Price: I came by this place, as well as others for a quote on fixing my laptop hardware (a screw…read morewas missing it and it was wonky to open & close). One place quoted me $165-195, another said $189, but PC Specialist said $220. Service: He came out to my car to get my laptop, but instead of just looking at it there to give the quote, he asked me to give him 10-15 minutes and he took it inside. He came back in less than 5 minutes and told me the quote, handing me my laptop OPEN rather than closed. As he walked away, I tried to close it and found that I couldn't, as some part was sticking out. I called after him and told him I couldn't close it. He took it and tried, then said, "Let me go use my tools" and he took the laptop back inside. He came back in a minute or two with it closed, and I thanked him and drove off. When I got home, I saw that my laptop could open and close, but the thing itself was completely broken. It wouldn't turn on AT ALL. By playing with the hardware, he had completely damaged it so that it would no longer work.
