We decided to try this bakery out and it was a great decision! The bread is cheap in price but high in flavor! Loved all the breads we got! Empanadas were great too! They were baked hard so you can dip them in your coffee! Absolutely delicious!

Do they have Mexican lady fingers?

I've never seen them there, but they take custom orders. They focus on pan dulce and other pastries.

This cake embodies the essence of European cuisine. Many people travel to Europe and are captivated by the taste of the cake, recognizing that a truly exceptional cake can only be prepared with such skill. Le Duc Gourmet Bakery was the first bakery I walked into, and I'm so glad I did. The owner was incredibly sweet and took our order without hesitation. Not only did they get it done in time, but the cake turned out perfect. The design was exactly what I pictured clean, colorful, and super fun. We went with red velvet and cream cheese filling, and the outer layer was buttercream, which was a big plus. It tasted just as good as it looked. When we finally cut into it, I actually felt bad because it was so pretty!! Everyone was amazed by how good and cool it was. Definitely coming back here for future events.

They could design anything! CBG offers many flavors, but our favorites were the red velvet and bridal white cake. My husband and I love Tetris, and wanted to add that to the cake. CBG did a beautiful job executing that. We received so many compliments on our wedding cake! The reason why I knocked a star off is because the cakes are too sweet for me. If there was 30-40% less sugar, it would've been great. Asians like their desserts "not too sweet" lol. I've had too many dry wedding cakes in my life and the cakes here are consistently moist, which is a huge plus. The other reason why I gave this place 4 stars is because I had to send an inspo pic of how I wanted the flowers to be arranged multiple times to different people at Cakes by Gina. The day of my wedding, my coordinator asked me how I wanted the flowers to be arranged. I ended up explaining it to her and it worked out, but I'm surprised that a picture wasn't printed, or notes were not written down. I'm not gonna lie, they're pricey. The fact that the cake was beautiful and moist made it worth it.

The place is small & has a homey feel to it. Here are some items I've ordered. * Simit & egg- kind of looks like a bagel but doesn't taste like one. Nice crunch from the outside & soft on the inside. The sesame seeds had a good nuttiness to it. You also can't go wrong with an egg in the middle; it was cooked to perfection. 4.5/5 * Fruit Tart- light & not too sweet. Good tasting crust as well. 4.5/5 * Baklava- it was flaky & freshly made. The pistachio's was very good. However, it was so sweet. I recommend to just eat 2-3 of these. 4.2/5 * Nutella achma- it was my favorite. Glistening on the outside & fluffy & airy on the inside. The Nutella was rich & had the perfect amount of sweetness. 4.8/5 Overall, Simit & Poacha exceeded my expectations & I can't wait to come back & try some more pastries. Their 5 star reviews are not a fluke & I'm thinking of coming back next weekend lol. Tip: Their cakes are easy on the eyes. So if it's a special event like your birthday, you should come here & have them make it.

Each cake is made of layers of individual crepes spread with a thin layer of cream so it takes more effort to make one of these than the usual cake. ** Dubai chocolate (4/5)-- seasonal and soon to be replace with Dubai chocolate strawberry! Although pistachio cream and chocolate are usually pretty dense, the cream here still remained fluffy and light while feeling decadent. The pistachio didn't taste artificial either. ** Green tea crepe cake (5/5)-- always a classic and perfect for fans of strong tea flavor. Fluffy, airy, melt in your mouth goodness. Be wary of inhaling while you eat because of the matcha powder! Besides the crepe cakes, they also have "normal" sponge cake, mont Blancs, chocolate covered treats, and coffee/teas. The grand interior and set up of this location makes it feel luxurious but could definitely be intimidating or less appealing to solo visitors or those who just want to pop in and out. There are waiters greeting you at the front and a line of staff at the pastry case at the back. No price tags in the display case so sticker shock may be a possibility (there is a menu to browse for dine in you could ask for though). The inside looks like somewhere for high tea, and the service fits the part. The restrooms were clean too. It was really quiet on a weekend morning with just us. One thing I didn't like was it was FREEZING inside. Even with a hoodie, I was still quite cold so it was harder to enjoy the cakes to the fullest. Lady M will still be a special occasion place for me instead of a usual stop, but I'm happy to have the option to visit whenever instead of flying to New York, etc. If you've never had a "good" crepe cake, definitely try their original or green tea matcha versions!

The slices (and full cakes) are on the pricier side, but the delicate layers and unique flavors make it worth it. The staff at this location were friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better.

It's a family owned business and one that has been incredibly popular since they opened. I first learned about them as a result of Too Good To Go (#1) and have been a dedicated customer ever since. What their pastry shoppe lacks in space and chairs, they make up for by their extensive selection. There is sometimes a line that wraps around the interior, which can get awkward quicky. They specialize in a number of pastries such as baklava, pistachio desserts, Dubai chocolate, fruit-shaped desserts, celebration cakes, along with gelato and ice cream. Some of the other items include cake slices, macarons, cookies, cannoli, and more. While most of the stuff skews Lebanese, they have other regional items such as the Iraqi znood and Dubai chocolate covered treats. I'm quite fond of their fudge, znoods, and baklava variety. It's easy to get overwhelmed in there by just simply making a choice. The prices are affordable, but can add up quick. Customer service is good overall, it's important that they deal with crowds nightly so be prepared to choose something or ask for recommendations. __________ (#1) Only one of the best discounted services out there.
