My partner and I had so much fun wake surfing with captain Mike. It was my first time wake surfing, and Mike was a great teacher. I was up and surfing after just a few tries. Mike gave some great feedback so I felt myself improving and getting more comfortable each time The views on the lake were perfect and the boat is extremely nice and cushy, and could probably fit a good amount of people comfortably. They also provided water, towels, life jackets and some great speakers which was great. I'd definitely go back if I'm ever in Lake Powell and would recommend going - it was just so much fun. Rob was the sweetest guy ever. I called at like 10 am asking to pick up a wakeboard at 11 and he was just perfectly happy to accommodate me. I dropped it back off around 5:30 (a little later than I expected) and he was just friendly and asked how my experience was. I haven't been able to wakeboard for like 5 years and was just dying to get back to it, so it was a relief to find Surf Lake Powell (it was like the 5th place I called looking to JUST rent a wakeboard). It's nice to know that next time I come back I'll be able to easily have a wakeboard to use. read more

My husband and I went to the lake today for the 1st time and although we didn't use this company, I felt they still deserved a review. I don't know the gentleman's name but possibly the owner who drives a white Dodge truck. This man came to our rescue when the van that was about to load our rented seadoo blew a tire. This man took his trailer up the ramp to unhook his and came back down to attached the trailer that had our seadoo and helped load it in the water. Extremely nice and professional. He also helped another couple that had an issue with their seadoo starting. If this company is anything like what we saw today, I highly recommend using them! You won't be disappointed. read more

Our rental experience was fantastic. The service and quick response was excellent. Our boat broke down, we were back on the lake in less than 2- hours. That is unheard of. The boat we rented was clean and in excellent condition. I would recommend Surf lake Powell. They can provide everything you need to have a great time surfing, wake boarding skiing and tubing. Surf lake powell was amazing! So glad I found them. They provided the put in and take out service for a jet ski I was in desperate need. I had a day of high speed action planned at lake powell, and surf lake powell came to the rescue. They were super friendly, helpful, and very indulgent of my nonsense. Rob and Amy provided exceptional service. Amy gave me a thorough introduction on how to operate the sea doo. While also recommending what places to check out. I unfortunately sucked up a big branch and called Rob and he came to check out and resolved the issue without any hesitation. I felt extremely welcomed by both. Fantastic customer service that went above and beyond. Our boat broke down and the staff came out and helped us around dinner time. They also gave us $500 for the inconvenience of not being out of the water. Returning the boat and jet skis was such a simple process and they drove us back to where we needed to get to. never again. we have been going to Powell for a decade and rented from numerous companies. all I can say is never again will I give money to surf lake Powell. We showed our boat guy the video Rob provided and were told that it appears the boat has been repaired a few times and the quality of repair is the issue. This place has fantastic service. On the way to Lake Powell we had our Lilly pad, rafts and life vests stolen off our boat in Flagstaff. Rob saved our trip by renting us a Lilly pad for the week at a very reasonable price. The next day we realized we didn't have all the life jacket so we went back and he sold us a life jacket for my daughter. Again, at a very reasonable price. I love places like this and will always recommend. The owner literally said I'm here to make you happy. Thank you for saving our trip!!!!! read more

Jake and Mike are awesome and definitely go the extra mile for their customers. We did a two day rental and they handled everything for us; they launched us in the morning and pulled us out at night. The boats are really nice (brand new 2019 axis) and Jake gave us a bunch of useful tips to get the most out of surfing experience. We were unlucky the first day and had an alternator go out on the first day in the center of the lake. Jake had me drop a pin and showed up with a new boat and batteries within 45min. He sent us on our way while he worried about getting the other boat back. I would definitely rent from Surf Lake Powell again. read more

The owner and staff are incredible! Rob came to our rescue when our new boat would not start. It was a new boat and our first time on Lake Powell. The dealership told us we needed an oil change, which wasn't the case but they wouldn't help until we did that. Of course nobody had an opening for an oil change but Rob opened up his shop and let me use his tools to make the change. He and his staff were more than helpful in our dire situation. Amazing, honest and kind people. I will give them my business every time I am in Lake Powell. read more

