I believe he had been the most qualified and caring dentist that I have came across. I was with my adult dentist after my perio-dentist for a good time after a series poor experiences. It was so bad, I spent a year not using the new dentures at all because I had spent so much money, I just spent the year without it in my mouth. So, don't let this happen to you. IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING BEYOND THE NORMAL CAVITIES, FILLINGS AND CROWNS - FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. The office staff seems to handle things well and no one seems busy in the least. However, I have spent months calling and emailing trying to get the next stages of care for my kids set up without any reply. Finally I got a randomly sent (not in response to my emails) reply about setting up care, and was able to connect with someone. Set up the appointment needed for my youngest. They knew what type of appointment it was because they quoted me the price for it, and it was not a cleaning. Forty minutes before the appointment, when I have spent days prepping my autistic kid for the break in routine, I get a call asking why I'm coming in and saying the treatment is no longer needed. It was implied that I had made a regular cleaning appointment, which I 1) did not do, and 2) those are covered by our insurance and would not have cost anything. I was frustrated that my child missed out on this treatment due to the office's lack of communication with me, and I shared as much. Not a single apology. I was told they could see that they had returned "a call" and had not been able to leave me a voicemail. I called multiple times, have never had problems with voicemail not working, and had also emailed asking to set up services, which were not replied to. I cannot recommend this office for dental care. I feel awful that I let it go this long; I should have moved on after a few weeks of nonresponse instead of waiting a few months. I just thought we could get back on track with them. I don't believe they want our business and we will move on.

As I have visited twice I will contribute my take on The Center but it is not one of a long-time client. The offices are very well-designed and truly provide "one stop" dental services. The staff are very friendly. As an incoming patient I was able to take a conducted tour. This is a very impressive and logical office set up in an easy to find location with ample parking and comprehensive services and state of the art equipment. I was made aware of The Dental Assistance Savings Plan via Kleer.com at the outset, and am considering it as I retired from work with COBRA coverage from an insurance which is out of network for The Center. I read the Savings Plan form carefully and believe that I understand it. A decision should be made shortly. There seems to be confusion concerning billing practices at the Center. As I see it it is up to the patient to ask questions, take notes if needed and to make sure that they fully understand The Center's billing and receivables requirements. The person that I talked to is Shari, whom I talked to at The Center after wrapping up my last appointment. She is a very good billing manager and was very helpful. Thank you.

My last dentist I went to told me he needed to shave my gums down next appointment. That was the last time I went to him. I found this office by referral and I'm happy I did. I really liked the initial examination. They examined my teeth, mouth and gums with x-rays and by sight. After that a contingency payment plan was worked out as far as correcting the issues with my teeth/gums. I really liked that. I was able to schedule my next appointment and pay half for the procedure. I needed my gums scraped of bacteria and the stains on the bottom removed (from drinking tea). I was introduced to Jeanine Raper on my initial visit as the Registered Dental Hygienist. Jeanine was nice and pleasant and assured me that I wouldn't feel a thing. On the day of the appointment, I was nervous but Jeanine was reassuring and pleasant. She rubbed the topical anesthetic on my gums before using a needle to administer a stronger anesthetic. She put on some soothing music and sang to me through the entire procedure. When she was done, I was elated with the procedure. Not only did she remove the bacteria and plaque from my gums but, the stains on my teeth were gone. And I didn't feel a thing. I am looking forward to going back to let her do my left side. I am looking forward to having a better smile.

Going to her office is like visiting family…read more My mother lives in Arkansas, and when she was trying to figure out whether to get dentures or not, I had her come up to see Dr. Laura because I trust Dr. Laura to give an honest assessment of the situation. My son has a rare genetic dental issue, and Dr. Laura took it upon herself to do a ton of research and training on his diagnosis in order to help him. My whole family goes and sees her every 6 months, and even though nobody ENJOYS going to the dentist, we always look forward to seeing her.

I hate that I did not listen to the other reviews…read more I visited this dentist for a routine cleaning and examination because she was in network with my insurance. During the appointment, she briefly pointed to something on my X-rays but never clearly explained what she saw, what the diagnosis was, or what treatment she was recommending. She began numbing my mouth and proceeded with significant drilling without first walking me through the procedure. When she finished, I had to ask, "Did you fill a cavity?" She simply answered, "Yeah," and continued talking about unrelated things. I left the appointment without a clear understanding of what had been found or exactly what had been done. Once the numbness wore off, the tooth felt rough and uneven, with something hanging from the bottom that I could feel with my tongue. I returned to my regular dentist. He smoothed and corrected the area. He told me that he had not seen a cavity on his recent X-rays, although he acknowledged that it was possible she found something that had not been visible before. He also told me the new pain could have resulted from the drilling and that I might eventually need a root canal if it did not resolve. It has now been 6months, and the tooth is still bothering me. I had never experienced pain in that tooth before this appointment. The dentist also recommended crowns for all of my teeth and submitted an estimate to my insurance, which later appeared on my Explanation of Benefits. I was never given a clear explanation for why such extensive treatment was necessary, especially since I had no pain, visible damage, loose teeth, or other known problems. I cannot speak to her motives, but I can speak to my experience. I did not feel properly informed, I did not feel included in decisions about my treatment, and I am still dealing with pain that began after the procedure. I do not recommend this dentist.
