I'm so disappointed by this business's betrayal. I hired them to make the dessert and cake for my wedding. I rented their fake 5-tiered cake and returned it back in good condition and on time. There were small raindrops on the fondant of the big tier cake (it was raining all day on Wednesday), but everything else looked great. Instead of giving me the deposit back, they completely disrespected me with such ugly attitude and decided to not give me back the full deposit. I was shocked because I hired them for 3 events during my wedding planning process and I was referring them out to my friends and family. In addition, the wedding sheet cakes that they delivered were super dry and not exactly what we requested, but I didn't complain about that to them. I spent over $2000 on this company's business to support them and for them to act sleezy about the deposit is so mean. $280 is not a lot of money but it is the principle and completely disrespectful to be treated like we committed a crime over a few water droplets on a fake cake. I am going to let my friends and family know about my experience and hope you all be aware. read more

i bought a cake for my sister's birthday from supreme kakes... this was not my first time patronizing this business the cakes in the past were delicious but the one i received 07/17/2026 was everything but delicious it was drenched in sugar water and almond essence. totally inedible. i called the very next day and was told to bring back what was left and she would issue a refund when i got there everything went very unprofessional ,rude, argumentative and borderline assault. i was told to shut up and never show my face around there again... this was from the owner and his wife... and the only response should have been maam im sorry for the inconvenience here's your money and please give us a shot again......i wonder if i were hispanic would this ever have happened.....beware i will not ever shop here again and im also sharing my experiences with friends family and coworkers. read more

My daughter chose the white cake with raspberry amaretto filling that was absolutely delicious. My daughter let them know exactly what she had in mind for her cake and they sketched it for her to her specifications. The day of the event, her cake was delivered and it was beautiful and exactly what she wanted. I ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday. We had 45-50 guests. Supreme Kakes recommended to get two tiered cake. So I did. They even suggested Oreo flavor for the top. I was happy with the look of the cake when I picked it up. But then during the party, some guests were excited to try the Oreo cake but. It was so hard to cut!! It was NOT a cake. I have absolutely no words for how amazing Veronica and her entire team. My wedding cake was an absolute hit. I had an insane, complicated vision for our Wedding Cake, and they made it happen and executed it to perfection. (Look at the pictures) It is basically a mix of my husband and I, which is half Marvel Superheroes and half Geode (Crystals). I am not that big of a fan of cake, however, Supreme Kakes is the only bakery that has the cake flavor I love, which is Dulce de Leche and Bavarian Cream (it is do DIE FOR, TRUST ME). They were on time with delivery, and installed my toppers on site. They even provide a box for the cake topper to take home. Their quality of service and execution is absolutely excellent, and I highly recommend them to everyone, especially brides that want something unique and of quality. If you are not sure what you want yet, they have a whole entire showroom of examples you can look at, and their team is creative and have great ideas and can walk you through it during your cake tasting. Even though it was a short time to plan and only theme colors to go with, Supreme Kakes made it easy for me with the perfect design. I was working on a tight budget, but they worked with me to make sure that I get the best quality of cake with the amount of budget I have. On the day of the event, they have delivered the cake and desserts at the requested time. The cake looked gorgeous and the desserts, scrumptuous, and it doesn't stop there. When I picked up the cake, it did not resemble the design I had chosen for my birthday cake. This bakery touts its designs, experience, and portfolio in doing so it paved the way for both high prices and high expectations. The owner overpromised, underdelivered, and overcharged for a small cake. Had it been a gorgeous cake, I wouldn't bicker over the experience, but it failed to meet my expectations and the design we agreed on. She charged me nearly $300.00 for a two tiered fondant cake for 40 people. The worst part is the cake design had so-so to average looks, falling short of the elegant yet simple design we discussed and agreed upon. A photo was left behind for the baker to have a visual reference. My design was given to a new baker who was wearing a dark blue shirt and a black apron; it was a very masculine look. I can tell later that he took artistic liberty in the design of my cake and gave it a masculine vibe just through how he decorated it. The blue was 3-4 times