Took my truck in with a diagnostic indicating a blown fuse or a broken wire for an oxygen sensor. I replaced the oxygen sensor before taking the truck in, so I decided to take my truck to the so-called experts. The so-called GM experts replaced the same oxygen sensor I replaced and charged me for it because my grandson could not leave the truck at Sapaugh, and the same diagnostic was active for a blown fuse or broken wire when he left Sapaugh. Brought the truck back and they had it Friday, Monday, and Tuesday they finally called and said the truck was fixed. The bill was 1300 dollars and as the diagnostic pointed out it was a broken wire. Sapaugh said there was another diagnostic appearing, but I never saw them, and they fixed it is why the bill was so high. It was wrong to charge me 239 dollars to replace a perfectly good oxygen sensor especially when the diagnostic indicated a broken wire. Why did the GM technicians not look for the wiring issue from the beginning because that is what the diagnostic indicated. Beware Sapaugh will make mistakes and charge you for it. read more

Sapaugh picked up my car after I complained that the front lights were dim (both of them). They eventually called me and said that the problem was a headlight needed to be replaced and it would cost $641.70 which they said was not covered by the warranty. After verifying by phone that would solve the problem and that all the front lights would be working, I authorized the repair. When they called back to get my credit number, I once again asked if this solved the problem and all the front lights would be working and they said yes. When they delivered the car, one of the front lights was fine and the other was still dim. Their driver that delivered the car verified this. When I called them and told them that when I authorized the $641.70 it was with the understanding that this would fix all the front lights, they refused to do anything. I asked them to check the tape recording of my conversations with them when I first called and explained the problem, when I authorized the repairs and again when I gave them my credit card. I said this would verify that I authorized the repairs only because they said that cost would fix all the front lights. They refused to do anything about it other than they said they would pick up car again and replace the other headlight for another $641. I instead had Telle Tire replace the other headlight for $334.67 within 1/2 hour as opposed to the $641.70 for the exact same thing that Sapaugh charged me for the other headlight and which involved them keeping my car for 6 days while discovering the problem, ordering the headlight, installing it and returning the car to me. I will never use them again. They overcharged and only did half of the job. read more