Stop looking around and rent from these guys! We've never had a better rental experience....period. Jake and Tyler at Surf Lake Powell went far beyond the mark in taking care of us. Their pricing was equal to or lower than anyone else in Page, and their service is unmatched. The jet ski's we're reliable and powerful. When I asked about a local boat taxi service to get my pregnant daughter from the marina to the houseboat, Jake immediately offered to bring her out at no charge. Working with Surf Lake Powell was awesome. They have great prices, flexible operations, and very high quality rentable stuff. We got a jet ski that was half the price of other places. Rob talked me out of a tube which was probably good. They also filled up the jet ski after we returned it which was really great since gas on the lake is crazy expensive. Finally - at the end they drove us to the airport which is just above and beyond. Well done! read more

What an INCREDIBLE experience. My husband and I went to three different companies in Page, AZ searching for a sea-doo rental, and we finally found Surf Lake Powell. the entire experience was flawless. Surf Lake Powell I am usually not one to write a review, but I felt impressed to do so, after the experience we had after renting with Surf Lake Powell. We have rented other places in the past, but I never will again. I have finally found a rental company that looks out for their client. The service was second to none. We had some issues with one of the SeaDoos we rented. After a quick text, a properly working machine was swapped out and we were back having fun. The circumstances at the ramps, due to launch restrictions and water levels were not ideal, yet they jumped through some significant hoops to ensure that my family's vacation wasn't interrupted. They even made an adjustment on our invoice to make sure we felt that we were being treated fairly. At other rental companies, you will understand my next statement. I have always been made to feel "guilty until proven innocent," not here. This is a company that understands customer service and takes pride in providing it at a high level. I highly recommend Surf Lake Powell and will definitely use them again and again in the future. read more

She said yes but the benefit of using them was they carried the boards down and up a steep hill. We were there on Saturday April 25th. So we rented two paddle boards and she warned us about the winds. It was like $155. She was nice so we went for it. We get to the site and are waiting around. They haven't even taken the boards off the truck, but we were fine waiting. Layla finally made it up the HILL and had 2 boards taken off the truck and laid on the ground. I asked if any of the MANY men who were there and carrying kayaks down, was going to carry them down. She said no, you carry them. And that hill was STEEP. I figured meh, okay. I was annoyed since we were told they'd be ready for us at the bottom. Layla carried my paddle. Once I saw the hill, I was even more annoyed but I already paid $155 plus $30 entry to the lake. When we got to the bottom, she mentioned when we got back I had to carry it back up. I said I'm not doing that. lol. She held my leash so I could climb on my board. Not an easy task where we were. The paddle boarding was rough but we knew that, the girls at the office warned us. 5 miles later we returned. I STRUGGLED getting off the board and trying to haul it up by myself, my body was shaking and I was visibly exhausted. A young man who worked for this place, WATCHED me struggle. Asked how it was, I said it sucked. He mentioned me carrying the board up that steep hill, while I was shaking from exhaustion and out of breath, and I said "I'm not doing that" and he replied with "why is it heavy?" I did carry my life jacket and paddle...but after that comment I REALLY didn't want to. Layla gave me a water at the top and said to take a breath, I was breathing very heavy. I'd say don't rent paddle boards. You will have to carry them up and down the hill and will get no assistance getting off the board either. But they did carry the kayaks and help those people who also paid like we did, in and out of the kayaks. So maybe rent those and not the paddle boards.

Surf Lake Powell went above and beyond and made our experience at Lake Powell unforgettable. Rob and the team at Surf Lake Powell were so easy to communicate with. They went the extra mile and hooked us up with the surf boards we needed and our wakeboard. Our Axis T23 was very clean and ran very smooth! Jake and Mike are AMAZING! Seriously, they treated us like family and made our vacation an absolute success. They are so knowledgeable and so helpful. They actually care about you and want to see you enjoy the rentals. It's rare to find this kind of customer service anymore. We rented the Axis A22 (gorgeous boat) and 2 wave runners. These guys were fantastic!! Our family boat ended up in the shop and in a jam we were able to rent from Surf Lake Powell to save our summer trip. Thank you for being so accommodating and the boat was great! If needed we'd use these guys again in a second and highly recommend them to a friend. Thanks again guy for helping our family create amazing summer memories! Plus on August 2, 2023 a massive storm came through and gave us a wild ride back in that afternoon. The 25 ft boat was awesome out there in some crazy, crazy weather. Only downfall was we lost a Blunt Nose surf board in the storm. I call that a "W" for the win. Cheers! read more

