Next door to the historic Surf Ballroom, and the restaurant carries over the 50-60s music theme with nice photos and instruments displayed. Great place for lunch or dinner. We've stopped here a few times in the past two years. They have a new menu this summer, with several pastas, burgers, etc. Good food and service. read more

This is for sure the perfect spot if you are around the area and want to try something new, yummy, and different. Great drink menu as well!! I did order my food over the phone and took it to go, but I am going to return and eat in person. This place just has the vibe. I had the Cheeseburger and fries and it was so amazing! The bun was toasted, the meat was well seasoned and juicy, the cheese melty and gooey. The meat was grilled and had those delicious crispy bits and edges. This tasted like a real good old fashioned burger that is so hard to find nowadays. The fries were seasoned and crispy and perfect. I ordered my food over the phone and the gentleman that answered was so nice and accommodating. The food was ready in a timely manner. I will be returning to dine in person. The location is great the interior was inviting and the outside seating looked amazing. There is a cool bar inside that I spotted and look forward to ordering some delicious drinks from there. read more

I went here last night. It was a very fun atmosphere. It was a beautiful night and we could've eaten on the porch but decided to dine inside. Awesome selection of food and drinks. I had the baja chicken fajita quesadilla and my guest had the birria tacos. We also shared chips and queso. The food was hot and very very good. Birria tacos were extremely flavorful. Chicken in quesadilla was also amazing. Service was good and we have already talked about what to order next time we go. Looking forward to trying the fish tacos. This place misses the mark. How can we be unhappy when we are in Clear Lake? Service was fine - doesn't anyone drop a napkin for drinks anymore?! Atmosphere was fine. Food was terrible. My husband ordered a med-rare burger and it was a frozen overcooked patty with too much bun, my daughter's brussels sprouts were under cooked, my Caesar salad was serviceable but no crutons as advertised and there was too many tomatoes and chicken to the ratio of lettuce. Still tasty. Drinks were good but took forever. Would not recommend. Also TVs in the bar had a paused shot of "US Open Play is over" when the NBA Finals were actually on live TV. read more

5 of us stopped here on a Saturday afternoon around 1:00. Fewer than 10 people seated tables. We were seated and told Carlos will be waiting on us. A table of 3 were seated after us and ordered drinks and food from the waitress. Carlos was at the bar, saw us sitting there and continued to dink around behind the bar. He made eye contact with us numerous times but did not come over to our table. After waiting 10 minutes we got up to leave. Carlos walked towards us and said I was coming over. Went for Sunday brunch buffet. Not many breakfast options in Clear Lake, but this would hold up well in any city. Price was reasonable, service was good, restaurant is very clean and modern. (Formerly Surf District, but much brighter/cleaner decor now). Many options from salad to breakfast items, chicken, fish, deserts. Everything everyone in our party of 9 was enjoyed. Any items running low were promptly refilled, even though the restaurant wasn't very crowded. Will definitely be back for brunch sometime, and will likely try the lunch/dinner menu sometime soon also. Same owners as Avion Azul at the airport. read more

This is my first ever negative review. Our brussel sprouts were brought to another table, left to cool and then repurposed to our table. The 17 dollar burger wasn't fit to serve at a fast food restaurant and was cold. as were the fries. Shrimp tacos were great and the porch is beautiful. In the name of good food however...avoid this place at all costs. I won't even be giving it a second chance. Horrendous. They should be embarrassed. Spent 175 bucks for a sub par meal. read more
