Dr. Osuala and his staff are very courteous and warm. The office is very clean and comfortable . I had a wisdom tooth removed and it was the best experience I've ever had with a dentist (also comparing to deep cleaning) I was very nervous and scared based on a past experience and horror stories about wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Osuala made me feel so relaxed from the time he introduced himself. I felt no pain during the procedure. Just pressure. I was so amazed. He extracted my upper right wisdom tooth like MAGIC! I did not even realize the tooth was out until he said we are done. I was preparing for the worse. Instead, the procedure ended with me laughing. If I had the ability to give 0 stars I would. My family and I became patients in September 2022. During my first cleaning appointment it was shared that I would need a deep cleaning (although I had kept up with my cleanings and had never heard this before). I accepted what was shared and asked to be scheduled for a deep cleaning. The request was shared with insurance in November 2022. Two months after my appointment! I continued to contact the office and asked if the deep cleaning appointment still needed to be scheduled. I was told no, and scheduled for my 6 months cleaning appointment. At that appointment it was shared with me again that I needed the deep cleaning. I informed them (since apparently all of the staff is now new) of the previous incident and the information that was shared with me. They went ahead and looked into why the next steps weren't followed with the insurance. They resubmitted the paperwork. A few days later I scheduled the appointment for the deep cleaning and requested a call back from the person who handles billing & also the owner to discuss my experience. When I did not receive a call back, I contacted the office again to make the request as I had things I wished to discuss prior to my appointment. Long story short, I have scheduled a new appointment with another dentist and I am still awaiting that call UPDATE: I have given them a third chance and truly regret doing so. After the previous experience, I was contacted by the new person in charge of payment. We sat down and came up with an agreement on how I would obtain my services in a manner that's best for me. Unfortunately I attended my appointment today and was disappointed again. Overall the staff at this establishment are just RUDE. They do not honor their word, they do not listen to the patient and they just simple do not care. I would not recommend this business no matter WHO the owner hires. Despite me continuously explaining to them that I had new insurance. They were adamant about charging my old insurance since it appeared as "active" on their end. I usually hate dentist but honestly this was the best one I've been to. Had a tooth pulled out and didn't even hurt. I thought I would have to call out of work but it only took 20 minutes and got to go along with my day .Nice people that helped me the throughout the whole process I really just found a new dentist!! read more

After reading some of these comments , I'm not sure that these few people with negative comments went to the same place that I went to. I had the most amazing experience at this facility. The first time I went they did a few fillings and then told me what work needed to be done .I then sat down with the office manager? who then went over everything that needed to be done, my insurance, what it covered and what I would need to pay to cover my part . When I came back for the procedure i was a little nervous as I usually am before any procedure but it was explained to me about what exactly would take place, Dr. Bedes Osuala was great it was basically pain free( for a dental procedure)which was an extraction and an implant. The office is clean all the staff are extremely friendly and professional. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Great experience read more

I've had an unpleasant experience with Supreme Dental. The practice has owed us a little over $300 since November. I have made several attempts to get my money. Each time is something different. In December I was asked for the card it was paid with and I provided that information. I was told it will take 3-4 weeks for the refund to be put back onto the card. No refund. January, I inquired again. I was told the card number was written down wrong. No one bothered to reach out to me to get the proper information. My husband provided the card info again. No refund. We are now in February and I've spoken with the Office Manager. I was told the refund has been approved and she had to confirm with the owner whether we would receive our refund via check or back on the card and she will call back to inform me of the decision. That was a few weeks ago. I called today and was on hold for over ten minutes just to be told again she had to confirm with the owner what form of payment will we receive. Never saying when will we receive our monies that are owed to us. We have great insurance! for over 20 years we've NEVER had to come out of pocket for anything not even braces. This is the first establishment that always has their hand out. I've heard other patients complain about the same thing but never paid attention until it happened to me. Supreme Dental is quick to take your money but slow to refund your money! The Staff are nice and I don't want to take away from them. The wait is an issue because if your appointment is at a certain time why am I waiting so long. They push to milk your insurance to the max and have a dental plan that will cost you a pretty penny with out of pocket costs. I was there for a cleaning and the person that did it asked me about a bridge or implants. I specifically told her I wasn't interested. She went ahead and submitted to the insurance to see if it's covered when I told her I was not interested. They do great work but it isn't worth all the headaches and run around. read more

