They pressure washed, removed hardware and even replaced any rotted wood and porch posts before painting (did not just paint over it). I'm over the moon with how my house looks now. Is there a word for that feeling of regret when you try a business without yelping them first? Yelpgret? Let's call it that. We have some serious yelpgret, because every single negative review of this company is 100% correct, but we didn't check here beforehand. The owner is SUPER NICE and took the blame for every mistake, but that was followed up by inaction and more mistakes. The result? He ghosted us, disappeared with several pieces of cabinetry that he was supposed to be using to paint match, and his crew did such a poor job that we will have to pay more for someone else to fix it (and also rebuild matching cabinet doors). Please. Do not give them your money. It will only cost you more in the end. read more

They made every effort to be sure everything was perfect. Not only that, they were always respectful and polite. They have great leadership in Dalton, the owner of Supreme Painting, who sets the example for the entire company. Not only does Supreme Painting do a great job, they also are a very well-organized and responsive company. They are easy to contact, and calls, texts, and emails are all quickly answered. I wish I could give this company 0 stars. I so regret using them. We all know how difficult it is to find a reputable company that operates with integrity and provides quality work. The search will continue for my family, as I will have to pay another company to redo the horrible job that the owner Dalton Tomlinson subcontracted to a disgruntled two-man crew. Yes, I said two-man crew. There were several red flags that my husband and I ignored. We were hesitant to use this company. However, they persisted in calling, numerous times, as we continued our search to have some repair and painting completed in our home. Having a busy schedule, we decided to have the work completed after about the third call. Major red flag. I REGRET that decision thousands of dollars later. DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY!!! We ultimately went with Supreme Painting because of their 5 year, yearly touch-up guarantee. Well it was very lacking. There were a few initial problems with the painting, nothing major but the foreman on the job told us to finish moving in and he would come back to fix everything. Shortly after when we requested him to come back, the owner of Dalton Tomlinson said that foreman had been let go and there wasn't anything to do until our yearly touch-ups. When our first yearly touch-ups came about we had to provide tools/equipment to the employee that came, he stayed under an hour and accomplished very little. We were disappointed but thought we would give them one last shot on our second annual touch up. This touch up went worse than the first. The employee told me that he was trying to not get dirty as he had estimates to go give after he left our house. He didn't do a thing. I only asked him to touch up the trim in one bathroom and its three doors and he didn't do any of it. In fact he bled white paint all over my newly painted charcoal walls so now I have EXTRA work to do. Thanks but no thanks, we will not be recommending Supreme Painting in the future. read more

The work done in our home was done pretty well. The bid process and timeline was great, the crews are trustworthy (we weren't even in Texas while they painted in our home), and everyone was great to deal with. We were, however, somewhat disappointed in the prep work done. There are numerous places in our home where it's apparent the surface wasn't even wiped down prior to being sprayed and the surface is now rough from the dust being trapped under the paint. We will be scheduling our first touch up soon and hope to have these areas fixed. Overall a great company, but I wish we could have been around to catch the little things while the job was being done. read more

Reasonable price, good painting job. The colors were as picked and he finished the job before anticipated. However, his crew tracked mud into the house when they were supposed to be either using shoe coverings or not wearing shoes. Our house had no furniture and was completely new. We don't wear shoes in the house, so I know the mud was from his crew. When questioned, he said his crew "took their shoe coverings off because they got paint on them." I wonder why they didn't bring more shoe coverings? You'd think this is an issue that comes up fairly frequently in this business. They were supposed to put plastic down to protect the floors also (we have hardwood floors). My husband was there and saw no evidence of this at all. Also, my husband witnessed his crew cleaning up by pouring the excess paint and rinsing off their materials in our sinks. Yes, every. Single. Sink. (We have 5.) I have no idea what this does to the plumbing, but I'm sure you are not supposed to be pouring paint down the sink. When the supervisor came back and my husband mentioned it to him, he said, "I can't believe they did that in front of you." Like it's okay if he wasn't there to witness it? When I questioned Dalton about it, he said he had "a conversation" about it. No offer of cleaning up, paying for a person to clean it, etc. I am happy with the paint job but very unhappy with the way Supreme Painting treated our house. I think he should have offered something to make this right. He insists that his crew put plastic down, and wore shoe coverings, but at some point they did not and tracked mud into the house. Instead of denying this, perhaps he could offer to deduct something from the price to pay for the clean-up? Having a conversation with them does not negate what they did, nor does it make it easier for me to clean up diluted paint from my bathrooms. I will never use them again. read more

