Beware these people are scammers! I was charged 37 for a cartridge that costs at retail price 18.99. They were friendly and answered every question I had, when it came to purchasing they told me 37 was the right price. Not only did they give me a false sense of security, they took advantage of my naivete. Pretty awesome smoke shop, I'm a regular for a few reasons. There's a terrific crew working there that maintains a nice balance of professionalism and being personable/joking with customers. They are open everyday of the year and keep long hours, I know that's not easy for a small business. They have really good selection, prices are typical for the San Antonio area, but they have a loyalty program that gives discounts. The sheer amount of variety in vapeable delta 8, thc-o, hhc and other products like Kratom, smart pills, sex pills is staggering. They carry more obscure stuff and are open to ordering things for you, especially if you come by regularly. I like that they take chances on new products so it's not the same 10 brands that you'll find at a lot of other smoke shops. Best smoke shop in SA, that I have found so far. I haven't been to the other locations but this location in particular has a great staff and variety. read more

Actually the best such shop I've ever been to. When we were younger we'd always go to Planet K for some reason; now I'm an absolute and devout convert to Supernova. They have the latest hours of any smoke shop I know of, in case you need something at the last minute. In my experience, all the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable about their products, and if you ask for advice or recommendations they are happy to provide them. The selection is huge, and they have some seriously high quality products in their inventory (which I would personally recommend if I weren't hoping to save more for myself). Pay them a visit if you're in the area and there's something you need. I'll bet you anything that when you arrive you find something you didn't know you needed. read more

I can consider this pretty bad service. When we moved out her my wife would rant and rave about supernova. She knows what I expect out of smoke shops. And the level of customer service I have to have in order to be a regular. Considering we both worked in the service industry (retail and restaurant) for almost 10 years a piece. But either way I would hope that this shop would do a better job. A week or two before Christmas, I made the move to quit smoking. So of course since I had been in there a few times for small stuff I figured why not. The guy at the callaghan location was helpful when I saw someone in there a few days before buying their first mod. So even though hazel sky was closer and cheaper I drove to supernova. To find out that location had just closed. trying to be loyal I drove over to the west ave location. They didn't have the color I wanted. But nbd I just grabbed one that would do. Grabbed some juice and a battery with some other small items. I specifically asked the guy behind the counter which battery was the best. Since apparently they were all the same price. He points to a green battery and says that's the best one. So I take it. And he puts it in and powers up the kit to make sure it's working all good. Everything seemed to work so I left. Was doing great for a few days. Even went back and bought another 100ml of juice. But within the first 10 days I had gone through an entire pack of coils. I watched everything possible and researched to ensure I was doing everything correctly. But I'm still running through these coils. So then I put I the t8 coil. I had been staying way from it because it just looks like it'll kill that 2ml tank pretty quickly. I put it in after priming the coil and then warmed up the coil. But once I got into the recommended wattage range it stopped hitting. Mod says check battery. I don't see anything physically wrong with the battery or the mod. So I put it back in and try again. Still same thing. Start to research. This specific battery that's "the best" has a well known issue of being rewrapped. So I assume that must be what it is. So now it's refusing to run certain coils and burning through others hella fast. So I take it to a battery store to have it tested. And it's definitely not pushing what it says it should be. So I call the shop. Because they should definitely know about this issue. And yea they're aware of it already! Seriously?! Then, instead of doing the right thing I'm offered to buy a new battery with no tax or an external charger. You serious?! Smoke to live is right down the street and sells the same batteries at the same price. And all there batteries come with a lifetime warranty through their store. So I bought a battery from another store. And external charger. But I still decide that a little battery isn't a huge deal. They did sell me my first vape and took care of me when they didn't have the nicotine level I preferred. And didn't remember it being crazy priced juice. So I then go to the location that I was told, by an employee of the West ave location, would have a large selection of 510 drip tips. I found a couple of tips and decided to look at some juices. I pretty much new what I wanted. When I asked about the price. I was told $26. My exact words were "oh dang. I really thought it was 20 bucks last time I got it." In my mind I'm thinking 6 bucks isn't huge. Maybe prices went up? Or maybe I got a deal because I bought a mod? Or maybe different flavors from this brand cost different amounts. Maybe I made a mistake and didn't remember correctly. Either way the guy at the register that I asked about the price proceeds to call the other store. As someone that's had the general manager role a few times I've done the same thing to please a customer. But while I'm standing there he tells someone at the west ave location that he's got a customer here complaining about price. Really?! So because I asked you the price and commented that I thought I paid less last time. you took it upon yourself to call the other store to verify. I'm a complaining customer. Even if you wanted to consider me a complaining customer, you should probably do so when the customer isn't standing right in front of view. That's a good way for a customer to feel as though you and your store couldn't care less even if I had a real complaint. But that's obviously true with how the battery issue worked out. So I just to write a review so that people understand what's gonna happen and how they'll be treated when purchasing a product from supernova. I understand mistakes happen. They happen to all of us. But to not do your absolute best to fix the issue. Or at least make it right by the customer, is just appalling when working in a retail store. That's based off of customer relations. And spending over $200 bucks within 2 -3 weeks from the first time I stepped in there, I don't think that getting good customer service is to much to ask for. read more

Although my critique is about the Callaghan Rd location, it wasn't an option; however they're a part of the chain. Alas, I'll leave it here. I'm aware that their policy is that once you leave the store there are no returns or exchanges, I think exceptions should be made for defective products. My mother purchased a water bubbler that is painted black. The problem is that when you use it, black paint gets all over your hands. Ridiculous! Now she doesn't want to use it. What a waste of money. Will not purchase anything from them again and we're huge vapors. read more

Went to the culebra location for a cigar and bought a $10 Gurkha Ghost (one of my favorite sticks) it was broken right in half and dried out. Even after I cut it at the break it burned fast and unevenly because it was dried out inside the humidor. read more
