I used Superior Water (SW) via cost co to install a reverse osmosis (RO)water filter system. I was used to carrying a couple of those 36 water bottles packs into my car, then dragging them inside; and then I purchased the pur water filter system and that took up a lot of time and and especially counter space. I really love now that I can get filtered water from the little faucet at my kitchen sink. What a blessing! It's nice to have that counter space back too. About the the salesman, Cliff Boxer whom I purchased the water filter from via cost co, he was extremely patient, explaining to me the value and annual service after the sale I would be getting at a service cost, but the value is tremendous to me to me. Service after the sale? You bet. Danielle wears many hats, has been available to me with any questions that I've had, but my questions weren't about the value I was getting from SW's system; it was about the credit card I was using. Purely my issue and she helped make everything possible that I am able to get the RO and soft water installed. I am scheduled to get their soft water installed by end of month. I spent over $7000 to have an EcoWater water softener and reverse osmosis be installed through Costco. The technician capped my backyard water spigot and I didn't know. I just moved into a brand new house so I had the plumber under my warranty check it out but they couldn't figure it out. I called these guys and they said someone would come by and they never did. I ended up following up with my development plumber because Superior said they would charge me to come out. Then I got charged by my other plumber because they figured our what Superior Water did. The manager Louiea seemed to want to help me, however they kept saying they would come and after a few no shows they finally came and fixed the issue. I'm still left with a $250 bill and a sour taste in my mouth! read more

I had my water softner and RO water systems installed last week. Jason was my sales rep., he was extremely knowledgeable and helped me understand how both systems worked. He was a big part in my decision making. Josh was my installer and I was extemely impressed with his work. He listened to my concerns and didn't hesitate to make some adjustments with the placement of my water softener. The installation was done to perfection, exactly where I wanted the unit installed. The work was neat and clean. I also want to add that I was lucky that Jorge was avaiable to ride a long with Josh and played a big part in installation of the RO system. My wife and I are enjoying both systems. As for the systems that we purchased, the value was there. Great work! Also, we did use Costco. read more

Great job by Adam Stoesser and Superior Water &Air We recently contacted Superior Water & Air regarding a slipped seal on our 10 year old reverse osmosis drinking water kitchen sink faucet. Adam Stoesser responded to our call and provided excellent, on time and friendly service.. Adam was very knowledgeable and professional. He thoroughly inspected the sink area and verified the seal had not yet caused leaks. We opted to have a new faucet installed instead of replacing the seal. He also replaced a shower head with handheld assembly. Adam is very neat, he cleaned up and removed debris and we are extremely happy with the results. Superior installed a water softener for me just over a year ago. I had to be gone for 3 months I "thought" I turned the unit off but upon return I learned I hadn't. The system kept regenerating nightly shortly after my return. Gary came out and found the pressure build up had caused an old pipe to split. He repaired it quickly and rented an air pusher "fan" for me. Instructed me to spray the wet areas with bleach a few times to prevent mold. Thank goodness he kept looking for reasons it kept regenerating or I would have had a Huge $$$ mess to deal with. I can't thank Gary & his boss enough for saving the day!!!! After water filtration system installed in our house a few weeks later we find out that water is dripping inside of our cabinet from the system just installed by superior water. We called customer service they came over and fixed the issue but our brand new kitchen cabinet was water damaged. For past 5 months we keep calling the company to get resolution for damages kitchen cabinet and no respond. Terrible customer service. As soon as they received payment they have no interest to resolve the problem they created. They reason why we decided to work with this company because of Costco recommendation. Do yourself a favor use more reliable company. read more

