Curtis came out to our house to give us a bid, which was considerably lower than either of us expected; His crew showed up 2 days later on time and called when they were in the area. The foreman, Stephan, reviewed the scope of the job with us and he and his crew got to work immediately, cutting up a large elm that had fallen by our house and several other large trees that had been damaged in a storm. They were ALL extremely courteous and respectful, not to mention hard-working. They used safe working practices and were professional in all aspects of the job. This last tree was corned in a tight 8 foot space between my new AC, my neighbor's carport, and my house. Since we have lost around 10 big trees in my neighborhood with all this crazy weather, I was nervous about this one. Our old oak tree got a lovely haircut and has never looked better. The tree trimming was very meticulous & thorough, they removed a huge truckload of small dead branches and also cleaned up branches that were laying on the roof and our fence. Our tree in the backyard also go a trimming and this will help keep leaves off of our deck. These guys were working hard in the summer heat and I so appreciate the awesome job they did. I sent out several requests for bids on yelp, and I felt that Texas Stripes was the best out of the bunch. Roberto was very responsive with scheduling, and was able to get me in much more quickly than other providers.