darker than agreed upon; it had black lines, and silver accent colors. The black and silver were not in the original design!! I wasn't asking him or the manager to improvise or surprise me with new design elements; we had agreed on the design already, and I wanted exactly what was in the photograph!!! She's been baking cakes for well over 5 years to know how to properly design, deliver cakes. Her name and reputation are on the line when her staff bakes for her. And in this case, the decorator failed to due the justice design. Supreme Kakes has been family run primarily over the years. From what I observed at my cake tasting appointment, they've hired 3-5 people who aren't relatives. The manager/co-owner is quite a micromanager. Her assistants need her to approve things, need her to quote cake prices. My cake consultant left frequently and for extended periods of time to get the managers approval on design and price. She was better off with us than away from us. The owner seems to quote from the sky. There's no rhyme or reason to it. No explanation behind the hours, time, skill, ingredients, etc to factor into the price. Here's my personal example. ... When I explained the design I wanted, my cake consultant went off to get the design approved and request a price quote: she quoted $495 for a two tiered cake, with fondant, for 40 people. I negotiated with her a second time and she lowered her price to $295. The design was gorgeous. The occassion was special. The price seemed worth it so I signed the contract and paid in full. At that rate, I definitely expected high quality work. When I picked up the cake I was disappointed with how it looked; it was futile to dispute it with the attendant who rapidly packaged it up with me for he was not the decorator nor the owner to make amends on the matter. I wish I had read all of the yelp reviews before my purchase. My experience is strikingly similar to Tia's W at Supreme Kakes. This experience irritated me so much that I considered requesting a complete refund for the cake. My family is quick to console me that the cake was decent, but I wasn't going for a decent cake I was going for extraordinary! This bakery with so much "experience" seems to have gotten sloppy with their work and forgotten that their cakes are the centerpiece for special occasions. Supreme Kakes made my wedding cake for earlier this month. I had about three tastings with other bakeries. I knew this was the one after the tasting began. She gave very generous size portions. Her cake was very moist and not too sweet. My wedding cake was very very good and exceeded my expectations. There was a couple things that disappointed me. The cake was so moist that it fell apart after we began to cut. I had strawberry cheesecake for my top and bottom layers and Oreos and cream for the center layer. The Oreos and cream slices were so moist they were almost wet. Also, the design wasn't exactly what we talked about. I had a picture of a cake with a scrolling design with which I wanted to replace with rosettes but my final cake wasn't exactly like the picture. I blame that mostly on myself for not having a final meeting with the baker. But would I choose her again? ABSOLUTELY! Cake is to die for. Also had an assorted dessert table. Since then , we have ordered cakes from this bakery for other special occasions. Most recently was just last week for our wedding. This place has gone downhill but the prices have gone uphill. I've been buying birthday cakes once or twice a year for the past 9 years. They used to do some very nice cake designs for a reasonable cost, but now they're just OK and cost a lot more than they did just a year ago. We will not be buying from them again. 1. Last year, our birthday cake tasted like it had been stored in a refrigerator for a few days. It was disappointing but we figured it was a fluke. 2. Earlier in the year, we ordered a cake and specifically said no fruit inside, but there were strawberries. Imagine what would have happened if someone had allergies! Recently, we bought a regular 9" birthday cake for my daughter's 21st birthday. They used to cost about $30-$40, this time it cost $50. It said "Happy 21th Birthday!" How the heck do you write 21th? They've declined significantly the last couple of years. It's a real disappointment because their cakes used to taste great and look nice. VERY dissatisfied with this company. Story goes a little something like this: Back in October 2015 I got an email advertisement from Supreme Kakes for a dessert table. It was your choice of two dessert tables with full decor and setup etc. (normally a $1600 deal for $500). We paid the $500 in October..then 2 months go by and we never get a call (even after numerous attempts to schedule a time to come out and taste/plan for so mentioned tables). Two weeks before my wedding we decided to stop into the store to force the planning on them. We were told we couldn't get a refund because the check was not to Supreme Kakes but was actually to chef Adam Longoria..they couldn't assist us in any way and said they don't make anything for these tables. Why would they advertise under their name