The other day I decided to visit the place and see what was going on. Wanted to pickup a couple things anyway. Very clean on the inside. I interacted with I think 3 or 4 people. Being my first time there or to any dispensary so I wasn't sure where to go exactly and they were awesome! Sadly, weed in CT isn't worth the cost recreationally speaking anyway. And they were the yellow ones! The price beneath where they were located said $2.79! When I rang them up, $5.79!! I called an associate over & it was the same person from earlier! She saw the price of $2.79 under where they were located. Called over the manager on duty, Gavin. Gavin looked completely aggravated & disinterested that he had to deal with someone. Gavin told me that the price is $5.79 & the the red cherries are 2.79. I explained about the pricing LAWS in Ct, where as it is Not the consumers responsibility to make sure prices are correct. I would've been happy paying the 2.79 but the LAW states that I should get it free of charge. Gavin asked me if I wanted them, when I said "only at the price listed" Gavin grabbed the cherries from in front of me & tried walking away. I asked for the store number, & his district managers name. He gave me the the store number & refused to give me the district managers name! Guess what Gavin! I called the Aldi customer service number & now your District Manager knows! You are RUDE, Unprofessional, & should NOT be working around others in a public setting! In my opinion Gavin is a DETRIMENT to the good name & reputation that Aldi's has.

I came in for some new protein powder and a shaker cup. I was quickly persuaded into the, "buy-one-get-one half-off," deal they were offering on most items. I ended up with 4 different jars of powder, (with the deal, I figured I might as well stock up and save $ in the long run, right?... wrong.) After ringing up at the counter I found out that the total was nearly $300, if it hadn't exceeded that number already. A little more persuading conversation, and the next thing I know I'm agreeing to sign up for the GNC PRO membership-- only because I was told that it would offer more savings on my current purchase, and provide $40 worth of points on my account for the future, (basically an entire jar of powder,) so, why not. So, after spending $40-$50 EXTRA to sign up for the GNC PRO membership, and being told, "it basically pays for itself if you sign-up now because of the points you'll receive from your purchase," I still have a total of $260+, whatever, at least I have a free jar of powder to look forward to. What I wasn't informed of is those points on my account worth $40 will expire, exactly one month from my purchase. That seems like something important to explain to a new sign-up, but I guess not. I also didn't get my PRO-member monthly mystery-box, which conveniently, GNC did away with the same time I sign up. So, no 'free' goodies for me, just more, "exclusive member discounts." The store worker did right by me and offered me some freebies, but GNC as a corporation are just sleezy and should be avoided. Personally, I don't know any normal gym-goer who's going to use 4 entire jars of powder in a single month, but apparently GNC thinks a lot of people will-- because even after speaking with the GNC support number about my lost points and un-received box, I was told the best they can do for me now is a measly 150 points credited to my pro account, equal to roughly $5. Keep it. And don't expect to get another dollar from me. Find a small business and support them, GNC doesn't deserve your money.

When I got a follow-up email and responded to that, they tried to 'dress me down' for being unprofessional, saying that the email address they specified to use to contact them 'wasn't monitored'. Which makes me wonder why they would even say to use it in the first place, and that I am unprofessional?? So, after I asked them to stop emailing me, they again sent an email confirming yet ANOTHER order for someone else today. Apparently asking to be removed and not contacted again isn't 'professional'.
