    Classic Quesadilla

Save your money and go to the Spanish restaurant next door or Taco Bell. They should literally embarrassed to serve this 16 dollar quesadilla. It's not even cut properly it's falling apart. They didn't even bother to cut the veggies that you have to pay extra for and it's flavorless. I wouldn't waste my hard earn money here again.

Quaint place in the neighborhood... Cant believe no one's talking about this restaurant... I go with my bowling buddies every Tuesday night and we try and see who can eat the tsunami the fastest... It's always Liam... LOL. Check out his seven pictures on the wall of this fine establishment... Their giant cookie for dessert is also to die for.

Place is Going down hill!! They changed the good things on the menue! Now it's sloppy mess and inflation really hit a hold on their prices. 58.00 for 4 kids to eat . The only thing that's still good is the salsa .

Veggie bowl with some salsa verde. Not good

The food here is not good. Been twice and both times were really bad. I always try places twice before passing judgment. Many of the dishes are just covered in a handful of shredded lettuce or cold cheese. Pretty much the least artisanal version of tacos/Mexican fast casual possible. It's counter service which I like and they ask for a tip at checkout which is par for the course nowadays but annoying nonetheless. There is a salsa bar and plenty of parking. Small portions and prices are per taco (most of them are $6 or so). Skip this place.

It's supposed to be a chicken quesadilla.

We have ordered a few items from Surf Taco & decided they should just close. We typically make our own tacos & quesadillas but decided to try out Surf Taco. We usually give an establishment a 3-strike chance, but 2 was enough in this instance. We picked up our orders each time & the place was empty on both occasions. Today we noticed another Mexican restaurant that was packed, & we now know why.

Really regret going here. Tried to order a shrimp taco on a hard shell and was told it's not possible, only chicken and beef hard shell tacos. Asked if we could order a side of hard shells and they said no because they are pre-made... I'm hoping the employee was wrong and every taco isn't made in the morning and sits out all day, but who knows. Nothing can be made to order for people with allergies, apparently. Nothing seemed fresh and $6 for one taco with 4 tiny, cold shrimp on it is crazy. Ended up paying almost $40 for one burrito and three tacos. never again. RIP

    Chicken burrito. Just ok.

Nothing exceptional about this place. I had a chicken burrito which came with rice, beans and it tasted just ok. Food wasn't bad but I was expecting the it to be a little more authentic but this is more of a Taco Bell fast food style. Actually "not so fast food" since I had to wait about 20 to 25 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. There's another Mexican restaurant one block away, I will probably give it a try next time.

    Below average food & service.

Less than 1 star. I have ordered from Princeton, lacey, Manasquan, point Pleasant Beach, hoping for something correct each time. Every location, the same menu item is different. Not in a good way. Spacey staff; super clueless. They have no idea what is going on and/or what you ordered. I have not received a correct order at any location. In person or over the phone, at any location, to get your order corrected, is refused . Less than a basic taco joint, at best.

I love fish tacos. I've eaten them in California and I've eaten them in Florida. I've probably eaten too many. The fish tacos weren't even close (flour tortillas, really?) to California's or Florida's. The restroom was the best thing about the place because I was sick after the first one. It didn't taste very good, and it wasn't like I was sick ahead of time. I returned from the restroom, got my drink and the basket and tossed the rest of my food. $11 down the drain, so to speak. The person who took my order was friendly and helpful, as was the person who delivered my food.

Admittedly I detest surf taco Folks are friendly enough, prices are reasonable however in my opinion the food is just tasteless. The ONLY reason I eat there is because of my wife and children who absolutely adore the place. It seems that no matter what I order I have to douse it in their homemade salsas (the reason for 2 stars) Last visit I had a chimichanga with chicken, it tasted as if the chicken was simply boiled and thrown together with ither tastless items. I was asking the family surf taco or this authentic mexican restaurant 2 doors down (dona julio)....yep you guessed it I lost again... Big girl had a tossed salad in a tortilla shell My wife and the little had nachos...again flavorless Their salsa and chips are passable. I guess I just dont get surf taco and thats ok.

Stopped in here during a recent trip and loved the food and vibe of the place. It definitely has a beachy feel inside. They have so many different taco options it was tough to choose. I ended up going with a buffalo chicken taco and a surf taco, which was a classic fish taco. Both were sooo good. It is tough to say which was my favorite. I also ordered a side of their waffle fries which were delicious. Will definitely stop back in next time I am in the area!