The staff, the professionals were all great. The location was clean and Covid guidelines were followed. I had an emergency, unable to swallow, and a toothache, on side of my mouth, that turned out an extraction of my wisdom tooth. It took less than 15 min and they took out 2 wisdom teeth. They accommodated me and I was grateful cause I was in pain. Would definitely go again and make them my primary. read more

I came in for a long overdue (as in years) checkup and found out I am in need of quite a lot of work (two root canals, several "refillings" to replace aging fillings.) My wife is the one who researched and found Dr. Bedes Osuala and Supreme Dental Associates through numerous excellent reviews. I'm happy to say that the reviews are correct. The office is clean and organized, the office staff and dental assistants are all professional and friendly, and the office has what seems to be the latest equipment and technology. Dr. Osuala was a consummate professional and very charming. I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency and attention to detail of my first root canal here. The last time I had a root canal was over twenty years ago and the procedure and latest equipment used by Dr. Osuala eclipses that last experience. Virtually pain free as compared to my last one. And Dr. Osuala found four nerves as opposed to the normal three nerves in my tooth and he carefully made sure to address all four. I never thought I would say this but I actually now look forward to my dental appointments. Thank you Dr. Osuala and Supreme Dental Associates staff! read more

The dentist and dental staff are great. However, beware of being charged hidden fees after your services have been completed. I was told my insurance would cover 100% of my deep cleaning. I went in for the first cleaning came out to make my next appointment only to be told that there are "office fees" which are not covered by the insurance. When I asked for a breakdown of the fees they were not able to provide me with one. I paid the fees and decided not to return again. read more

This place was definitely a five-star experience in every way. Dr. Osuala truly is a doctor well versed in his profession.  I found Supreme Dental as I was walking down Springfield Avenue one evening. Based on the Google reviews, every patient seemed to be highly satisfied with Dr Osuala and his amazing team. Review after review after review, the patients had nothing but high praise for Dr. Osuala. So  I called to make an appointment and the lady who answered the phone was very friendly. She told me the uninsured special price ($175.00) which I could live with. But I felt at this price, for a general check up, x ray and cleaning, I would definitely be a prospective target for upselling. This is a business first, and I have always believed that dentists especially are in the business of selling and in most cases--upselling. So I went in optimistic but also with the expectation I would be sold something, something expensive and unnecessary. The sitting or waiting area is very well kept. Very well appointed. Nothing is out of place. The floors are spotless. The walls are neatly appointed. All of the receptionists are beautiful and smiling. Within the first 30 seconds of checking in, I was asked how I would be paying--cash or charge. No work was going to be done without me parting from my $175.00. Once I paid, I will say, there was quite a wait. A long one. About an hour. No worries really. I had my headphones and Amazon Prime videos to pass the time. So I am called back. Amanda was my X-Ray tech. She was very nice. She took my X rays and I was then ushered into the hall to be placed against the Orthopantomograph OP300. This is a 3 in 1 imaging machine that provides panoramic imaging of the mouth. I have seen one before. I am not sure how necessary this procedure is but I know that it has to elevate the bill considerably. Any X -ray is not cheap. They are very, very expensive and I am sure, a great way for doctors to further bilk the insurance company or empty your pockets. Let me make something clear. I was fully in line with all that Dr. Osuala's office had scheduled me for. I believe he is honest and fair. His staff was amazing. But this does not change the fact that I am still skeptical of this profession as a whole. I think it is one where to maximize profits you have to eventually find a sweet point where you can press the envelope as to what is needed and what is NOT needed but if I press the urgency of the procedure hard enough the customer will be convinced it is necessary and he will purchase it.  So my X rays are done and now I am waiting in the super comfortable vibrating chair and Shume my hygienist comes in. She was really the highlight of the visit. She had excellent bedside manners. I think if she ripped my teeth out with no anesthesia, I would be smiling. Some people have great bedside manners others lack it completely. So she goes through the traditional cleaning process of scraping, rinsing, spitting. Nothing out of the ordinary and nothing painful. She did however reiterate the need for the deep cleaning the doctor had told me about in a prior session about 20 minutes earlier. This deep cleaning, according to Dr. Osuala, was necessary to attend to the nether regions of my teeth and since I had braces, this procedure would be even more valuable to me. A regular cleaning just could not address the complexities and nuances that a deep cleaning would tackle. But the only thing that rings out in my ear is the price. The procedure is done in quads which means a total of four procedures. Cash or credit. Out of pocket. Folks, we simply take things like dental care for granted. It was hard enough parting with $175.00 for the visit, To think that I was being sold another procedure that would set me back over $400.00 is crazy. Poor people. The homeless. I am a compassionate person and these people are for the most part, out of luck. I am a working man without insurance and I must be very prudent when assessing what is a necessary medical procedure and what can be passed over. I know it is a business but they sell this stuff so nonchalantly. At this writing, I am still up in the air as to whether or not I am going to get this deep cleaning. I had a wonderful experience here. The cost for my services were on par with the other dentists in the area. Dr. Osuala was a great doctor who spent considerable time speaking with me while I was in the chair. He wanted to know why I came to him. I was impressed and I was highly compelled to write a positive review for Supreme Dental. I think he is professional, fair, honest, and treats his staff with respect. Everyone seems to be happy. Even if I chose not to go with the deep cleaning, I will return for my future exams and cleaning as long as I am living in the area. read more

