Very bad experience with the manager on 7/22/25. We arrived well before closing time and were welcome in without issue. As we continued through the course, the woman who was managing the course began following us around to each hole as if she was rushing us along and asked us towards the middle of the round to change our method of playing to "play through" each players ball instead of taking turns. We happily obliged and continued throughout the rest of the course in that new manner. She continued to follow behind us and watched us as we played (which we thought was annoying) and at the 18th hole she accosted us and asked "didn't I ask you to play through?" We explained that we were still following her instructions and we were at the last hole and last player. She continued to challenge us and then stormed off and shut off the lights in the office. My family and I were extremely confused and off-put!! Bad management and bad manners. We were initially having a lot of fun and we enjoyed to layout of the course, but due to our unfortunate experience, we will not be coming back. read more

Saw this course when we were on our way to Barnegat Light. Returned a couple days later to check it out. It's a challenging course. None of those tacky windmill and clown's mouth obstacles. Purely a gorgeous setting with difficult holes. Recommend that you check it out around sunset because it's in a beautiful spot! Can't go wrong at any time of day. read more

Have you ever thoroughly enjoyed a book or movie only to be disappointed by the ending? That is the feeling you will get at Jen's Links. After enjoying the stunning architecture, landscaping, history and challenge of the golf course, you finish on the most boring 18th hole. No chance for a free game. No ramp or windmill or clown's mouth. You just finish the bland hole and then hand in your club and ball. You leave saying, "that's it?" Anticlimactic. read more

The cost of ice cream is absolutely ridiculous. We got one orange cream stickle and a very small dip and dots. It costs $10.65. I understand that things are up because of inflation but really that's over the top. I do not recommend mini golf course. read more

Decided to try this course out and wasn't disappointed. Read previous reviews so had an idea of what to expect. The courses are beautiful. We played the high tide (3 adults) and played at 10am on a week day Being Covid times they did sanitize the clubs and balls and you had to wear a mask entering but not while playing if social distancing. The course was challenging but not crazy but no moving parts. Also there was no special last hole as others have said. We had a great time and I only give it a 4 star because of the cost which we thought was high. Would definitely go back. read more

Best mini golf on the island hands down! well worth the drive!!! 10/10 would recommend

A nice-looking waste of time and money. I will mention the nice aesthetics first, as the scenery is good-looking - the water and occasional boards of trivia adds to the visual appeal, and the shade and breeze under and on the elevated holes is nice. The theory of having two 18-hole courses is an interesting one, as is the idea of splicing one's front 9 and the other's back 9 to create a single wheelchair-accessible course (but this creates its own problems - see later). The course also serves food. And that is everything for the positives. You will note that none of these directly impact *playing* the course, unfortunately. First thing wrong is club selection. I am 6'0", and the longest club was too short for me. My partner, slightly shorter, found this club too long but the next one down too short. The holes have practically no variety. If one hole has two paths, one breaking and one not, and a rock and a piling as obstructions, then expect to see those elements 5 more times. Maybe the next hole breaks *right* instead of *left*. Maybe the piling will be replaced by a *box*! 80% and more of the holes are like this. If you are lucky boredom will not set in until the back 9. The course is not well maintained. Between the holes are gravel areas of various colors, and almost every hole has gravel strewn across the green - they need to be swept much more often. I hope you do not play this course with small children or people without prior mini-golf experience. Over the entire 36 holes there is 1 hole-in-one pipe (and one that may sort of come close). Less than half of the remaining holes have a *possible* hole-in-one given a very long straight putt and assuming no hidden breaks (so calling for a lot of skill there but also some luck). The rest of the holes have severe breaks, banks, or other obstructions that give you no possibility of a 1, and sometimes no possibility of a 2 either. This does fit a particular style of mini-golf course, which appeals to some people, but be warned of what you are getting into. Remember the handicapped accessible part of the course I mentioned? In order to achieve this, the concrete walkway onto and off of the green for these holes is just a couple millimeters above the playing surface. A very reasonable putt that is unlucky enough to hit the wall here will not bounce back but instead roll out of play for a penalty stroke (as happened to me twice). And to top everything off, for the price you are paying to play 18 holes here ($12 for an adult as of this writing), you could instead play 2 rounds at other courses on the island. There are 5 alternative mini-golf courses down in Surf City / Ship Bottom - I recommend you play any of the 5 instead. They were designed with *playing* mini-golf in mind. Jen's Links appears to be designed to *look* wonderful, but by someone who has no idea of what actually makes a good mini-golf course. read more

Friendly place ! Walking distance to the lighthouse and some good ice cream places near by. Most of the holes are moderate to easy. There are several challenges and one water trap which makes it fun. read more

Jen's Links is a new, welcomed addition to the LBI mini golf scene. Gave us a reason to leave the tourist areas and more outdated courses and head north to Barnegat Light. Seeing the sun set over the bay and the docked boats was very nice. Not concerned about price or coupons, just wanted something different and this did not disappoint. Great family mini golf course. Played High Tide. There are two large 18 hole courses. Adventure is around every corner. Well thought out and challenging but still fun for all. Would give it 4.5 stars because there is not a big 18th hole ending. read more

We were excited to try this golf course because it looks so great from the outside. However, once on the holes, we found them to be quite boring and void of any challenges or obstacles! If you are looking for a pretty golf course, this is the one. But if you're looking for windmills and other challenges, then save the money and look somewhere else. Plus, it's expensive. read more

Fun course. It was busy but moved along. In all fairness it was a cloudy day so lots of families out playing. Looking forward to going back.

This place is horrible!!!!!! Been here multiple times and it has been closed before they officially close, or closed for any other odd reasons. The course seems fun and exciting but I fortunately haven't been able to enjoy it because it's always closed when it should not be. Good luck in getting into the place because it's always closed!! The long awaited opening of Jen's Links has arrived. I was excited to try out the course (which has two sets of 18 holes) because it looked so attractive from the outside. Once I started golfing I quickly realized that the course is all show and no go. There are no real challenges on any of the holes, you mind as well go to your closest patch of grass and aim for a rock. It's also the most expensive mini golf I've seen on the island. I only give it two stars because it is aesthetically pleasing. However, it's not at all worth your time or money. read more

I would rate this a 3.5 if I had the option. Nice scenery and interesting layout with the "high & low tide" but not challenging at all. Also, the most expensive mini golf on LBI with no coupons, early bird specials, etc. Perhaps the owners should rethink winning a prize on the 18th hole for a free drink, snack, or returning game. It's new. It's neat. It's clean . Its pristine . I get it. And ,although we enjoyed our rounds at the links, something was missing . I suppose they are trying to make this "adult" mini golf ,however why not add some whimsy besides the historical points that are around . Or make them interesting . Or use natural materials to pinpoint the use of recyclables and how that can help the island instead of fake rocks and few interesting holes. Growing up, mini golfs had fun( like a Ferris wheel that the ball would go in), whimsical holes and an exciting chance to win a free game at the end. That would be another good addition. So,as I've said we had fun and the place is nice but can be improved . read more