We needed an easy pick up lunch on a Sunday and Surf Taco was recommended by a friend. The Coronavirus pandemic is occurring and Surf Taco has been open for pick up. We ordered online 20 mins before picking up. I called when we arrived and the employee inside place our meal in a bag out front on a table - I walked up and grabbed it - easy peasy! We got our meal home and it was DELICIOUS! I ordered the veggie taco & mahi taco - both tasted very fresh and well seasoned/spiced. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Soldier burrito and he loved it. Generous amount of sauce and he was happy with the chicken. They also gave us chips in the bag with our tacos/burritos and some salsa as well. We will definitely order from Surf Taco again!

We are taking a short vacation down the shore and my significant other never had surf tacos in the past so I took him here! When we got there I realized that this is the Original surf taco which was very cool! Every time I tried surf taco was always an amazing experience! -great customer service - tasty food! - fresh ingredients - generous portions - very unique looking place The food was excellent as always (I had the garlic shrimp tacos and he had mahi mahi tacos) The shrimp was really good-- not too much garlic-- and the mahi mahi was very meaty (big portion) . If you are looking for something quick this is definitely the place to go! A lot of to go deliveries which is great jf you have friends over and want something dif than chicken fingers, pizza etc. Ps . Extra points for having paper straws and a poster for protecting our oceans from plastic!!!!! Great job guys!

But, once i took a bite of this high school looking lunch taco i almost cried. The beans were definitely borrowed from the county jail. It has to be illegal to serve that slop to humans. The rice could've been a dehydrated snack for astronauts. Should've just ordered from Taco Bell if I knew this food would be so tasteless. I'm never coming back, but definitely come here if you want to throw up after.

Every thing thrown in, chicken was dry and all at the bottoms covered by the chips. the cheese wasn't even real shredded cheese it was literally nacho cheese you get in a can. it tasted like taco bell. barely ate any of it. for my main dish I got the steak ranchero. Definitely better than the nachos but it wasn't bad. it was decent I thought. also the inside, the pictures in the wall would fall off the wall bc it was held up by push pins. they need a remodel or something. Our waitress was friendly but I would probably not come back, a lot of better places to go.

A Red Bank must try restaurant....Kitchen Tex-Mex has outstanding authentic Mexican food…read more Ample seating can accommodate a lot of guests so I wouldn't estimate you could always get a table. The menu is extensive so there are a lot of options and undoubtedly something for everyone. Guacamole and chips were fresh, when eating the salsa the green one is rather spicy so keep that in mind (we love spicy so it was perfect). Tacos as an option is great because you can get them all the same or mix it up and order fish, pork, shredded pork and or sausage. The meat is slow cooked and accompanied by melted cheese, onions, and cilantro.....the perfect combination to dance on your Palate. The fish taco was lightly breaded chunks of fish and was not in the slightest bit greasy. I would highly recommend you order a horchata drink....it's a non-alcoholic, sweet, and refreshing drink. Horchata is made by blending white rice and cinnamon sticks in water and letting them soak overnight. After the rice and cinnamon are discarded, the remaining liquid is then flavored with vanilla, sugar, and ground cinnamon.....a must try and a drink you will crave all the time.

Since many Mexican restaurants serve them automatically, seeing them as a paid appetizer felt a bit disappointing. Fortunately, the entrees more than made up for it. The Shrimp Fajitas arrived sizzling hot and packed with flavor, featuring perfectly seasoned shrimp and fresh vegetables. The Shrimp Quesadilla, prepared fajita-style, combined those same bold flavors inside a crispy tortilla and was a standout dish. The Blackened Seafood Burrito was another excellent choice, loaded with well-seasoned seafood and substantial enough to satisfy a healthy appetite. What keeps us coming back to 10th Avenue Burrito Co. is the consistency. The food is always flavorful, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.

We also have been coming to 10th ave for years and it's a favorite for the whole family. My wife and I have been coming since we were in college and now we bring our kids. Sure maybe the food has changed over the years and gotten a little more expensive but what hasn't? We love to come for some of their special nights like Quesadillas on Wednesdays or wings on Thursdays. Their "Baby Dilla" is an unbeatable deal for the kids, I think it is $4 for a small chicken and cheese quesadilla... and the staff is always super accommodating to our little ones! You know what you're getting at 10th ave, a cold beer, good wings, chill people, and a nice night out in Belmar we will keep coming back for years to come.
