I was moving 2 more things out of my unit 1 day after my payment was due. I called and asked if they would still have to charge me for the entire month and the manager said "no". I appreciate this. This was the worst communication I've ever experienced at a storage facility. I just felt when I was dealing with memories, furniture, etc. I thought of it as my own, and how I would want to be communicated with or treated. i'm just very disappointed and saddened with my experience there feel that they should perhaps have a different procedure or rules when it comes to the units and disposing of them. That and their parking lot is awful. Gate entrance isn't big enough for a moving truck, or if you have a trailer, which most people are using those items when renting a storage unit- your vehicle your trailer or whatever it is has to hang out in the road causing disruption to other drivers on the road and allows a greater opportunity for incident to happen to personal vehicle/equipment, or especially rented equipment. But I'm sure they have something in the paperwork that doesn't liable for that too.The layouts is terrible, and the facility invest in a magnet sweeper. I brought my own so I could at least do it in front of my unit and around it after seeing all the debris that could puncture in the parking. I truly regret moving my unit to this facility because it was closer to where I was moving. I should've just kept it in Elkins. The distance/ fuel costs etc wouldn't be as bad as the loss I experienced here. It's all just stuff. Everything can be replaced, but I just wish there would've been opportunity to rectify problem if it comes up, I have to get contact information, emails phone numbers, addresses, emergency contacts, etc. I expect those to be exhausted. I received maybe one phone call, and it was at the very beginning that I was renting the unit. Grant is the only person I interacted with, unfortunately, I didn't see any other employees.

And am still trying to find items, like my Black and Decker tool kit (drill, etc) missing, my coxial cables were all taken out of the bag I had them stored in. They didn't load boxes even though they were told time and time again, purposely left a lot behind, they did load an empty box and bring it. I had to hire a trailer and additional help to move all of my boxes, broken table that was hidden, etc. to my new home. These men were recommended by Johnson Hardware, U-Haul. I was assured they would never be recommended again. A move is hard enough without dishonest men taking advantage of you as a single, senior woman on her own. My friend, in the kitchen, had to keep telling they had quit working after moving one piece of furniture. Little Guys has been recommended several times to me since this nightmare of a move. Only one move worse, as I was moving from the home I shared with my late husband, one of the movers asked to use the bathroom, I said "Yes" of course. He rummaged through the medicine cabinet until he found my Levian chocolate diamond rings hidden behind items and stole both of them. Sadly, that was my costliest move. This one was horrible also.
