Updated Review: I originally gave them 4 stars, but my experience with their "one month free unlimited wash" with purchase promotion changed that. I signed up, canceled through their website as instructed, and even confirmed in person during my last wash that I wouldn't be charged. The next morning, I was charged anyway. I called corporate, submitted an online ticket, and heard nothing back. I went in person a day or two later to ask about corporate turnaround time (about 4 days) and decided to wait it out. Over the next several weeks, I opened three more tickets and made multiple calls--each time with no response. After not hearing back for 5+ days on every ticket, I went in person again. They submitted a ticket from their end, and I explained that I had now been charged twice after canceling. They told me the turnaround was 24-48 hours. I waited again. Nothing. They escalated it, but said that was all they could do. When I asked for a manager (not associate manager) to call me, I was told they wouldn't. They could simply "follow up" with the manager and resubmit the ticket. Eventually, someone from corporate called--only to blame the car wash location for management changes. But my frustration wasn't with the local staff; it was with corporate ignoring every ticket and voicemail for over a month. I had to show them detailed logs just to get a refund. I received a half-hearted apology and no offer of goodwill--not even a free wash. They said they'd "look into" the issue before processing the refund, and at that point I told them I didn't care. I just wanted the membership canceled and my money returned. Their internal investigation wasn't going to benefit me at all and was for them to figure out to better their customer service. It's unfortunate because I actually had decent experiences here before all this, and I would have kept coming back. Surf Thru Express Car Wash is a bit hidden behind a plaza, so it may be easily missed if you are coming from the main street. Hit or miss service - I feel like it is better when we come here on weeknights compared to weekends. They are usually a bit short on the weekends, so everything is slow, even if you need help, it will take a long time - not the fault of the employees, but more on the management. There is an employee inside their station at the entrance with 3 lanes (1 lane (closest to the employee's station) for the employee to help assist you, 1 lane for you to pay via the machine or to scan your physical membership card, and 1 lane if you have a membership sticker on your windshield). I feel like 9/10 times, the middle lane where you can scan your physical membership card and pay via the machine does not work for either kinds of transactions. The first line with the help usually takes forever and if you are in the middle lane trying to get help too, they prioritize people in the first line, so you are going have to wait awhile - they even prioritize people who need help in the 3rd line over you, even if you had arrived first. When you first enter the actual car wash, there is an employee at the start of the wash guiding your car onto the track to make sure your wheels are aligned with it, then they will spray down your windshield and you will go through the machine. The wash is decent - there is usually still some spots after the wash. After that, you can go around to the other side to use their complimentary self-serve vacuums and air nozzle tool afterwards. Their vacuums are pretty strong compared to a lot of the car washes I have been to and the air nozzle tool helps the drying process. read more

