My experience at this Higley Road location was completely different. The manager, Serena, refused to accept my ladder, stating that their store policy requires it to be boxed because of concerns that it could open during transit. I tried to explain that the ladder cannot open unless it is intentionally activated, and even offered a simple solution by securing it with zip ties, as other UPS Stores have allowed in the past. Rather than trying to find a solution, Serena repeatedly interrupted me, dismissed what I was saying, and told me she wasn't going to "go back and forth" with me. She also told me to take my shipment to another UPS Store. Whether the store has a different policy is one thing, but the lack of professionalism and customer service was the real issue. At no point did I feel like she was interested in helping me--only in rejecting my shipment. I understand that individual franchise locations may have their own policies, but there's a respectful and professional way to communicate those policies. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed by the interaction.
