Supreme has new owners and is the best medical spa in the SW Chicagoland suburbs. They also have an additional spa in Park Ridge, which has the latest and modalities to physically change your life. I have fibromyalgia and go to Supreme for several therapies to help me with chronic pain and constant soreness. Don't do it. For years I had skin problems, acne, pimples, and scars. I visited numerous salons and clinics, but nothing helped. A friend recommended me to do a vampire facial. I found this salon on Groupons. I did PRP Session with Microneedling. It took around 30min for the whole service. The nurse (if you can call her that), was dressed inappropriate, like she was going to a stripe club. She didn't even bother to ask if I have any allergies or what skin problems I have. After the procedure, my face was numb. Next day, my face was swollen. Not only I had swollen face but I had acne all over. My husband took me to the hospital. The doctor was in shock of that this place did to me. I took me 3 weeks to get better. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, I will come back to this place and will NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone. I went there for Botox paid for 40 units a month ago and it has already went away. Initially I waited a week and it slightly showed results. I went in and the "nurse" said oh let me put 10 more units in. Three weeks later lines on my forehead! That's would be impossible if she initially used 40 units. I posted a negative review 4 years ago which was recently censored (taken down). So I will try again to not offend anyone's PC sensibilities. I don't know why they spam me via text message about offers for Botox and other services I have no interest in. I call their number and talk with some person who feigns a lack of understanding of English and who says I will be removed from the distribution list, but I keep getting spammed. First, I want to point out is how clean & pristine this entire establishment is. I also want to mention how professional their entire staff seems to be very knowledgeable on all svcs offered & their svcs are many. I went for just my standard botox injection & must say this injection was probably the best result(I usually go where there's a special) I've rec'd thus far & I've had many to date. The price(s) here at Amber Gold are reasonable. I'd say, comparable in sum areas w/others however, I feel the quality is better. I'm going back for sure. I believe it's because it was that I purchased deal through Groupon that amber spa did not give me what was not promised. They also asked for more money out of pocket and gave less !!! I went there for treatment for the discoloration on my skin. I did quite a few IPL treatments and my skin got worse. I decided to quit and go to a dermatologist who told me IPL should absolutely never ever be used on melasma and anyone with proper training should know this. I tried calling the location more times that I care to think about. Spoke to staff, they left messages for the manager. No one retuned my call or bother to help me when I asked for the last session in my package to be reimbursed. It was a fair request considering they made my skin WORSE!. My money was never refunded & no call ever returned, which is why I am writing this review. This is a horribly run business with incompetent people who just don't care about their customers. The hours looked good, so after purchasing a groupon I made an appointment for 11:00 am on a Saturday, well in advance (over a month before). Not sure if our appointment was canceled because she couldn't get a hold of me a day before (would be nice to know if there was a mandatory call 24 hours ahead to confirm otherwise your appointment is dropped rule when I call to make the appointment). Anyway, my friend and I got a groupon for dysport and came in at 10:45 knowing we'd have paperwork to fill out. We stood in the foyer for 7-8 minutes before we were even greeted and asked to sit down and wait. and wait we did. For over 1.5 hours. I wanted to walk out, but she already redeemed the groupon so I didn't want the hassle of losing the money or fighting for a refund, so my friend and I stuck it out. And 1/2 my day was shot because this should have been a 20-25 minute consult if they took you in on time. Not 2 hours. Once we got into the room, we were told how weak dysport was, how the groupon we chose wasn't going to do anything for us and that we had to upgrade to more units of botox or dysport to see results. When we didn't want to upgrade and just go with what we had purchased, the "doctor" got irritated with us. I guess he was used to up-selling people but we just were not going to fall into that trap. The units we purchased had been pretty close to past injections we have had elsewhere. Not sure if he's a doctor or salesman but stay away. yup. read more

They are honest with how much you need and will consult you on actually getting less if they feel you will look like you are going to look like Han solo after your are done. I spent $700 on 2 filler treatments & the gal insisted on doing both in one sitting. EXTREMELY EXTREMELY PAINFUL & the only results were swollen, sore, chapped, & irritated upper lip for days. I saw a tiny bit of results in my cheeks & smile lines, but it doesn't last more than a couple weeks. As far as my lips, no increase in plumpness; I only experienced a great deal of pain & discomfort. I was completely dissatisfied & will never waste my money on such garbage & hype again. Don't waste your money, these treatments are a total RIPOFF; the price is absolutely ridiculous & again no recognizable results. The Drs. aren't real Drs., none are licensed Medical Drs. or Dermatologists. After I posted my review, someone at their office reached out to me asking who did the procedure. I responded & haven't received any further communications. Hey girls! Sometimes shopping for a bargain could be your worst mistake, and unfortunately I've experienced that with Amber Gold Spa in Willowbrook. I bought a package for hair removal. I will spare you the areas that were worked on, but needless to say I am unhappy. I paid $800 for a package for laser hair removal and received zero results. Strange thing is I have a friend who had hair removal done like 5 years ago somewhere else and she tells me she doesn't have any existing hair in that area. I went in 2018 and 2019 to Amber Gold for my treatments. The laser tech kept cancelling the appointments on me and rescheduling over and over again. I got no results and no hair removal after all those treatments. I'm really dissatisfied and angry, and to add insult to injury, the uninformed staff tells me this was due to a hormonal issue...Really?? When I talked to other people who understand how the laser works, they stated that that's not the case, and that it was just a poor excuse. Because hormones have nothing to do with the bad performance by the laser tech, the laser, or both. I will be happy to take down this post if I get reimbursed the money I wasted at Amber Gold and I would suggest to my sisters to find a place that is run more efficiently and more professionally with actual results and a place that stands behind their work. I have done several rounds of very well priced (buy in bulk to really save!...they bank your units if you don't use all in one visit) botox injections. The nurse that administers the shots is very knowledgable and pleasant and they run on time and its easy to schedule.
