This is a great restaurant for bulgogi and other Asian dishes, but I didn't love the sushi. When you order a roll with crab and cream cheese, usually it isn't a huge stick of each wrapped in fish. However, the bulgogi was amazing! read more

I was looking for a place to order some fried rice so I decided to try this place. I'm not sure why I haven't already tried this place since I pass it almost every day when I go to the post office. I actually decided to get the hibachi shrimp. I ordered it online for pickup. There was a bit of an issue on the pickup time through the ordering system but it got sorted through. The 2 people inside were very nice and friendly and my food was ready for me when I arrived. The food was surprisingly very tasty. The fried rice wasn't the best by itself but with the meal it was very good. Under the shrimp were vegetables that you would find at a hibachi grill. I got some yum yum sauce with my meal as well. Sushi Bachi offers sushi, Hibachi, and Korean bowls. Everything comes out in disposable bowls and you might need them as the portions are huge for a reasonable price. My little ones tried everything and they loved it. Seaweed Salad is a hit. The Miso Soup was a nice addition. The Sushi Rolls tasted fine. My favorite was the bowl of bulgogi, japchae, rice, veggies, and the incredible sauce. The Chicken Fried Rice was okay but the chicken was dry. The staff is extremely friendly as they greet you warmly, asked you not to clean up as they will do it, and were accommodating to our requests. Wow! This place was amazing-- from taste to quality. It was truly an express Japanese lunch spot. I ordered online and it was ready when I got there 5 minutes early. When I got to work, the pork bowl was still pretty hot. I have never seen a rice bowl with more meat than rice... the sauce they put in is to die for and accommodates so well with their marinated pork. Stopped in to get a quick lunch, and this will go on our regular rotation. It is counter service, but the food tastes like what you'd get at a hibachi restaurant, and the food better than many I've been to. I got a hibachi combination and a salad. The salad dressing was AMAZING and very fresh tasting. The chicken and shrimp were delicious, and I'm picky about shrimp not being overcooked. (It wasn't!) The veggies were fresh and not over or undercooked. Again - just right. My son had the bulgogi bowl with noodles (also available with rice) and said we could go here instead of his favorite bulgogi place across town that only be likes. Score! The rest of the family wasn't with us, so we will have to come back later this week, which is fine with me. The kid that was with me has already claimed the leftovers for himself tonight. The atmosphere is clean and inviting. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They took the time to go through the entire menu, as this was my first time eating here. I ended up going with one of their Korean Bowls and an Avocado Bomb. Both were VERY generous in size and tasted amazing! Right now they are doing 20% off for their Soft Opening, but I would pay full-price in a heartbeat! read more
