Late afternoon on a Friday during the heat of the day, we wanted to get the kids out of the house and off the electronics for a little bit. Arriving at about 4:30 we were one of about four groups playing. Very clean and easily navigable, the course is an easy way to spend an hour without breaking the bank. $8 per kid was very reasonable and the course let the dads partake in the obligatory instructions given to 5,6 & 7 year-olds. Our kids are now teenagers and this remains our preferred mini golf in LBI. As you might surmise, we've been coming since the kids could barely putt....so this is far from a difficult course. What's nice....family friendly, just challenging enough to be competitive as kids got older, rarely too crowded, relative bargain at $7 per head, always parking. Nice little no frills track. Women working the desk was a bit smug. They could use some shorter putters though. I'm six foot and the shortest putter they had was a good seven inches longer than my real putter in my golf bag. Well kept and clean. Some lame holes but whatever, we had a good time. Plus I won. While there are many much more elaborate mini golf places on LBI, I've always found that I have more fun here. Course is pretty simple, but has plenty of unique and fun holes. Tends to not be overcrowded and it's a pretty good deal compared to some other places. I'll keep making a point to come back when I visit LBI! read more

Easily one of the best mini golf places on LBI. Arrived at night when it was pretty busy but the staff was super friendly and greeted us right away. Pricing was decent ($7 per) and the course itself was actually pretty fun. It's probably one of the better courses on the island. Everything is well maintained and very clean. My family and I come here every year during our stay in LBI. It was our go to place but not after last night. We headed there after dinner and asked for five gold clubs. While getting our balls and clubs we asked to use the restroom. The curly haired and rotund woman behind the desk just responded "No restrooms". We mentioned to her that we had been coming there for years and had always been allowed to use the restroom. She kept responding "No restroom" with a bad attitude and a smug fAce. When we asked her where the nearest restroom was she pretended to look at her phone (the screen was off) and very rudely responded "Nowhere". We put our clubs down and walked away and went to a mini golf course down the road. They were very polite and let us use a restroom. Island gold is cute but that woman last night was terrible and for that reason we will never go back. I would urge anyone reading this to skip this place and check out one of the many other golf joints. read more

Our group was 3 adults that played on a Monday morning when they opened. We had so much fun. We were the only ones there so we didn't feel rushed. It was challenging but not too difficult and the course was in good condition. A fun time on the mini links! read more

We went here the other night and had a great time! The course is extremely clean and well taken care of. They provide a small plastic golf club for little toddlers to feel involved, fun music playing, and candy at the end of your game. Ice cream shop right next door. It was a great little game of golf for family night! read more

Place was really nice and the employees were so kind. That was just to start the amazing night!!!

This place is pretty good with some cool obstacles and the owners keep the course pretty clean. Granted the course could use an upgrade of sorts. The paper mache Leopard in the cage looks a bit dated as does the Giraffe. Some of the holes fill with rain water which was annoying but overall place was pretty good. As with any place like this on LBI, cash only. If you happen to be there when the clown visits, looks a bit creepy from the picture and not sure why they need a clown to visit. One other thing, if you play with more than 4 people, you will need a second score card which was also annoying since the current cards only fit a certain amount. read more

Clean, well maintained, and moderately difficult mini golf course. Got a hole in one on the last hole and won a free game as well as a "free small scoop" at Scoop City. Upon trying to redeem the coupon twenty minutes after winning it, a miserable old man at Scoop City informed me that the coupons are no longer honored. Be aware of that scam if you master the final hole at Island Golf. Overall, a fun golf course! read more

It's an alright place. The course is somewhat boring, and for the price.... it not worth going to it again in my opinion. The course was very clean. But allowing smoking is a bad idea with families around. Like, do you want kids to get lung cancer? I hope you said no. I do recommend (only once tho). read more