However I went there for a tiny chip tooth on my right front.. She ends up shaving all around the front of my top two front teeth! I had no idea why she needed to shave or smooth out a tooth that had nothing to do with why i was there. The chip falls out 250$ later in 2 months. I go back to fix it AGAIN. a male doctor shaves the entire bottom down to make it smooth, no chip but he ROUNDED the bottom.. While he was doing it he made a LOUD scraping sound like he made a mistake and then starred at his nurse angerily like it was her fault he did it. He then asks "can you live with it ?" THEN ANOTHER 150 THEY CHARGE ME.. Im afraid to let them touch my mouth again! Now it looks terrible.. Since the first doctors unecessary SCRAPPING AT MY TOP TWO FRONT TEETH FOR NO REASON. MY TOP RIGHT FRONT TOOTH IS TURNING YELLOW!! And from the second doctor ITS NOW MISSHAPED!@! i dont want to smile anymore!! Ive been complimented on my teeth my whole life and I work in entertainment and modeling.. I want them to fix this but everytime i go there it gets WORSE. DO NOT COME HERE THEY WILL RUIN YOUR TEETH AND TAKE ALL YOUR MONEY. THEY CAUSE YOU MORE PROBLEMS SO YOU KEEP COMING BACK! They will very kindly and politely RUIN YOUR TEETH. One of the most unprofessional establishments in the dentistry field. I had an 1000 appointment. I arrived at exactly 1000, waited until the receptionist called to take my temperature, sat down, and waited to be seen. I had an appointment for a tooth extraction and waited patiently. When I 1st entered there were maybe 3 people ahead of me, but one after one they were taken care of while I continued to wait. I saw patient after patient come in and complain how they needed to be seen now because they "had to go back to work". I witnessed this happen 3 times and i did not say a word. at approximately 1045, the receptionist looked up at me and told me to hold on. She came back a minute later and stated that the doctor would be with me in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later at 1100, a nurse comes out and says that the doctor would be with me in 5 seconds. 5 minutes later at approximately 1105 I got up to leave. I tell the receptionist that I'm leaving and she says that they are getting the room ready. I HAVE ALREADY BEEN WAITING AN HOUR, and now I'm expected to wait even longer for God knows how long for someone to NOW clean the room. This is unacceptable on so many levels. Time is something that you cannot get back once lost and to not even communicate what the issue with the long wait was is a terrible business practice. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, nor would i suggest to go if you have ANYTHING planned with your day. Even with an appointment, you will NOT be he priority, nor will you feel like your interest in their establishment matters. I am highly disappointed as a black man, who attempts to support our people with the little that we do have as a community only to be treated like my time is meaningless. read more