The new management is absolutely non-responsive. Not only did they make changes unannounced with anyone who had share plans, they started removing features while increasing prices. The last time I went there on 9/13/25, I had the extreme surf #1 or whatever it's renamed to and the drying mechanism at the end didn't come down. I went back to the front and the attendant sent me through again and the drying mechanism didn't work again. I walked back and the attendant indicated since there is a change of management and I have roof rails on my car that maybe that's why it didn't go down? On top of that many of the vacuums especially the ones on the ends closest to the wash exit have no suction whatsoever. Not even turned on. I took my truck through Surf Thru Express Car Wash, expecting a simple, safe wash. Instead, their machine ripped a chunk of paint off my vehicle--and let me be clear, my paint was in perfect condition before I went through. I immediately spoke to the manager, who acknowledged the damage and submitted a claim. I thought they would do the right thing and cover the repair. Nope. They denied my claim, leaving me stuck with the cost of fixing something their car wash caused. Now, I have to pay out of pocket to repair damage that never should have happened in the first place. This place is a joke. I've come to this place once before and it's never been a problem. This time I came in they asked me to sign some automatic payment agreement saying it's their new system. I normally use another surf thru and I already have a membership. I told him I have a plan and my current plan is a different price than they have listed. I don't know why this guy was asking me to sign another agreement. Now I'll have to call in and make sure they don't change my price or double charge me. I have no idea what they're doing. I already have a share card and monthly plan. It's so ridiculous. Their pressure washer sprays weren't working and couldn't spray my car to get the dirt off the car. Then their blow dryer at the car wash was filthy and mostly made the whole car full of black dirt and filth. What's the point of washing the car if it's just going to spray all this grime at the last step of the wash and dirty the car all over again. It's horribly noticeable because my cars white, maybe darker cars don't notice. Then at the vacuums, I found out their vacuums don't work well. The air sprayer barely has any air, is super weak. I had to keep pumping and squeezing the blower is constant spurts just to try and get it to spray what I wanted to and it still didn't work well. This place is definitely not well taken care of and most of the stuff doesn't work correctly, including the staff. I wouldn't come to this place again if I don't have to. It took forever for the associate to get the three cars ahead of us through the pay station. The associate was going in the office and back to the waiting cars multiple, multiple, multiple times on all three cars. The car directly in front of us had some sort of issues do the manager had to come out and talk to them and it took a while to resolve. At that point there 7 cars behind us. The manager should have raised the gate and had the problem person pull his car over so the associate could continue to check cars in. Bad customer service. Three weeks ago we went to this car wash and at the end of it we heard a horrible noise and my Tesla model 3 got stuck and I had to put it on drive mode and manually get out and when we got out we noticed my car got scratched and dented under one of the doors. The run the car was way too fast even when not busy. Car was still dirty after I went through. Not impressed.

Service is lacking. The sides of the car are supposed to be soaped down before entering the wash. Only one side has been staffed for over a year and today he was more concerned about getting the cars in the track than taking care of the car entering the wash. The wheels are supposed to be sprayed. if I didn't have a gift card to use up I would go someplace that shows more customer service. read more

Wouldn't recommend. Their tunnel machines are broken. The drying towel at the end of the tunnel left a nasty film on my windshield. Half the tunnel brushes didn't even touch the car. Bird poop was still left on the car. I asked for a microfiber towel and the employee tried to charge me money for it. I ended up spending money at another car wash to fix their car wash tunnel equipment malfunctions to make it look somewhat clean. Would not recommend again. Along with others, I too had an issue with a few spots not being reached by the scrubbers. However, the main thing that made me feel this value was completely worth it, was the attendant at the beginning who told me "if there is a spot that is missed, drive around and tell them you would like a re-wash for free." I was very pleased with this because I felt that was completely fair, and would only take another few minutes. Plus, I understand that scrubbers may not reach every car that are different sizes. I was in dire need of a car wash and I have passed by this car wash quite a few times and it reminded me of this amazing car wash spot I went to in SoCal so I decided to give it a try. First thing that was odd was there was no listing of the different washes or the pricing, I had to pull in and ask the attendant the information and then she handed me a car with the washes and prices. They had 4 different options ranging from $12 -$18 and they have a membership that you can purchase as well, since my car was extremely dirty I went with the Extreme Surf Wash for $18. This car wash included an extreme wax, 2 step body brightener, rainx surface protectant, tire shine, triple foam, wheel cleaner and undercarriage wash. I wanted to add buff n' dry for an additional $3 but they said it wasn't available. Sounds like a good car wash right? Wrong!! After the car wash was complete I pulled into the self-service area to vacuum my car and check everything out and I was highly disappointed. The car still had spots on it, you could still see dirt on the car, the tires and rims were still extremely dirty and the car was just very wet. While the vacuums came in handy for my dirty floor mats that's about all that I was satisfied with. I think I prefer to go to a car wash where they are hand washing and hand drying the car and making sure everything is clean. I would like to get my money's worth and have a 100% clean car not a kinda clean car. I will not be back. read more

