The base wash went up from $5 to $8 and they no longer even offer the $20 wash/vacuum/windows package. Also, the staff before were super friendly and engaging and took a lot of ownership in their work, and now it is just an average to below average, overpriced car wash with very few options. The ownership has changed and the service have gone down hill ever since. The car wash does not wash the vehicle as good as it used to and the vacuums do not work well. Two people stand by payment kiosk trying to sell upgraded car wash rather than tend the facility's to make sure the vacuums are working correctly or scrub your windshield before entering the wash. This is now "Mister 21" Overly priced, no full details. They'll stand there with their iPads trying to sell you an overpriced 20$ tunnel wash. I told the kid all I wanted was a quick and cheap wash but he could not take that for an answer. After paying 9$!!!! for a tunnel wash, as I'm going into the tunnel, there is absolutely not a single sign or verbal direction to put my car in neutral, and take my foot off the brake, a lawsuit just waiting to happen. I used to go to this carwash regularly and get a $23 wash. Recently they have changed their procedure by removing the guys that did the pre-scrub on the front of the vehicle and windshield. Instead they have added two guys to hover over the self service pay machines. While i understand that some people may want or need the help at the machines, I DO NOT. Nor did i LIKE having them take over my purchase without even allowing me the possibility of doing it myself, or asking if i NEED help. My final displeasure at the machines is the pressure from the guys to buy more services. Because of the removal of the pre-scrub process, my car did not even get fully cleaned. It came out with the same bird crap it went in with. So because of my over all experience with their new customer service i will take my business elsewhere and suggest others do the same. read more

Joined the carwash club, it's not unlimited carwashes. It's limited to 1 per day. I joined because of love bug season. I drive 95 twice a day and car gets covered in bugs. But I can only was once. Don't advertise unlimited if it's not. read more

Rude workers. Instructions for wash unclear. They hit my car with their hands after they signaled to me to follow the instructions on the sign that said "neutral, foot off brake, hands off wheel." I did exactly that & they started yelling & made me feel like I did something bad or wrong. Terrible. Will never go back. Water spots on my car after the wash & I got the $12 wash package. Too busy for me too. Unorganized. I recommend upgrading to fully autonomous car washes because there obviously is no need people like these workers. Also, there leaves no room for human error or injury if there are no people involved. My family knows someone who worked for a car wash & got their finger cut off by a car wash. I've been to this car wash in the past & the exact opposite issue has happened. Many times they yelled at me to take my foot off the brake even though they were still right in front of me so I was naturally hesitant. I do not appreciate being yelled at after being told to do something that was signaled to me to do. Do not go here. You may just have a lawsuit on your hands. read more

Went to get car detailed w/hand wax a few days ago but their internet was down so we received a complimentary basic wash and I returned today to them telling me they aren't staffed enough to do a hand wax, they are under new ownership and are understaffed, & they haven't been doing hand wax for awhile...all of which were not mentioned when I expressed my desire to get a hand wax the day the internet was broken. As a student on a budget, the express wash service is perfect. The ultimate wax package for $15 has my car's exterior from body to rims looking like hours were put in my professional hands. If I didn't have my own vacuum at home, I would definitely take advantage of the free self service vacuums offered at the end of the wash cycle. I'm absolutely upset that they no longer offer the interior services or waxing. I have all of my cars on memberships and thought at first that they were just renovating and that was why they got rid of the interior services....which I have used for years. I just asked the kid today when they were going to come back since I haven't been able to wash the inside of my cars for months (I know...first world problems) and he said "Never." I asked why and he rudely said, "I don't know what you're getting at." I told him why they decided to do away with the employees (which I used to love listening to their cadences and silly yelling...it always made me feel like the staff always actually loved their jobs) and he said that "They looked at their numbers and 90% of their business was drive thru." I honestly don't know that I believe that! There was always a line in all three lanes and people waiting for their cars to be cleaned. I asked how to cancel my memberships and he said that "their servers were down and could not be canceled and to try again in two weeks or so". I tried calling both the Port Orange location and the LPGA and no one answers their phones and all of the voicemail boxes are full. And to another person's review....I had bird crap on my window too and had to go thru twice, ask the guy to scrub it (who looked miserable to be there and did a half ass job at that) and still left with the bird crap on my window. Horrible attitudes! The guy guiding your car into the wash needs a serious attitude adjustment... I was simply motioning if I was on line with the track to which he was overly sensitive to & freaked out with an attitude. I have a new AMG Mercedes & since its low to the ground I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to scrape anything. The manager was there & could have cared less about his employees attitude. I even expressed what had happened when I pulled around to the vacuums which was a complete waste of breath! He cared less! I come here all the time because the prices are unbeatable and the service is great. Most of the time I just drive through for the quick $5 wash, which for $5 is a heck of a deal. I've been here at least 30 times over the last few years, and I've never had a problem. And the free vacuums after the wash is a huge plus! read more

