followed up with a detailed estimate and guidance on working with my insurance company. After filing my claim with my insurance company, I had to wait nearly a month for my mortgage company to release the insurance check (the mortgage company had to endorse the check). During this time, I kept Eric in the loop and he was very understanding. In fact, he even offered financing options while I waited for my insurance check. When I finally received the insurance funds, I called The Roof Clinic to schedule my appointment. My roof installation was scheduled for 8am on 8/21/20. That morning, Eric was sitting in his truck outside my house a little after 7am awaiting delivery of the supplies. The team arrived by 7:30am. The supplies were delivered by 7:45am and by 8am they were actually ripping the existing shingles off my roof. By 8:45am they were done stripping the roof. Around 1pm Eric returned to inspect the work that had been done. By 1:30pm, I had a brand new roof and the crew was gone. I can't say enough good things about my experience with The Roof Clinic. Eric was courteous, informative, and very responsive. The work crew was on time, worked quickly, and delivered an excellent finished product. In addition, the price was more than fair!