We hired Supreme Painting for 2 jobs. The first job was painting a room and touching up some damaged window returns. Dalton was pleasant initially, answered all emails and returned all the phone calls. The painters did a very good job overall (had a few quirks initially but responded well to the requests). We even received a thank you card from Dalton after the fact. Now comes the 2nd job, which was to remove a wall unit. He was asked if this is a job he would be able to complete and willing to undertake and he reassured us that he would be able to take care of this project. This would involve removing the old entertainment center, retiling the floor, repainting the wall and installing new trims. The contract was signed and the deposit was paid. 1 week prior to the agreed upon start date, we attempted to get in touch with Dalton via email and multiple phone calls. It is as if we have never dealt with this person before. Not a single phone call returned and not a single email answered. When his office was contacted, we were told by his secretary that she will forward the messages to him. Still no answer. The day of the job noone shows up... Cannot stress enough how frustrating this is and how unprofessional after having already worked at a person's house. From what We understand, this is a common practice, when a bigger job comes along, the contractor dumps you. This is fine, but at least have the decency to inform your customer. Beware. read more

We recently hired Supreme Paint to paint the exterior wood trim on our house. Dalton came out and gave us an estimate and went over what work was to be done and the expected time line, we accepted. His crew showed up and proceeded to do the necessary prep work, power washing the areas to be painted. When I went out to watch the work in progress they had the washer pressure on full pressure which in turn was destroying my soffit vents. Some had the louvers torn completely off and others were closed completely flat blocking all air flow. When I mentioned this to crew, they sent someone to obtain some new vents and replaced the obviously seen vents around the patio and driveway but quickly painted over the other closed vents in the hope I wouldn't notice and assured me all the ones not replaced were fine. These damaged vents were discovered 2 days later while the gutter crew was installing the gutters. At the same time it was discovered pieces of trim were missing and brick mortar joints were destroyed causing gaps and loose bricks from using too much pressure from the washer to prep the areas to be painted. I called Dalton and told him of the situation and he said he would be out to take a look. After 2 weeks of no show or response from him, I called him again only to have my call sent to an answering machine. Now after another 2 weeks of being ignored, I am stuck with the cost of making all the repairs to the damage incurred by his prep work and having to repaint the affected areas. It appears his word is meaningless and his "Iron Clad Warranty" is worthless. read more

Supreme Painting did a paint job for me two years ago, and I was delighted with the work. However, this year after a flood in my home, I called Dalton to do some repairs and painting. The work was incomplete. I have left voice mails and texts for Dalton, but have heard NOTHING since April. I understand if there are higher paying jobs they could be doing, but being ignored is not acceptable. read more

I contracted Supreme Painting to paint my house and they left a lot of things undone. For example, during the proposal, I asked the owner to paint everything in three rooms. They did not paint the the doors, base boards and trim in any of the rooms. The owner communicated through his lead man and told him to tell me they would take care of it, then changed his mind the next day and told him not to do it. The owner seemed agitated when I questioned the trim not getting painted. I left him two phone messages of which he did not respond to either, then he showed up at house after his crew had left and seemed upset that I questioned the trim not getting painted. The last day of job, he stopped by and left invoice in his employees truck and didn't bother to talk to me. I will have to hire some painters to do what Supreme Painting left undone. read more
