Matt and Logan pumped my tank this morning and did a great job. The company called and let me know their estimated arrival and they showed up on time. My tank is one that is dug up for service and they made sure to only dig up what was necessary to reach the tank. The ground was very dry and I was impressed at how they avoided having dirty fly all over my yard and deck. These gentlemen David and Preston worked so hard for us. They work two days in the cold and had to hand dig most of it due to a gas line and waterline. My house is only two yrs old and the builder did a horrible job. My septic was crushed and very little ever made it to the septic tank. Thank you so much for taking great care of us. worst possible service you could get from a company. They tried to say that my septic field went to the left but reality is to the right in my backyard. They were rude crude and did not seem to care whatsoever. I asked him pacifically not to drive their tractor over my landscaping and they still did anyway, I will never use this company again and I recommend everybody else the same. Also when trying to contact a member of management, they are never available and a very rude individual. Scorpion septic are liaison. They say no charge for pump out with repair. They inspected my tanker and tried to say my main line wascracked and my outlet was crushed. After i received my almost $6,000 estimate i dug up both side of my tanker. Neither side was damaged. There was a small belly in the main line that was easily fixed by raising the pipe. Theater end was supposedly crushed right at the outlet . No issues found. They also wanted to charge $515 tocut out a 3 foot peice of sidewalk. Plus $450 to pump the tank.​​​ read more

What was supposed to cost me a couple hundred to clean out my septic system wound up costing me a few thousand dollars due to his having to put his hand inside the septic tank to yank out a small number of vines that managed to get inside the tank. That's all folks. read more

In my 29 years of home ownership in Paulding County, Scorpion Septic is by far the most unethical company I've encountered. Their price gouging is far worse than anything I've ever seen. At one point I mentioned that there was no savings by having a septic system, over having public sewage; they quickly countered, saying the savings are significantly more. An hour later they handed me a bill that wiped out any septic system savings for my 29 years of owning the house. Side-note: Over the past three decades I've done plumbing from supply lines (underground and interior) and fixtures to drainage, to septic tank inlet repair, to natural gas; so, I have a reasonable perspective on skills and costs. They suggested root treatment; so, I jokingly asked if that was going to be $200 for what I could buy at Home Depot for $22 (now $24). The supervisor laughed and said, "It definitely won't be $200.", implying far less. When I got the emailed invoice, it was $678 (That's 135 treatments of the product sold at Home Depot). Camera fee: $375.... The same camera system they used costs less, brand new at Home Depot. Plus, they said they'd check the first 40 feet; they went no more than 15 feet, assuming there were only two root clogs (though the first 30 feet of leech field looped under an old oak tree). When connecting the new 4" inlet pipe to the septic tank, they said they could go back 12" more (to join with the 4" pipe from my house), getting rid of the remaining 12" of 3" pipe, but that the extra 12" of pipe would cost "$1,000". 3" pipe coming out of the house is smarter; so, I think they knew I'd never go for that. Lastly, to add insult to extreme price gouging, their truck left a large oil spot that can't be removed. On the positive side: The two fellas were personable. And, the supervisor told me that if I wrote a review, then I should be completely honest. To be perfectly honest, I hate to see them working for a company like Scorpion Septic. I think they were well aware of the unethical nature of the company and knew, based on stories they mentioned, that Scorpion Septic makes an art of gouging folks in a time of desperation and few options. Lastly, I went with Scorpion Septic over others out of a desire to support local businesses. I won't be making that mistake again. read more

I am selling my house and have it under contract. The buyers wanted the tank pumped out and an inspection conducted to ensure it is in good working order. I had NEW field lines installed in 2018. Once the tech heard me say I needed a inspection letter, he immediately started hem hawing, and questioning the reputation of the septic company that I had do the work back in 2018. Once he popped the lids he immediately told me that he would have to charge me another $125 to dispose of the flushable wipes that he saw in the tank. I never saw any, but I'm sure there weren't more than a few. He then told me that he saw some standing water in the first chamber and he couldn't give me a clean inspection letter unless he pumped out the chamber and that would cost an additional $695... What? So basically he held me hostage to get my inspection letter to sell my house. So he hooked up and pumped out the chamber and only pumped out 40 or 50 gallons... Hose was sucking air just a couple minutes. for $695. Total rip off. He did however waive the flushable wipes fee. My total ended up being $1000 for what was supposed to be a $350.000 Job. I do not recommend Scorpion septic. read more

Shannon Wilmont 678-822-4232 101 OAKLEY WAY DALLAS, GA 30132 the owner of Scorpion Septic flat out lied to me about doing some work for my commercial property. When we had the inspector come out she asked us to update the markings for the septic tanks and field lines he did previously. Shannon then said he would do it for around $200 bucks. Then, on the day the inspector was showing up for reinspection, and an hour before they were starting work, his contractor/employee called me and said he wouldn't do the work unless I paid the full amount which was $3,600 to do it. I tried calling him to ask him what happen.....he picked up realized who i was then CLICK!. I texted him....no response....then he just blocked me. This guy is one of the biggest cowards I've ever met. Cant even man up and talk to me about what happened and just hid behind his employees. SAD! read more

Very pleased with their service, not only did they meet their time window, but they were done in 2 hours. I had just a straight pump but their prices were better than reasonable and they were pleasant to speak with. They suggested a possible modification but didn't push it. They were honest and after dealing with another big name company- who took advantage of us- I will definitely use Scorpion Septic again! They were very helpful and friendly in the beginning, but then they sent someone by to wander around my property without my consent. They also called 811 to mark utilities without my knowledge which was pointless as they didn't mark the correct area where my septic is located. Truck wouldn't fit at the entrance of my driveway so none of this was even needed. Very disconcerting to find random men wandering on my property with no warning. No apology was made. read more

These guys are the best! At the office Morgan answered my questions about a serious issue I was having. Preston and Matt came out and looked over everything. I was told options with prices. Never pressured into doing anything! I had more serious issues than I knew but they figured it out and talked to me in terms I could understand and answered all my questions. The one thing they did that sold me on them was I had a field line blockage and instead of trying to sell me on a whole new field line they offer to try to fix it. Now it may only be a temporary fix that in a few years I may have to have replaced but they will be the ones I will want to reach out to! It was Sunday afternoon and my toilet was overflowing and backing up in my bathtub, and when it overflowed it leaked into my crawl space. My husband has IBS so this was my literal nightmare. I called the first service for emergency plumbing I could find and they recommend I call Shannon from Scorpian since the company I called didn't do septic. He came out within a few hours and ran a camera found out I had a tree root In my lines. He got me fixed up for the night so we could use our toilet and came out first thing the next day and replaced the portion of damaged pipe. He was polite and his prices were very reasonable. I called to get an estimate for a potential job, I was told someone could come out same day which was fine, however, no fees were discussed for estimates or services at time of call. The techs came out did some overview and checking around my property only to come to their professional opinion that it was not a septic leak & they did not need to do any work. Following their visit I was issued an invoice or bill for "Site Visit Charge". Upon calling their office, the lady answering the phones apologized for not informing me up front of any service charges. There website, trucks & other advertisements etc all state "Free Estimate". Which is false advertising. In this case this was not even an estimate. Again, they came to conclusion and gave professional opinion that their services were not needed. I politely informed the lady with the office that had any fees been discussed up front, as they should have been, I would not have requested them to come out. Although they were professional and courteous, If this is the way they make money and handle customers, even if I did need their type of services, I would not be using this company due to this first impression. read more
