Amy is an angel...My son ask for a last minute alteration for his school pants and we found Susan Tailoring & Alteration is the closest to our neighborhood. She said it will be ready by Monday but we told her we need it by Monday because it's a mandatory for my son's school uniform...so she said we can pick it up Saturday before 4 pm. Being a forgetful person 4 pm have past and just realized that I missed the pick up time. We panicked that night because my son will be in trouble for my mistake. I took my chance and call Amy on Sunday and she answered my call. I begged if there's a way I could pick it up on a Sunday but she said she's out of town. But late in the afternoon I receive a call from Amy and said if I could come. She opened the shop on Sunday just for us. I will be forever grateful for what she did for us. PARKING: Easy to find street parking. SERVICE: I have had a few things altered there. Jeans, suit pants, suit jackets, and khaki pants. The turn around time is fast depending how complicated the alteration is. The price is fair. The price for a simple cutting and hemming of jeans is only $4. I have been satisfied with all my alterations. My pants and blazers fit great. The alterations look very professional. It does not look cheap and tacky like other places I have gone to. I brought my BHLDN wedding dress here and it turned out absolutely perfect! I also brought another small piece to be taken in a bit, which turned out nice as well. I can be quite particular, but she was super nice and patient with me. I had actually brought her a different dress first, that I completely changed my mind about after trying it on in the little fitting room. I called her about 10 mins after I'd dropped it off to tell her to wait and then brought her a new one a week later. She got the work done fast too, which I appreciated. Went there today to get my pants hemmed and this lady is very sweet I told her I had a job interview in an hour and needed them done quick, she said ok let's see what I can do in 15 min I was out the door and made it to my interview with 20 min to spare even tho I thought I was going to be late. And she is very affordable she does most in 1 to 2 days but specialises in getting them done within a few hrs same day service. I will go here for all my alteration needs and never pay more anywhere else! read more

Susan did an amazing job with my bridesmaid dress. When I brought it in, it was very long and had at least 4 layers of tulle. But she tailored it so perfectly to barely show my shoes. Also she tailored the inside layer slightly shorter than the tulles so that i wouldn't trip on the dress. read more

She expressed her concern with altering my wedding dress a certain way but we told her to do what she needed to do! We trusted her and figured that she knows what she is doing! I had two suits that fit so poorly that I never wore them anymore. Based on the yelp reviews I decided to give this place a shot. Also, I'm very picky and get frustrated when I when I give specific details about what I want, and then I don't get what I was after in the end. Susan Alterations is amazing! Those two suits are now my favorites to wear, and they fit perfectly and she delivered on every single little detail that I nitpicked over. I will always go back. I took the pants in on Monday and they were ready Thursday. Very good prices and they do what you ask. I'm so happy to say that Susan is really great at what she does. I had a dress for choir that needed to be hemmed and gathered at the waist it was for my 16 year old daughter for school. Susan asked me if I would like to add anything to the dress like a lining. She was willing to do more. Wow! This lady is great. She did a fantastic job with every pair of pants I took to her. I had a bunch of baggy jeans and she tapered them to look perfect. Every pair of pants I buy must be hemmed.