Sadly, Superior Water and Air has decided not to resolve their water damage. The worst part is that Todd (company president?) called me to discuss my review and we had a terrific conversation, but that was apparently lip service as he won't call me back now. The company abandoned their attempts to fix the issue after I refused their bandaid fix of covering their water damage with a sheet of plastic. Please review your other options before signing a contract with this overpriced for performance company. *** Update 6/26/14 *** Most times, a second chance is always deserved. After about an hour and a half meeting with the GM at my home, and even after a very rocky start and further research of others since my first encounter, I opted to give Superior my business. It was nice to know that there are company's that actually seem to care about customer service. I was told that because of my original review (see below), that the sales techniques would be presented in a different manner to avoid what caused my dislike in the first place. I certainly hope this holds true. It was a good opportunity to point out my situation, and that many people are in the same boat as me, and that people need to feel comfortable in making high dollar decisions. Now, that being said, let me say that the two installers who came to my house were very pleasant, very professional, and very thorough in completing all the work of installing a new water heater, water softener and Reverse Osmosis drinking water system. They took the time to explain the main points of what was important in my new installation. I was also pleased that they cleaned up well when they were done. Installation took about 4 hours as they had a lot to do. Since then, things seem to be working fine with no complaints on our end. *** Update 4/9/14 *** Received a phone call last week from the General Manager who obviously was unhappy to be aware of my original review. He wanted a chance to correct my view of their company. Our conversation was a good one even though I still felt very strongly about my original experience. One point he wanted to make was that my review should not reflect on Costco in any way. He also stated reasons for incentives given to me as to the pricing and how long I had to make a decision. I understood his point of view, but also stated that I simply wasn't ready to make a large purchase in that short of time. I fully admitted they were the first company I got a visit from, and that I would never spend a great deal of money without further comparison to price, product and service. I use Yelp a lot, and I value true and reliable opinions of businesses. This is why I try to be fair in my little reviews. This is also why I agreed to reconsider their services once I regrouped. *** Original Review *** To be blunt, I give a one star rating for High Pressure sales tactics. I was at Costco and talked to the guy at their booth. Already having an older water softener system, I was curious as to what Superior had to offer. Individual at booth was very friendly Sales Rep showed up as scheduled even though she tried to suggest changing appointment so my wife could be present. My hunch as to why was later proven true. She tested our water and began to explain their products. I was highly intrigued at the product line. Here is where my distaste and distrust began. Knowing what my wife paid for our current system 14 years ago, the prices didn't overwhelm me. When I explained that I wasn't going to make a split second decision, she expressed her reason that "she told me my wife should have been here". The offer laid before me was "valid" until 9AM the following morning and was a one time deal. Yes, it was. A deal breaker. No where at their Costco booth was there a flashing banner explaining "One Time Only Deals", or "Offer Valid For 16 Hours Only". Shame on Costco for going the way of high pressure car salesman tactics. In the past 12 months I have had to replace a roof, heat pump, and a washer and dryer set. Not one of these purchases were made with high pressure split second decisions. All parties involved let me make a timely and well informed decision. Superior has some good reviews to be found online, and they may offer a great product and have good service, but I find it hard to believe that a price is only good for 16 hours. Plus! Having an existing system, there was no mention of a possible discount on the install since the plumbing is already available. It wasn't even looked at or considered. read more

I just bought my Reverse Osmosis system and water softener in December 2017. I moved across town and Matt came out to my old house, grabbed my softener, patched things up, and came to new house and installed all of my equipment again, for a VERY fair price...less than 10% of the total worth. I haven't put salt in my system yet, and Matt told me I still have about 160 days to go! System: Amazing and extremely low maintainence. Service: Incredible. These guys DELIVER. It's hard to find companies that sell well, and service well, but these guys do it. Overall: We're extremely happy and we're doing our part daily to try and drink ourselves into savings. P.S. The only problem with the system I bought is that it makes me want to take REALLY long showers. read more

I recently had my water heater give out on me and was contacted by Superior Water in Air as they work with Home Depot services. Danielle was so amazingly sweet and accommodating and I felt comfortable working with her. She set the appointment for the next afternoon but called my back and said they could move it up so I was extra happy. Technician Mark called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way (vs the standard 2-hour window mess) and was on time, did the detail report, called me to go over things and get my approval then had my new water heater installed and up to code within a short amount of time. No extra charges from the original estimate, even though I know he had to go back to the shop for a few more parts. City inspector came out a week later and it passed inspection. Woo Whoo! In searching for a plumber I spoke with other receptionists but none had the excellent level of customer service as Danielle. I saw that again and again in the Yelp reviews and I can confirm that they're techs are great as well. Although I hope I don't have to call on them anytime soon, I know they will take care of me when the time comes. read more

