We picked up a cake for a baby shower and it was awesome, but the other cakes... Holy cow. Truly amazing anything you want looks like they can handle it.

We were looking for a bakery to make the cake for our daughters Sweet Sixteen birthday. We attended a tasting and were thrilled with the selection of cake flavors. My daughter chose the white cake with raspberry amaretto filling that was absolutely delicious. My daughter let them know exactly what she had in mind for her cake and they sketched it for her to her specifications. The day of the event, her cake was delivered and it was beautiful and exactly what she wanted. Her friends all told her the cake was delicious and there was no cake left after the event because everyone wanted more! I would highly recommend this bakery to handle the cake for your special event.

I ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday. We had 45-50 guests. Supreme Kakes recommended to get two tiered cake. So I did. They even suggested Oreo flavor for the top. I was happy with the look of the cake when I picked it up. But then during the party, some guests were excited to try the Oreo cake but. It was so hard to cut!! It was NOT a cake. It was a STYROFOAM!! I paid for edible two tier cake, NOT A CAKE WITH STYROFOAM!! I called Supreme Kakes. They told me that they will take care of this and call me back. I waited a week. And called them again a week later. They said again, they will call me back.. No CALLS AT ALL. I am very disappointed at their customer service.

Cupcake Wedding Cake- 4 different cupcake flavors

I want to especially commend Supreme Kakes (Julian). They provided a beautiful and delicious cupcake wedding cake. Everyone was blown away by the look of it and thought it was presented/displayed very well. And in addition, it was delicious, all of it, not just one flavor but all 4 cupcake flavors. Thank you Supreme Kakes for adding to the success of our special day.

Best bakery ever! I ordered a custom cake from them the DAY BEFORE the event, and they were able to knock it out of the park! First of all, the person I talked to on the phone is so incredibly nice! Very friendly, super accommodating, and just overall a fantastic and kind person! I came by the next day to pick up the cake and it was absolutely stunning! They truly did such an amazing job on such short notice, were super kind about the last-minute request, and made the best looking cake ever! On top of all that, the cake (red velvet) was SOOO GOOD; the perfect texture, great taste, and just the best! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone looking for a great tasting dessert, kind staff, and talented decorators!

I don't think Empanadas are supposed to look like this...

First off the food was slow, I had a door dash driver who expected more tip because he waited at restaurant almost 45min. To top it off, the food was soggy looking. I got the Shepard's pie and the empanadas which supposedly were popular, but tasted old and oily plus my stomach still doesn't feel right. I normally don't write reviews much less bad ones since my standards aren't that high, but wow it's like they didn't even try with my order. Nothing has ever made me wish I had just gotten Taco Bell instead more than this place. I know it's really a cake place and I shouldn't judge it too hard on it's savory foods, but the quality was just really disappointing. I only gave it 2 stars cause I feel bad for giving 1, but yeah for sure not going back.

I have absolutely no words for how amazing Veronica and her entire team. My wedding cake was an absolute hit. I had an insane, complicated vision for our Wedding Cake, and they made it happen and executed it to perfection. (Look at the pictures) It is basically a mix of my husband and I, which is half Marvel Superheroes and half Geode (Crystals). I am not that big of a fan of cake, however, Supreme Kakes is the only bakery that has the cake flavor I love, which is Dulce de Leche and Bavarian Cream (it is do DIE FOR, TRUST ME). They were on time with delivery, and installed my toppers on site. They even provide a box for the cake topper to take home. Their quality of service and execution is absolutely excellent, and I highly recommend them to everyone, especially brides that want something unique and of quality. If you are not sure what you want yet, they have a whole entire showroom of examples you can look at, and their team is creative and have great ideas and can walk you through it during your cake tasting. They went above and beyond my expectations and are worth every penny and more!!! I can't wait to get my anniversary cake from them and every other occasion for that matter!

Wish I had a better review because I was told by a fellow amazing retired baker that I should give it a go. Ordered a 6 inch white cake with a raspberry filling & buttercream icing. Not good at all. Icing was ok. Cake itself was dry and very plain tasting. Would not recommend. For the price ($65) I could have gotten a better Cake at HEB or another bakery.

Wedding cake from February 2018 - beautiful and tasty, pic doesn't do it justice.

Supreme Kakes made us the most delicious wedding cake! We chose alternating tiers of Italian Cream and Lemon. They delivered to our midtown reception venue without any issues - they were actually the first vendor there, worked out great! The cake was so yummy and beautiful. Our guests are still giving us compliments. Also, the design we chose was simple, beautiful, and executed perfectly. One table of guests were trying to guess if our cake was real or fake, lol. Advice: Go to the open house! This was really a great way to try all the flavors.

