Update: he has now sent in requests for me to contact him through my job. He is stalking me to take this review down. We had them come out about a year ago to fix our septic system said we need a flushing, new fitting and filter. We paid about $1600 more or less for all of it and went on our way. We noticed some standing water a few months later and called. He said he would come out.....and he did not show up. We called again because we noticed that the issue had gotten worse. Still no response. We called another company who told us he did not replace the filter in our system nor did he flush out both sides of our septic tank. He only flushed the water side. The contractor then began to tell us that. Superior is no longer allowed to do any work in Cherokee county and that his guy is a crook. We will be filling a report. read more

On August 18th, 2020, Haynes and his employee came out to repair my septic. When backing down my driveway, the truck stalled and the brakes failed causing the truck with trailer attached to free fall down my driveway. Luckily a tree stopped the trailer and truck from going fully into the creek. This caused damage to both a tree and a landscape timber along side my driveway. Haynes assured me that all would be made right. After months of constant follow-up on my part, the tree was finally removed. Here we are over a year later and my driveway has yet to be repaired even though I was assured it would be a number of times. I am beyond disappointed in this experience and would not recommend a company who is led by someone who is unable to keep their word. read more

I thought these guys were great. They answered right away. Came out same day and did the inspection and told me I would have the report soon. Didn't get the report and so I called and they said I would get report by Tuesday morning. Here it is Wednesday and no report and now they won't even respond to text and won't even answer the phone. I would have done the repair with these guys but now can't trust them. So disappointed. Not getting me the report means I have to buy the house as is and do the repairs out of my pocket. I hate giving bad reviews but this time it cost me over a thousand dollars. Update. He just sent me the report. Hopefully it isn't too late. Giving 3 stars. Don't be misled, Superior Septic is not affiliated with Superior Plumbing. You are getting a self-employed owner who does business on his cell phone. I have not had good luck with self-employed contractors in the past and wanted to avoid getting in a situation that might need a follow up visit after they had been paid. Hence, my disappointed on the day of the scheduled work when I called Superior Plumbing to confirm my appointment and was told they do not have a septic division. Haynes, came out and was very likeable and seemed knowledgeable. I agreed to let him do the work! He determined that a fitting had failed and needed to be replaced. I agreed to have him do the work. He returned to complete the work, but the new fitting was smaller than the original. He though he could make it work.....the tank still leaks from time to time. I have called him about a dozen times and he says he's coming and never shows up to revaluate why his fix did not work. I paid him $2,400.00. which would be ok if it fixed the problem, but it didn't and I still don't know why. read more

They came out to give me a quote and when we told them to go ahead with service they drain the septic and said they would be back the next day to do the rest. They never showed back up and I called and texted them several times. Received a text 5 days later saying they were on vacation and would get to us this weekend. They never showed. WORST service ever. We cannot use our water for a long period of time due to backflow. read more

After having issues with other companies, I decided to call Superior, a local company. They answered the phone first call and discussed at length the process. Haynes and his assistant, whose name escapes me, located the septic tank covers and got to work. It was close to full!! So glad I didn't delay for another year. We also installed risers to save using a digger next time. They were professional and good guys to boot. I'll definitely call them in four years to do the maintenance. Called and spoke with someone who seemed nice enough. Scheduled an appointment. When the day came they just never showed up. I understand emergencies can come up in that line of work but nobody even called me to tell me they weren't coming. Honestly this was a blessing in disguise because the people I ended going with did a phenomenal job at a phenomenal price. I called four other companies, this one had the best price and the fellow who answered the phone was straight forward with an estimate. I scheduled a time to have them out. They showed up one day early. Clean cut crew, well spoken and knowledgeable. They got straight to work, assessed the situation and there were no fluctuations on the price I was quoted. They pumped the tank out, tested things to make sure everything was flowing, pointed out some stuff I needed to keep an eye on, recapped the system, filled in the hole and headed off. read more

Have had on and off problems with my septic system for over a year. I have dealt with several companies before and problem was never correctly diagnosed or fixed. I called several companies and Superior was the only one I didn't have to chase for an appointment or a returned call. 20 minutes out and my problem was diagnosed. Talked to Haynes. Seems like a nice enough guy! Missed first appointment. Ouch! Rescheduled since they were the cheapest around and waited over 2.5 hours and it was dark. Haynes told me both times real estate inspection fee $175 but when confirming on day of, he states "Technically its $193 out the door." I was told they had cameras but he was unable to locate septic. Told me to call with any questions, I did and I got ignored. You know how it goes, get what you pay for! Maybe you'll have better luck! read more
