Okay we did the all you can eat $17.99 for lunch special . I love the options on the menu , they do charge if you don't finish it .. we had a bunch of different options. Service was cool need more workers . The waitress was really nice and gave some good advice on the options . Ambiance was very empty but quiet and perfect temp . They do have a bar Now the sushi itself was good not great . It was 7/10 . Some rolls were not fresh and some were . They were good except one shaggy dog. The bad news is we got sick . I haven't been able to eat anything. just broth and soup . I'm not sure what roll did it or the beef cause it was medium well . Not sure but I've been in bed Overall it's a nice place , great service has a bar and different options to eat from . Just make sure your food is fresh and you should be fine ! God bless read more

Fantastic AYCE menu at a great price! Sushi pieces are nicely cut and not full of rice. Tuna, salmon and yellowtail are our favorite and they were great! The roll options seemed to be mostly fried or tempura style with sauce which isn't want we typically like but the ones we tried (president, campaign, lucky and 99) were really good! Campaign and lucky were our favorite. Sushi is made fresh and comes out quickly, not buffet style which we really like. Also banana tempura with ice cream was a hit for our birthday boy. I have actually come to this restaurant several times and its sister Restaurant in Katy. Both are wonderful experiences the sushi in my case nagiri is always quite dependable however, the menu is quite limited. It appears as if they have a great deal of versatility in hand rolls certainly not something that I would focus on, but it appears to me that there's a great variety. The service is just wonderful quite efficient very helpful. If you need explanation for any of the hand rolls, they serve and very, very pleasant. The ambience is quite simple yet elegant very clean certainly no reason to object to stopping by and having a quick meal or perhaps something more elaborate. It has a very extensive bar and although otherwise stuck primarily to ice tea this particular day I did cap off my meal with a wonderful bourbon, which I greatly enjoyed. Love this place and our favorite waitress(s) are Anita and Lee. They are very accomodating and pleasant to talk to when you have them as your waitress. We alway make a habit to go at least once a week. Food is always great and love everything, especially the all you can eat and music is the best w/a warming, caring atmosphere. Our party of five dropped in for dinner. Our three dinner partners went with Japanese nachos and four sushi rolls to share. The Mrs and I ordered the Bento boxes. She got the pork katsu and I had tempura chicken. The Bento boxes came with veggie fried rice, miso soup, salad, dumplings, and tempura veggies. The Janpanese nachos and sushi rolls were freshly made and were plentiful. Mrs and I tried all the rolls and nachos. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. Our dinner partners ate all of the rolls. Our Bento boxes were ok. The pork katsu was over fried. The chicken tempura was moist. However the tempura batter was off, too heavy. The batter was not light and airy. The fried rice and dumplings were really good. Salad was fresh. The luke warm Miso soup tasted good. Mrs and I said we should've ordered the sushi instead. We will definitely skip the Bento boxes and go with the sushi rolls next time. Table service was very attentive and friendly. read more

If I were you, I would seriously reconsider dining here. Although the restaurant's exterior may look inviting, as a former employee, I can assure you the standards behind the scenes fall short. The kitchen has recurring issues with pests near the cooking area, and food handling practices are concerning. For instance, the house salad is sometimes drained directly over a floor drain, allowing ingredients to come into contact with the floor. Employees are frequently required to handle food without gloves, using bare hands on items that will be served to customers. Vegetables like tomatoes, which should appear fresh, are left exposed in the refrigerator for days before being served, and the outside of cucumbers often bears visible fingerprints. Additionally, if food is dropped on the kitchen floor, it's often placed back onto serving plates without being discarded. If the staff wouldn't eat the food themselves, they certainly shouldn't be serving it to guests. As the picture below: The bucket containing water and salad was placed next to a floor drain, where the employee drained the house salad. During this process, some lettuce fell onto the kitchen floor and was subsequently placed back into the basket without being discarded. read more

The service was terrible, I came for in for lunch during my lunch break and there wasn't a lot of people there, plus there were multiple waiters, so I was a bit confused on what caused the major delay of sitting down and getting my food. I finally had to get up and ask someone where my food was since I had waited +20 minutes for 2 rolls. The lady came to me and said the waiter forgot to give me my food, (it was on the serving table the whole time) I asked him that it took a long time and he gave me a passive aggressive response. People make mistakes, but acting like it wasn't a big deal was purely rude. I would recommend teaching the waiters/waitress basic respect and hospitality because they are clearly lacking here. read more

Was in the mood for sushi, and my in-laws suggested this place. We have a newborn and wanted a quick little date night after a long week. Big mistake! I know sushi is a form of art and takes a while to make, but I think they forgot about our table. We ordered way less than all the other tables and they all got their food way before us. Then we were ready to go and the staff started stalling everyone. It was odd, but we were ready to go. They took $5 off our ticket and finally said the credit card machines are down. I wish they told us that a long time ago because we could ran to the atm and paid cash. But we sat there for an hour and everyone looking for a staff member but they were no where to be found. Ordered sushi for delivery, my usual sushi place is take out and I wasn't driving anywhere today. Anyways, ordered from here and I was pleasantly surprised. The combo rice was amazing, so much texture with the different vegetables and great taste. I'm not a huge fan of onion so could have had a little less in my opinion but overall great. Got some calamari, delivery made then a little soggy so into the air fryer they went and they were snagged up fast. I got two rolls and they were good, not enough snow crab in my opinion as at the end of the roll on the right there was just tuna and no snow crab. Overall great experience. read more