I have been a loyal customer of Express wash for 6 years that I have lived in Daytona Beach area. I have never had an issue until today. I was going through your wash with my 2018 ford F-150 and at the very end of the wash I heard a loud noise and the wash stopped. I was at the exit door and my wash was finished so I exited the wash. I immediately walked the perimeter of my vehicle and noticed my tail gate was down. upon closing it I notice the passenger side hem at the bottom corner was bent out. I summoned an employee and he brought manager (young tall black man) He was very nice and apologized, inspected the damage and stated he was going to look at the cameras to see what happened. After a few minutes another young man emerged (about 5'-10" gangley-skinny) a neatly trimmed beard with no mustache. I assumed he was a ODM or a supervisor, I have seen him many times before working . Much to my surprise he said that the car wash was not responsible I asked why and said the tail gate dropped, I said I was aware, he said that when it dropped it bent because it hyper extended. I said that is impossible first of all it has stop straps (tail gates are designed to drop free fall under their own weight) so there was no possibility that was true, I proceeded to drop the tailgate several times to prove that what he claimed was physically impossible. Then I asked why only one side bent and not both? He said he did not know. Then I asked if it bent from hyper extending then why did the STEEL stop cable not snap and what could it have bent on, he had no idea and offered no explanation. There is nothing obstructing the corner and nothing to hit or bend against. What took place next is what is inexcusable. He said smiled and said IM NOT REPLACING YOUR TAIL GATE, first off at that point I did not ask him too and his tone and demeanor where unprofessional and elevated. The conversation escalated because he then said go hit it with a rubber mallet i'm doing nothing. (VERBATIM) I stated want this taken care of, your car wash just damaged my vehicle and your going to do nothing? The young black gentleman even rolled his eyes in disbelief. I'm not sure what happened I was in the truck they refused to let me see the video footage and I said I was calling the police, he said dont bother they wont do anything and I would be wasting my time and walked away. I am still in shock over here and not sure what to do next. I will be contacting my insurance company and we can let an adjuster determine fault. There were alot of ways this could have been handled and this was not one of them. I just rolled in like I always do several times a month with that exact truck and I have never had a problem. Your employees are usually polite respectful and do a wonderful job, I am disappointed deeply by what happened and my truck is now damaged. I have never had an issue with your company and am literally speechless. I would appreciate someone reaching out to me if there is a different way to get this dealt with. read more

This place has great prices on very good car washes. The staff is efficient and thorough and the wait times are minimal. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is the quality of the wait area. The indoor waiting room is where the bathrooms are and it reeks of... Bathroom smells. I mean one of the chairs is literally three feet from the bathroom door. The doors are always left open so there's no avoiding the stench. It makes me kind of sick but every time I've been outside there have been bees flying around which I would rather not get stung by. read more

I purchased the Superwash Express club package and have had nothing but problems. 2nd time I tried to use it, it said I needed to renew, so I did, 3rd time I tried to use it I waited for over 15 minutes for the gate to open, today was the last time, I waited for 15 minutes for the person in front of me to go through then it said I exceeded the number of car washes. This is my 2nd one for March. I believe I have been ripped off. Now I want to cancel and can't located the cancellation notice. This is not a time saver. I've been going here for years and have always been happy with their service but recently the quality seems to be dropping off. I took my wife's Cadillac Escalade in for the hand wax full service & when they called me out saying it's ready I walked around & noticed they never cleaned the inside of the doors, back by the back door, the running boards were dirty & several other areas. After I said something the one guy went around wiping those areas but I shouldn't have had to say anything, and it wasn't much better after. I figured it was just an off day so I returned with my truck the next day for the same hand wax service & they never even touched the roof. No wax at all. This time I just left, went home & did it myself. Very disappointed!!! They must assume that no one can see the tops of their trucks & SUV's like cars so pass whenever they can. Unacceptable!