I love the green initiatives that this car wash is taking! They recycle the water, have recycling bins conveniently located when cleaning out the interior of your car, and their shade structures for vacuuming are solar carports. The shade under them is amazing by the way- saved us when vacuuming out the car today. We had a coupon so we decided to try the car wash out. I'll admit that my car wasn't too dirty (I like to keep it clean) so I'm not sure how the outcome would be if you had bird droppings or heavier build up... but My car came out clean, shiny, and looking good as new. Features I like about the carwash include: 1. Cashier provided us with a wet wipe, garbage bag, and our scent choice of air freshener for the interior. (I loved this touch! Never been offered an air freshener before) 2. She also offered us coffee. I personally thought this was odd, but I'm sure some people take advantage of this and enjoy the hospitality. They also had dog biscuits and suckers for your little ones. 3. The air nozzles available for use are an unusual and great feature. I do see that how the vacuum hoses are mounted could pose an issue if you were in a larger vehicle or it was a busy time. The hoses are taking up a lot of space between the parking spaces. The other car wash that I've frequented has the houses mounted in the same place, but the head of the vacuum is mounted toward the front of the carports so that the hoses are pulled tighter and taking up less space. I could see value in reconsidering how the hoses hang. I also think bigger/better enter an email signage on Valley would be helpful. They promote services for nice tire shine and the machines have ONLY been shining one side of the car's tires... noticed issue since like June/July 2023... every time we ask about this issue, we get different responses (see pictures of evidence) 2). When inquiring about this issue and support with getting remaining half of tires shined, have gotten services that include ("wait a few mins, I'll be right back" when tire shine for two tires can take about 1 min or so; "drive all the way to the other side" by vacuuming area). One can get rewashed but it is inconvenient. The person rinsing the car only does the left side and the back but never the right side of the car. I purchased the monthly 5 car deal. The day before the next renewal. I took my car in for a wash but the next day I took another car for a wash knowing the renewal just occurred. I was told I only had 4 washes left. The reason being, the wash the day before the renewal was counted as one use of the renewal. This is Total BS!!!! Be careful with this company. STAY AWAY! DO NOT WASH YOUR CAR HERE!!! I took my mother's truck to this car wash and they damaged the upper side of it. I took pictures of the damage that was directly caused by their low-quality technology that is obviously not properly adjusted to wash cars. I even filled out a "claim" form with them. It's very clear that they're liable for the damages caused to my mothers truck. My truck went into the car wash fine, and came out with damage. I was certain they would pay for the repairs needed to the truck, as it was directly caused by their machine. A week later I hear back from them. I just paid for the express car was which was $12 and thought it was a great deal. Exterior: 8/10 - got all of the sap off which was the main point of the car wash for me. There was still some kind of seed that was still left one, but even if I wash by hand it's hard to get those off. Interior: 11/10 - I have never used a vacuum this strong before. The attachment made it great for getting in most of the crevices. They have air guns which were great for getting in the other crevices and cup holders. Lesson learned for next time, use air gun before the vacuum since I then I had to re-vacuum. Will definitely be returning and will consider getting one of the monthly memberships read more

While I give the staff an A+ for courteous service, the equipment that used to be in great condition now needs a lot of maintenance and upkeep. I went early this morning and was the only person using the vacuum, and the suction level was very poor. My wife recently had a similar experience, where the vacuum she used suddenly deposited sunflower seeds (that weren't from her car...GROSS!) onto her floor mats. Looking around, I could see that most of the rubber pads blocking unused vacuums were worn out and not functioning. The owner appears to be pulling profits out, but not putting it back into the business. Trash is also all over the ground. read more

Well, Surf Thru Express lives up to the name and then some! You can literally be in and out of here in less than 10 minutes! That's including a quick vacuum too! My go-to selection is the $12 express wash (includes self serve vacuum). No frills. Service is excellent too! The staff members are always friendly and greet you with a smile. I would love to sign up for the annual membership but it is only limited to one vehicle. I like most households have two vehicles. read more
