To be honest, I've been a little apprehensive about getting anything checked out in my mouth. Ashamed to say, but it's been a long time coming. I felt it was time to have my teeth checked out because I was a bad kid and lost my retainers shortly after having my braces removed. My grill isn't jacked up beyond recognition, but it was time for a tune-up. I decided that it was time to get the process started by getting a consultation at the *very* least. A start is a start and sometimes the hardest part is getting started and it gets easier from there, right? That couldn't be any more true here. I had a consultation with Dr. Melissa and honestly the hardest part for me was getting myself to go. The rest of it was such a smooth process. Maybe it was because it was my first time getting any sort of orthodontic treatment in a very long time, but I could tell that I was in good hands. Dr. Melissa is trustworthy and knowledgeable and I felt confident that I was going to be receiving quality care. As a bonus, their office/practice is SO COOL. I'm a sucker for hidden rooms and they have one behind their bookcase!! I literally subscribe to a subreddit all about hidden rooms. This has been a wonderful experience for my daughter and myself. The staff has continued to not only provide excellent orthodontic care but also make us feel welcome and cared about every visit. We did braces at another practice and it didn't come close to how nice it was here. It was so big and crowded that I felt we got lost in the shuffle. Progress was rarely explained to us and the one time we had concerns, they weren't explained very well. Not so here at Magic Fox. The office is clean and beautiful. I recently got a new retainer from Magic Fox Orthodontics. The facility is brand new, super clean and has all of the latest & greatest technology. I thought it was really cool how they didn't have to take a physical mold of my mouth to make my retainer! Instead they used a machine that mapped out my mouth. I rarely ever leave reviews but I had to. This is honestly the most unique orthodontic office I've ever stepped into. Anyway, before coming here we had a prior consult with another place that said he needed a palate expander before braces and my son was so nervous but I wanted a second opinion. We came here and dr Jeremy and Mellie said we did not need it and my son was so excited and was so comfortable with them we decided on getting his braces here. Everything they used was so high tech, I needed new retainers myself and they don't use moldings here they scan your teeth with this little machine so I thought that was pretty cool.
