We came to celebrate my wife's birthday. We always dine in Friday nights, but this time we wanted to try hibachi and it was a Tuesday. Granted it was one of the snow days of 2026, I called around lunch time and spoke with someone to make reservations. I asked if i could make reservations and told her the occasion. She said they were not busy and it wasn't needed for the evening. She was pretty confident in our conversation and I even reconfirmed a couple times, so I said ok. Of course when we arrive for dinner, what happens? People got stir crazy and the place is packed. I told the hostess who took down our name the situation. My wife's birthday and I had called calling in the day. I even tried showing my call history, but no accommodations. We had to wait another 40 mins. Boy was my wife upset. She just got off work and had not eaten all day. My two littles were starting to loose it because it was well past their normal dinner time while waiting. Dealing with a hangry family, I tried to win my wife over buying drinks at the bar, but nothing could uplift the mood. When we finally got seated for hibachi, it was a better experience. The chef was personable and food delicious. The chef did ask if it's anyone's birthday and I also told our waitress. We did get to sing and they came out beating a drum with cheesecake. Closing the bill took longer than needed. I don't think we will come here to celebrate occasions in the future. read more

Came in last week after playing a round of golf with in-laws. We had about a 30 min wait (not uncommon for the area,without a reservation on a Friday night) but guy behind the bar (Mike) did ask us if we needed anything, while we waited, which was great. We were seated with a couple other families on the hibachi side and our waitress (Jenna) was on top of grabbing drink orders as soon as we sat down. We did wait a little for a chef to make it over but had even been asked/received a refill in the interim along with her taking our orders. Chef came out and confirmed our orders, did the usual song and dance along with the flips and twirls...was the usual hibachi experience. (Didn't get his name) Waitress was attentive and checked back in with us multiple times over the course of the meal for drinks and to drop off the check/ask about desert, but never felt rushed. Our server and hibachi chef were very friendly and accommodating, they were busy so moving very quickly but still took the tike to keep our waters topped and check in with us several times. The food was all great, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I really enjoyed the broth and cooked sushi rolls that we ordered. Their sauces were also all very good with the mix of hibachi proteins we ordered. There was plenty of rice and for the price it was all well worth it. The drinks we ordered were ok but i didn't think they were anything spectacular and i would have liked a higher end selection of alcohol. I went there on a Tuesday evening with friends , we got seated right away . The place was very clean and a pleasant atmosphere. We opted to have the hibachi and it didn't disappoint. The chef put in a good show for us and the whole group had a great time . The fried rice was very delicious ! I ordered Chilean sea bask and shrimp , my friends had steak and shrimp and we all enjoyed our food . I love that our server was very attentive, she made sure we are taken care of . The clear broth soup actually had flavor compared to most clear broth soups and the sushi was all fish, not one cheap cooked shrimp! Service was fast and very attentive, wow what an awesome presentation of sushi and sashimi for $20! Family dinner this month and we were celebrating my granddaughter's 13th birthday. All of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I use a walker and they were very helpful clearing a pathway to the restroom, holding doors etc which is always appreciated. We sat at a hibachi grill and the waiters, and chef were all delightful. My granddaughter got a birthday crown with lights to wear and they gave her special attention while they were cooking dinner. The food was great. I ordered chicken Hibachi with no rice and he asked me if I would like extra vegetables which was great. The rest of the family enjoyed their meals, we all had a variety of chicken, beef, or shrimp. The food was very flavorful and there was certainly plenty. I ended up taking half of mine home for another meal. My husband and I came here for the sushi only, so this does not reflect on the hibachi at all. The sushi was bland and sub par, and not worth $100 of what we ordered. The presentation of all the dishes were beautiful but it did not make up for lack of flavor from most special rolls we ate. Service was as expected for a Saturday night, busy and our server was kind. We kept ordering more rolls to see if we would be "wowed" by the next thing we ordered but sadly & increasingly became disappointed. We ordered: 1. Shrimp tempura roll since we saw many photos on yelp but the flavors were bland even with eel sauce. The inside had an ingredient that was watery (too much cucumber perhaps?) 2. Sashimi sampler: overall good (liked the salmon and tuna the best, yellowtail and sea bass were okay). 3. Salmon avocado roll: good flavor combination for a regular roll 4. Lobster rainbow: the soy paper was unpleasant and gave the roll a very strange texture 5. Tuna lover: best of what we ordered with good spicy tuna 6. Sunkissed: bland, could use a sauce (ponzu would pair nicely) 7. Toro (tuna belly) sashimi: not a melt in your mouth quality, but fair tuna flavor Unfortunately we wouldn't want to return based on the sushi alone. read more

Food look like dog food. Service Horrible. Today I had a horrible experience at this establishment. We arrived and placed our order: a Spicy Crunchy Yellowtail Roll and a Spicy Salmon Roll. When the food arrived, it looked like ground cat food--tasteless and very unappetizing in appearance. We called the server, and asked to have the dishes replaced because they didn't taste good and looked awful. Shockingly, he started making excuses and arguing with us, saying that's just how the food is and that we had to pay for it, among other things. I asked him to call the manager, and when she came over, she immediately took the waiter side. I calmly said I didn't want him to serve us anymore and just asked for the food to be taken back and replaced with something else. I even told them that if the issue was about paying for it, I would pay--but I was not going to eat it. To my surprise, the server called 911 to have us removed from the restaurant and issued a trespassing warning. Honestly, all I wanted was to enjoy a peaceful afternoon with my wife and try a new place close to home. But after this experience, I will never return. Customer service should always come first. If you don't know how to treat customers with respect, perhaps you should consider working in another field. read more

If you come with people you know it doesn't matter if your family is small or if you have a large group they will still charge you 18% gratuities. If your food is not to your liking it doesn't matter if you're an adult or kid they will still question you as to why you don't like your food. The entertainment varies per cook/chef so you may not receive all the flash you expect from a hibachi grill. The female manager customer service is horrible!
