Really wanted to love Sushi Box, but it missed the mark. We tried 3 different rolls, but each one the fish was hard, tasted fakey, and the seaweed wrappers were way too thick and tough, almost impossible to chew. I almost think less is more when it comes to filling the rolls, but they were so overstuffed, and not in a good way--ugh! Moving on....maybe the dumplings would be the saving grace ‍ Nope...overcooked gummy wrapper that stuck like glue--shoot! Giving them 2 stars because the staff was super sweet and they are new. Wanted to try this new spot, hoping for another good sushi option in the area. The sushi was okay. Not terrible, but nothing to write home about, either. Pretty pricey for the food and service. You order at the register, rather than have a server. They don't have lemon, which is odd for a sushi spot. And they charge extra for sauces like sriracha. And they don't have fountain drinks, only cans. Overall, not terrible but we will likely stick to our usual spots instead. read more

Sushi was very fresh. Reasonable prices for the quantity of food you get with each roll type. Have been here a few times and never been let down. They have both Sushi and Bento boxes and when it comes to the sushi, you will definitely find something you want given the variety available. I'd recommend ordering ahead if you're placing a to go order because you can be waiting a little bit there. They have to-go menus though which make it easy to keep in the car. Call them directly, don't use food ordering apps for pick up orders (it's cheaper for you and them). Glad they opened at the location you did so we had a good sushi place in this part of town! read more

It was okay. Nothing special about it. Both rolls were extremely tiny for what you pay for. Shrimp tempura was extremely fried to the point where it wasn't enjoyable. The shotgun till is cucumber wrapped and it wasn't wrapped.. messy. The miso soup is terrible. read more

We got a to go order here last night, it's a tiny place inside but a perfect take out place. I was able to place the order on their website which was super easy to use and customize your order. The won ton soup is amazing and a great portion! Also got shrimp tempura which came with a small scoop of rice. The Cali roll and shrimp tempura rolls are good portions too. We had lunch on a Friday and it wasn't busy at all. The Tuna Tower was good and the bikini roll was delicious (one of their limited times rolls). I got the miso soup which was decent. My wife got the Wonton Soup which was fantastic and a large portion. You could easily split it between two people. The Louisiana roll was good if you like baked rolls with crawfish, it was very large as well. Staff was helpful and greeted us when we arrived and left. read more

Service was bad! Placed online order their system tells me order will be ready in 20 minutes. I arrive at the restaurant 30 mins later and they tell me and many others arriving to pick up that the order is not ready and will be another 30 minutes. This was during lunch break so I could not wait. Then Grubhub tells me they will not refund money for at least 3 Bussines days. That's really unfair when is not our fault. The restaurant should update their pick up times. Never again! read more

Having lived for years in Japan and Korea, I've been to MANY sushi restaurants in my life. I wished to give this small local business a try. While some guests report pleasant experiences, mine was so-so. The California roll - a staple in any sushi restaurant - consisted of a blended mixture of imitation crab and a few 'other' ingredients. It was not the standard strip of imitation crab nestled beside carrot, radish, spinach, cucumber, and avocado wrapped in sushi rice. At best, it was the consistency of baby food wrapped in dry and hard rice - just old and stale. The Masago (smelt roe) Roll was no better. Again the old stale rice with a thin layer of roe atop. Not even soy sauce could soften the nearly crunchy rice. Even the nori was wilted and didn't stay wrapped around the rice. I was disappointed and will likely not return to 'try anymore.' read more

We sat at the bar and after waiting forever to even be acknowledged, the lady helping us came over and simply said, "What do you want?" with no greeting or friendliness at all. We waited over 35 minutes for our food, never once got checked on, and our drinks were never refilled. By the end of the meal, we had to close out our tab with a completely different employee because our server wasn't paying attention to us at all. The food may still be good, but the service completely ruined the experience. It's really upsetting to have such a bad experience at a restaurant my family has supported for so long.