Always love coming to Sushi Hana and have been coming here for years!!! They have an amazing lunch special with so many options available. The sushi is fresh and the service is great. Absolutely love there house salad - the dressing is amazing. The combination fried rice is a family favorite and is a large portion big enough to share. I get spicy mayo, eel sauce and crunchies on the side to dip my sushi in. Try it out if you love sauces! The have so many special rolls to pick from and simple ones too. I love the crunchy roll and tiger roll. We love coming here to celebrate a birthday or anniversary because they give you fried bananas and ice cream. It's so good! The calamari was good - a little smaller in size in comparison to other restaurant sizes. The sushi tower was great, but the size was also on the smaller end. Maybe good for a Chinese lunch special but probably would recommend Chang's instead. If you want sushi, then Mori is cheaper and Keepers is better. Sushi Hana has amazing and fresh sushi. The three roll combo for lunch is an incredible deal (spicy tuna roll, crunchy roll, and california roll for ~$13). We ordered the Big Mama roll and the Fry roll recently and they were both great. The Thai Seafood Curry is amazing, however there's an issue with how it's packed. We usually order from Sushi Hana to go, and when we get the curry, it ALWAYS leaks and spills all over the bag. It's really frustrating because the sauce that leaks is the best part of the dish. We told the manager and he blamed UberEats, which doesn't make any sense because this happens even when we order directly from Sushi Hana. read more

Wow! What a find in far west Houston. Just off the Westpark tollway at the Grand parkway is a yummy restaurant. I was very pleasantly surprised when we got turned around on our way to BBQ and ended up at Sushi Hana Fusion. The restaurant is located in a new commercial area. The interior is modern, new, and clean. We came for a meal at 4:30pm on a Saturday. We were promptly seated and our waitress was very attentive as well as helpful is making a decision on what to eat. We ended up with the unagi ($2.15 each) and maguro (8 pieces for $8.60) sushi. Both were delicious, fresh, and the pieces were large. The pink lady roll ($9.95) was huge and really yummy! The Japanese style fried rice ($8.50) was just ok to me, but my husband absolutely loved it. It was HUGE. The chicken teriyaki ($12) was was served on a sizzling platter with tons of sauce and lots of veggies. You also get miso soup and a salad with the fried rice and chicken teriyaki. I like the traditional ginger dressing on the salad, but the salad here was the best I've had at a Japanese restaurant. There is also a small room by the bathrooms that looks to be a party room. It looks like it can hold around 30 or so. Everything we had we liked and were impressed by the size and freshness of. If you are in the area, I'd head straight over there! It's awesome and I can tell it's a popular place because it was totally filling up by 5pm. I'm not sure if they take reservations, but I would make one for prime dinner times. This spectacular roll is called Sex on the Beach. Some of the ingredients are rolled salmon, carrot?, bacon, caviar, fried onions, all topped with a special sauce that is an absolute decadent taste bite. This place was good! But If you're thinking about going to this one vs the one on Mason, go to the one on Mason! This location was super slow with MORE staff. The staff on Mason is super sweet and QUICK! When we went to the Westheimer location it took them 40 mins to bring out our food when the Mason location would of taken 10 minutes max. During COVID times, they have been allowing dining and they have been making sure that their customers are seated away from each other. All of their waiters are wearing masks! My go-to order is always the 5 cooked roll combo with a Mandy roll on the side. Their fish tastes fresh and the combo gives you lots of rolls to try - perfect for sharing! Their Mandy roll is a deep-fried sushi roll with imitation crab and cream cheese. They serve it with a sweet sauce on the side which really highlights the roll. The restaurant is really cute - they have booths for groups as well as tables for smaller parties. They also feature a couple of sushi chefs making sushi and a display of fish. read more

There's always a lot of cars parked outside, so we popped on in. The servers were very busy, yet very friendly and helpful. The menu is quite extensive and my be a little intimidating if you're not familiar with this cuisine. My better half ordered the Cajun Roll (I think it's called) and I had the Chicken Bento Box. We both had soup and salad before the main entree. Both were very delicious. Both orders were great and we knew immediately we would be back. Sushi Hana was a great family lunch spot on Sunday! We came here as a big family of around 25-30 people and took up the private room in the back. Despite our large family, the service was great! Everyone ordered something different on the menu, and everything turned out as good as expected. My favorites were their pork katsu bento box, calamari salad, or their 5 cooked rolls special. Most entrees came with miso soup and a salad as well so its a lot of food for the money. The hardest thing about eating here though is that their menu is gigantic!! Its actually too large so its hard to make a decision on what to eat. Regardless of the hard decision though, my family will be back here soon. read more

This has always been my family's favorite sushi restaurant. We all usually order the same thing every time haha, except maybe 2 of the 6 of us will switch it up. My personal favorite is the Charlie Sheen, it sounds ridiculous, but it's SO GOOD. Inside is asparagus, shrimp tempura, kani (crab stick) - on top is peppercorn tuna, avocado, yellowtail, FRIED GARLIC!!! Yum. I also like their mixed sashimi tower too, good for sharing. My dad and brother would always order the Kobe burger - it comes with sweet potato fries with a side ketchup and Japanese mayo. The rest of us would order from the specialty rolls menu - there are SO many to choose from; more specialty rolls than any other sushi restaurant I've seen. We also used to really like the combination fried rice ($13.95), but now it doesn't have as much flavor. I paid 23$ for a god awful hibachi chicken and rice plate and waited for way to long to receive cold food. I was absolutely embarrassed and disappointed with the food.