We recently moved to Idaho and soon realized we had hard water (only bad thing about Idaho) and just got tired of trying to clean those stains in the toilets etc. A friend of ours recommended Superior Water and Air (through Costco) since that was the company she used for her Water Softener install and she is completely satisfied. So we thought we'd give them a try AND are we glad we did. We also felt that we were getting a reputable company since they were affiliated with Costco. That relationship was important to us. Our Salesman, Cliff Boxer, was fantastic, very educational and patient. He explained the whole process in easy to understand terms and even came over several times to further clarify some of our concerns. Great service. Bob who was actually in Costco was equally helpful. On our "install day" our tech, Gabe, even called prior to his arrival so we would be prepared. We really appreciated that. He was so professional, caring and respectful of us and our home. More appreciation. He fully explained the install process and how it would improve our water etc. He was so nice and we felt really comfortable having this "stranger" in our home. Not all service people are like that. He finished on time and cleaned everything up just like it was before he arrived. He also reassured us that if we had any problems just give Superior a call. More appreciation. We felt very fortunate to have Gabe as our Tech and you will too if you use Superior and of course don't forget to ask for Gabe!!! Superior Water & Air provided great service during an unexpected manufacturing defect from Rheem water heaters. We replaced our old water heater over the summer to avoid a situation where it broke we were without hot water. We installed a Rheem water heater based on a recommendation from Superior. Well, over the holidays the new water heater stopped working. We called and Superior sent over a technician that day. They determined that the Rheem unit had a faulty burner/combustion shut-off device. Superior had been servicing many Rheems with the same issue recently. Jacob waited on hold for a couple of hours to get through to Rheem to overnight the parts to fix the issue. However when they got here, Rheem had sent an incompatible controller/gas valve and burner. So, Jared from Superior solved the issue by going to Home Depot and buying a brand new Rheem hot water heater, and using the parts from that heater to fix my unit. We have hot water again because of their great service. I'm only giving four out of five stars because of Superior's recommendation to get a Rheem hot water heater in the first place. But I recognize that the manufacturer's defect was out of their control. I would recommend Superior Water & Air again because of their service attitude and ingenuity in problem solving. read more

I would not use this Superior Water & Air. My trust in how they conduct business is what has caused me to write a review. Jason, who was initially sent to fix my hot water heater at a price of $175.00, was able to get the pilot light re-lit, of which only stayed lit for a few hours before going back out. Jason suggested replacing the burner assembly unit with the water heater being 16 years old. He however did not have the part; so I wound going online and ordering the part. Once I received the new burner assembly unit, Jason came back out at no additional cost and installed the unit. Upon doing so, the pilot only stayed lit again for a few hours before going back out. At that point, Jason told me to not invest any additional money into my hot water heater and replace it due to its age. I however, was not ready to do that and spoke with Larry, a senior tech with Superior Water & Air to try and trouble shoot the problem. In the end, I was told to replace the hot water heater at a cost of $1,600.00. Having been told this, I conducted further research to see why the pilot was not staying lit; especially after having a new burner assembly unit installed by Jason. The only other possible issue could be a bad main control valve, of which is pretty rare, but it does happen. Upon learning this, I went ahead and ordered a new main control valve. Total cost in parts was only $225 for both the burner assembly unit and main control valve ( a far cry from $1,600.00). After I received the main control valve, I contacted another company, a friend of mine that I should've waited for initially, but was out of town and with my not having hot water, I went with Superior Water & Air based on reviews I had read online. To make a long story short, the pilot light was not staying lit after the burner assembly unit was replaced due to Jason not properly installing the new burner assembly unit with this becoming apparent when I had another company look at my water heater. My trust was really tested with Superior Water & Air pushing for me to replace the hot water heater when there was absolutely no need for it and things ultimately coming down to Jason not installing the new burner assembly unit correctly. With the new burner assembly unit now installed correctly by another company, my hot water heater runs just as it always has without issue. It honestly, makes me wonder as to whether or not things were sabotaged by Superior Water & Air's tech's to get me to replace my hot water heater, because it's something the company pushes for, because there's a lot more profit in completely replacing appliances than there is in simply replacing the parts when they are available. The fact that the water heater is 16 years old and there are parts still available tells me that the water heater obviously has longevity; otherwise parts would still not be made for it, as is the case with many newer products that are built to be replaced in 10 or so years. In addition, I have contacted Superior Water & Air requesting to speak with a manager regarding what I have outlined above, but have yet to hear back from a manager. My request would be a refund of the $175.00 that was paid to Superior Water & Air due to their not installing the burner assembly unit correctly and causing me to potentially think that I needed to completely replace my hot water heater when there was absolutely no need to do so. We just added granite countertops to our kitchen and when it came time to find a plumber we used Larry Wass at Superior Water and Air because I've been very satisfied with RO system for many years. Larry came and removed the old plumbing and returned after we were ready to put the Faucet, Insta Hot, new Disposal and new upgraded RO system in today... it was awesome. Larry made it look so easy to assemble all the lines and connectors properly in a professionally manageable way to declutter the area under my sink. Larry is definitely on our YES list if we ever need an excellent plumber. Thank you Larry for your undivided attention to detail to give us the best results to enjoy our new Water World.