when it was for a contracted chef..and fail to mention this to paying customers? That has shady and scam written all over it. Finally we were able to get ahold of this so called chef and he was an absolute joke. Never got promised photos of the table he planned for us, never got the ordered candies, never got setup, never got fire centerpiece for smores bar, never got customer service, never got anything! Please stay farrrr away from this chef. Although this isn't a direct review of supreme Kakes, I feel like they are responsible to make this right when it is sold under their name. DO NOT GET YOUR CAKE HERE! So I sat down with the cake lady and I wanted to have my cake spray painted gold. She charged me an extra $20 for it to be spray painted. When I came to pick up the cake, I was very disappointed! My whole cake was white! I asked for gold spray paint. I asked for the 20$ refund back. The workers are very polite but over charged for the cake. It was very average looking. An 8 inch round cake for about 90 bucks! Supreme Kakes was a no-brainer because, well, it came with a wedding package we got from Sweetwater Country Club as part of our wedding. I couldn't be more ecstatic that they were tied into the cost because I was not one bit disappointed in working with them. They made the process as easy as possible and our consult with the owner couldn't have been more pleasant. She listened to exactly what we wanted, drew out diagrams for the wedding and grooms cakes we ordered and gave us a few ideas of her own. And, of course, the part I was most excited for was the cake tasting (woo!), where I think we tried at least 20 different flavors (I know I can't remember them all in writing this right now), but the stand outs, which also happened to be the ones we went with were the italian creme and the dark chocolate for the groom's cake, both of which we did in fondant. Other flavors included almond (another favorite of mine), strawberry, orange, and classic vanilla and chocolate of course. The only disappointing part about the tasting was that the cake itself was a little dry, but at least the flavors were all there. A few weeks before the wedding though, we were looking to cut down on costs wherever we could (yeahhh, we had gone over budget on a couple of things, so I was gonna take what I could get!), and with a few suggestions on how, we were able to cut down on the cost of our cake. Don't be afraid to ask, brides and grooms to be. That's the #1 lesson I learned from wedding planning: you don't know until you ask! On the day of, when it counts, the cakes were spot on, dead on delectable! I mean, moist, rich, not-to-sweet, flavored, heavenly goodness on my fork on our wedding day. All of our guests attested to how delicious the cakes were. I couldn't have been happier. And it looked fantastic too! I had a white fondant 4-tiered cake, with off-white pearlescent icing piped (is that what the word is?) onto every other layer of my cake. For the layers without piping, she wrapped the teal ribbon to the base of these layers, just like she drew out and just like we discussed. Yep, I was a happy bride for sure. And yes it's true, they will make you a replica of the top layer of your wedding cake on your one year anniversary for FREE. No eating gross, frost-bitten cake here! Hooray! read more

This review is from 2017, but we are ordering from them again, so needed to do another shout out! We got married in Oct 2017 and used Supreme Kakes for the bride and grooms cake. There was a promo at the time that we would also get a bridal shower cake for free (standard sheet cake) AND they remake your wedding topper for your anniversary vs. you having to freeze it. I wanted to have the same flavors as my wedding cake for the bridal shower which was amaretto cake, amaretto and raspberry filling, buttercream frosting - and when I said I needed more amaretto, they delivered! TO DIE FOR FLAVOR! So my husband goes to pick up the bridal shower cake... and... they made the topper instead! LOL! I laughed, but he freaked out. They told him they could try to bake a new one (there was no time tho), or he could just take a ready-made one in addition to the topper that was a year early. The ready-made cake we picked was the italian cream with buttercream. YALL. that thing was destroyed - great flavor, moisture, texture, just fabulous all around. Now for the wedding. The bridal cake was again made to PERFECTION. My husband had ordered their oreo cake for his grooms cake - and that thing was GONE in 60 SECONDS, all the guests LOVED it. In hindsight, I should have ordered less bridal cake since we did the order for the number of invites - when really, only half the guests stay until cake. The only person to advise us of this was the day-of coordinator on the day of the wedding LOL. lesson learned (for yall, not me, this marriage is rock solid!). it was a breeze to order our free anniversary topper, and it was again so delicious!! Now we are having a baby shower May 2019, and we are going for the gold again - OREO CAKE FOR THE WIN! I would order from them every single time for a cake AND for their customer service. read more