Initially wrote this review on google but I think it's only fair to share this awesome place with my fello yelpers!! This cake shop saved my plans for my baby sisters birthday!!! I called them after being disappointed by another bakery and literally having her bday party the very NEXT DAY!! They were able to prepare and design me a BEAUTIFULL and creative cake in her favorite color that even I myself could not believe when I saw it Bcz of how last minute it was!!! The customer service I received here was out of this world. They were so concerned in making sure the cake was perfect and tht she would love it as if she were their relative too!! I am so happy I took a chance and called this gem of a place and I will ALWAYS BE BACK! If I'm blessed to be a bride someday I know where I will go to get my cake made. She was so happy and excited by her pretty Cake and let me just tell u all that the TASTE was amazing!! I mean absolutely phenomenal. Everyone kept asking me where on I got this cake from! It was soo moist, delicious, icing was the perfect level of sweetness. Sooooooo so so so so good!!! There was not a a crumb left over which was disappointed cz I was looking forward to taking a slice home. I'm addicted to chocolate but vanilla is my sisters fav and honestly Ive never had Vanilla cake that I loved THIS much. Wow...

Cakes and desserts looking really good.

Supreme Kakes was recommended to us by our venue for my sister's suprise birthday party . At first, I was very skeptical because I have used other cakeries/bakeries who have received high recommendations, but fell out short when I used them. Not Supreme Kakes. Even though it was a short time to plan and only theme colors to go with, Supreme Kakes made it easy for me with the perfect design. I was working on a tight budget, but they worked with me to make sure that I get the best quality of cake with the amount of budget I have. On the day of the event, they have delivered the cake and desserts at the requested time. The cake looked gorgeous and the desserts, scrumptuous, and it doesn't stop there. Based on the feedback from our guests, the cake was moist, and the sweetness just right. The desserts were gone in a matter of minutes! I am so happy I used them for our event. I have become a fan, and they will now be my go-to cake place for every special occasion, or if I just really have a craving for good-tasting dessert. Shoot, I may just plan a party for me so I can get them to make me a cake. :-D

Supremekakes out did themselves with this almond cake and also top layer being red velvet

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

You're paying for the K-Pop Demon Hunter pop-up aesthetic, the upbeat vibes, the fast service, the themed menu. The desserts? Solid. The Pinky Up Parfait hits. One scoop of cappuccino ice cream comes generous and tasty. Nothing disappoints. But nothing revolutionizes dessert either. This is good execution in service of a limited time experience, not destination-level pastry work. And that's fine. That's exactly what a pop-up should be. The real draw is that everything works together. Vibe, music, service, and desserts that don't let the side down. It feels fun, not gimmicky. That's harder to pull off than you'd think. Bottom line. Pop-ups don't stick around. If the K-Pop theme is your thing and you want solid desserts in a fun environment, go now. If you're just looking for great desserts, permanent spots do it better.

They came here with the same excitement that they had for disneyland so I'm really happy about that. We all liked the harry potter experience and some different anime type experiences as well that my children liked. The foods and drinks are on theme and although it's not cheap, it's definitely not as much as Disneyland. We came on the weekends, but during lunchtime, and I can see how they might be really busy during the dinner rush. Sometimes you might need a timed entry to go in, but thankfully, we have not since we've been going. I will say that it's quite small and gets cramped really fast. Since we were already in the area after breakfast at TJ's Filipino Cuisine, we finally got the chance to stop by and try their baked goods for ourselves. We arrived early, so the bakery wasn't too busy yet. The bakers were busy prepping more goodies in the back while my cousin and I browsed all the Filipino baked goods we really miss from back home in the Philippines. They even had suman, sapin-sapin, biko, and other kakanin, which was nice to see. I specifically looked for the chicken empanada, and my cousin wanted to try the ube white chocolate chip cookie. We also saw different kinds of siopao and planned to come back later to buy some before heading back to San Antonio. We tried the ube white chocolate chip cookie first, but honestly we weren't totally satisfied. It tasted more like a regular white chocolate chip cookie with purple coloring and didn't really have much ube flavor. I also tried the chicken empanada. My cousin didn't like it because it was sweeter than expected--we were both expecting it to be savory. There seemed to be caramelized sugar in the outside of the pastry, which probably added to the sweetness. I still like it, though it was definitely sweeter than what I'm used to. Red Ribbon's chicken empanada is still my favorite. Later that day before leaving Houston, we came back for the siopao we planned to take home. We finally decided to just buy a couple pieces for ourselves, heat them up in the bakery, and try them fresh. When we saw the price for a four-pack, we were honestly disappointed. It felt expensive for the size. The siopao wasn't huge, and while I like the dough, there wasn't much chicken filling inside. For the portion, taste, and quality, it felt overpriced. Overall, it's probably not worth making another trip back for us. We did enjoy the cassava ube suman, and I like the chicken empanada, but not enough to drive all the way to Houston just for those. If I live nearby, I might come back to try other baked goods, but based on this visit, I'm not sure the rest would impress my palate. I still give them credit for cleanliness and customer service, although we did notice fruit flies on one of the shelves and reported it. The staff was friendly, and the bakery itself was welcoming. At the end of the day, since they're a bakery, the expectation is great-tasting, quality, mouthwatering Filipino breads, pastries ", and kakanin. While some items were enjoyable, overall it just didn't quite live up to the hype for us.