We will only rent from Surf Lake Powell!! We wanted an unforgettable surfing experience on Lake Powell and these guys made it happen. The boat and boards were top of the line. They were quick to get us hooked up and paperwork done (about 15 mins total) so we could get on the lake. A storm blew in and they called to make sure we were ok. We were so impressed with the boards --we bought one to bring back to Montana. Excellent service and rental equipment. I highly recommend Surf Lake Powell read more

We recently rented an Axis boat from them and we had the best experience. The boat was beautiful and brand new. My family all wake surfed behind the boat, and I was able to wake surf and ski. We had so much fun. Jake and Mike are AWESOME!!!!! The customer service is honestly, the best I've ever experienced. Jake even drove out to meet us at the marina, on the second day of our vacation to FedEx a hard drive to my husband's client. We'll only rent from Surf Lake Powell in the future. read more

Surf Lake Powell is highly recommended for your jet ski adventure in Lake Powell. They explained all there was to know about operating two jet skis for a 24 hour rental. The jet skis were very easy to operate and seemed almost brand-new. They also provided some advice on where to go in order to get the most out of the rental time. Surf Lake Powell was also very flexible to meet us at the end of our desired rental time. Don't hesitate to book! read more

Literally the greatest service I have experienced when renting wave runners. Unbelievably friendly and accommodating. The prices were amazing and the crew was beyond friendly and helpful. There, Rick ran us through the operation and safety information we needed for an awesome day on Lake Powell. We definitely appreciated the locals knowledge, in particular in regards to the very rough sections of canyon that are highly-trafficked. It was certainly less of a problem as we knew what to expect. The skis themselves were flawless ... very fast, spacious and well maintained. The only issue we had was with the gas gauge showing an incorrect reading - both skis were beeping and on 1 bar of fuel by the time we loaded up, however when refilling the 16.4 gallon tanks on the way back to drop off, 1 ski took 9.7 gallons and the other 11 gallons ... definitely much more fuel left, however we have rented in many places and it is basically the same issue on all skis you rent, anywhere - they are manufactured with relatively unreliable fuel gauges. Overall, we can't wait to be back again, exploring Lake Powell and we won't hesitate for a second on returning to H20 Zone for future rentals.

When we got to the location, Buzz and Leslie gave us a map and highlighted areas where low water levels were low, which we found extremely helpful and made sure to stay clear of. They also showed us the locations of where we can get fuel and ice. Also very helpful! Those beers can't stay cold on their own! ;) We reserved the Montery 214 powerboat and it couldn't have been more perfect! The boat was in excellent condition, easy to drive, and had a great wave. We went wake-boarding quite a bit that weekend and had to refuel the boat. There's a gas station at Buzz Off, so we didn't have to go through the hassle finding one. Convenience! I will definitely rent from this location again!

They are patient when going over the equipment, explaining everything about how to operate them, and they are happy to answer any questions about the lake or the area. We rented two Honda FX-12's for one week in July 2011. They were in great condition, ran strong, and were a blast. The Honda's were on a nice double trailer, and they even offered extra gas cans and anchor bags at no charge. My hitch was a little "tall" for the setup so they provided a lower hitch which worked great. Next time we come back I won't bother looking around for a place to rent my toys, I will just call Leslie and set it up. They are located about 15 minutes from the Wawheap Marina, and 20 from Page. Looking forward to seeing them again soon!!

Originally this shop was going to charge me $55 for the capacitor (fair) his friend showed up and told the owner the capacitor is $87! I Paid the $87 due to needing the part and not being from the area and didn't know a hardware store down the street carried them. These capacitors sell for $30-$35 online and in stores so I paid 3 times that amount. Disappointing that this shop would take advantage of people from out of town in a vulnerable situation instead of having integrity and doing the right thing. This shop did not name the price but he could have spoke up for me and said that's a little high try ace hardware down the street and come back if this is your only option.
