I called Tyler late at night a reserved the 28' Chaparral boat, and this thing did not let us down! Amazing boat in great condition, has the power and size to take on Lake Powell. Skylite was very accomodating to our requests and was super easy to deal with. They were fair and very helpful. I couldn't recommend them more. They have just locked in a forever customer with my family and I. Thanks again you guys!

You will save a little money and get a nice runabout with an inboard/outboard rather than the cheap outboard rentals at the marina. After chatting with Robert for a few minutes about my years of experience boating, he went over a few things, hooked up the trailer and sent me on my way. To my surprise, he mentioned that he wouldn't be around when I returned the boat and trusted me to drop off. It had been a few years since I dropped a boat in the water and to be honest, it was one of my favorite parts of the day. It truly is like "riding a bike" and I impressed my wife with my boat ramp skills haha. The boat ran strong all day and buzzed the dam, made our way to Face Canyon and then cruised back to Wahweap. Perfect day on beautiful Lake Powell. The only drawback from the rental was the boat was missing a dock line (didnt really care because I just stopped to grab a few things at the store). Also, there was no stereo but like most boat rental spots, they don't rent stereos, they rent boats. I brought a bluetooth speaker and it worked out just fine. I will 100% be renting from them again and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone with boating experience looking to rent a nice runabout and save a few bucks.

We called the morning of to check for availability, and Tony was incredibly helpful. Despite it being a busy holiday weekend, she was able to accommodate us and even provided a valet service to the marina, which made the whole process so easy. Compared to other options, B&T was the most affordable! Tony really went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared and safe. She walked us through all the essential equipment we would need for the day--including a waterproof bag, water bottles, and life jackets--and gave us a detailed map with some fantastic local pointers. She also took the time to give us a thorough tutorial on how to operate the jet ski, along with some great safety tips and tricks that really helped us feel confident on the water. Tony is such a pleasant, friendly person with a great sense of humor, and she made our day even better. We spent four hours on the water (from 12 PM to 4 PM), and although it was a busy holiday, Lake Powell is so massive that it never felt congested. The main canyon area she recommended was absolutely stunning, and since there were no kayaks around, we were really able to enjoy the speed of the jet ski. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back to rent from B&T Marine again!

Toni who was able to accommodate for us wasn't in town but still made this experience possible for us! Really appreciated that. Definitely a memorable trip for us.

He informed us that the boat would be delivered by 9:00 a.m., so we left for the marina. Unfortunately, the delivery driver, Ellory, arrived about 20 minutes late. While both Elijah and Ellory were courteous and pleasant to work with, we were extremely disappointed with the condition of the boat. The boat appeared very old and poorly maintained. The speedometer only worked intermittently, the steering wheel was sticky, and the steering alignment was noticeably off. Based on the condition of the boat, it did not meet our expectations. Although the staff members we interacted with were kind and professional, the quality and maintenance of the boat were disappointing. In the future, I would recommend inspecting the boat in person before heading to the marina.

We had no idea what we were getting into, but they assured us and told us everything we needed to know to feel confident that we'd be able to make the trip there and back. They make the process so easy every step of the way. This experience is a MUST for anyone interested in nature. My daughter and I did this together and I will never forget it. It took teamwork, communication, a sense of adventure, and a willingness to go with the flow--all things that add up to some serious bonding. We'll cherish this experience for the rest of our lives!

I'll say the customer service at the shop was amazing; REALLY nice girls. We asked if we could take…read moreour boards there. She said yes but the benefit of using them was they carried the boards down and up a steep hill. We were there on Saturday April 25th. So we rented two paddle boards and she warned us about the winds. It was like $155. She was nice so we went for it. We get to the site and are waiting around. They haven't even taken the boards off the truck, but we were fine waiting. Layla finally made it up the HILL and had 2 boards taken off the truck and laid on the ground. I asked if any of the MANY men who were there and carrying kayaks down, was going to carry them down. She said no, you carry them. And that hill was STEEP. I figured meh, okay. I was annoyed since we were told they'd be ready for us at the bottom. Layla carried my paddle. Once I saw the hill, I was even more annoyed but I already paid $155 plus $30 entry to the lake. When we got to the bottom, she mentioned when we got back I had to carry it back up. I said I'm not doing that. lol. She held my leash so I could climb on my board. Not an easy task where we were. The paddle boarding was rough but we knew that, the girls at the office warned us. 5 miles later we returned. I STRUGGLED getting off the board and trying to haul it up by myself, my body was shaking and I was visibly exhausted. A young man who worked for this place, WATCHED me struggle. Asked how it was, I said it sucked. He mentioned me carrying the board up that steep hill, while I was shaking from exhaustion and out of breath, and I said "I'm not doing that" and he replied with "why is it heavy?" I did carry my life jacket and paddle...but after that comment I REALLY didn't want to. Layla gave me a water at the top and said to take a breath, I was breathing very heavy. I'd say don't rent paddle boards. You will have to carry them up and down the hill and will get no assistance getting off the board either. But they did carry the kayaks and help those people who also paid like we did, in and out of the kayaks. So maybe rent those and not the paddle boards.

I think compared to many reviews, I feel fortunate that it could've been worse. The pros were we had a professional airline and military aircraft pilot who could fix and understand all the mechanical and electrical dilemmas we had, we rented a starlink from a guy in Page Az which made music and entertainment actually existent. That is a pro move. It was $144 for 5 days that was more than worth it. Starlink gets 6 stars. Their satellite tv setup was janky af and even the pilot couldn't get it to work because cables were literally missing. But that's fine, we're there for the friends, family, views and water. The "staterooms" were better than sleeping in a coffin but the mattresses were the next step up from a jail mattress. Yes. I've been to jail lol. There was a small mouse running about. But it was kinda of a cute little dude. We got stuck on shore, but I blame that on us not being professional houseboaters. We did contact them over radio and they came and got us out. So I give them props for that. I'm an outdoorsman and I like roughing it, so I was fine with a lot of what went down on this trip, but my wife... different story. If you go on this trip, your perception is key. Expect the worst and hope for the best. Make sure someone in your crew is a badass with mechanical stuff. Check-in felt a bit like standing in a slow car rental line. We waited about 15 minutes while a line formed behind us, and there was a form with disclaimers to sign before getting the room key. Our room was in Building 7. The rooms feel dated, and housekeeping seemed inconsistent. We had 2 bath towels, 2 makeup towels, and 1 hand towel, but no washcloths and no pool towels. The front desk said pool towels should be in the room, but there are none available at the pool itself. Our bathtub drain was clogged, so water pooled during showers, and one of the bed frames had something unpleasant on the fabric that clearly should have been cleaned. Amenities were also disappointing for a property charging a nightly resort fee. The hot tub jets were broken, the water wasn't warm, and it looked pretty dirty. The pools are not heated, so they were ice cold in April. Ironically, the hot tub appeared to finally start working the morning we checked out. Food options on site include the Driftwood Lounge, a breakfast deli, and the Rainbow Room for buffet and dinner (reservations required for dinner). The buffet was just okay -- next time I'd skip it and order an entrée instead. The hot & spicy wings at the lounge were decent. Overall, I gave it 3 stars because the staff were very kind and the views are fantastic. If we stayed again, we'd come with the expectation of enjoying the scenery rather than the amenities.

Too much noise from upper room and hallway. The front desk folks need some hospitality training. I'm sorry you're busy but give each customer a bit of hospitality and common courtesy. I'm sure if this was our only destination and we took advantage of some of the on site offerings, it might have been different. As it was, we were just there to sleep and would have been better off at a chain hotel.
