We enjoyed the steamed chicken dumplings. They take a few extra minutes but I think worth the wait. The salad that came with the hibachi beef was tasty but there was entirely too much dressing. See my picture of the extra dressing left over in the bowl. The bao buns were both good. The chicken katsu was crunchy and the chicken was tender. I didn't like the "crumbs"'on top but they were easy enough to scrap off. The beef bao wasn't as good. There was a huge chunk of fat on it. See my picture. That was a disappointment. The bun itself was fluffy and overall they were pretty good. A bit of attention to the beef would've given them a higher score. That amount of fat was unacceptable in my book. The server was nice and came by to check on us an appropriate number of times. The small restaurant was kept up well. A bit of stuff stored along the wall but it appeared clean. The restroom was tidy. There were a couple of mis-steps that could've been avoided with closer attention but overall it was ok. read more

When we entered the restaurant, there was only one other family who was already finished with their meal. Shortly after they left, my friend and I were the only table in the restaurant. When our served came to the table, he did not introduce himself and didn't seem too happy to be at work (which I understand, but you are providing a service to someone). I felt like a burden to him. Our server wasn't as attentive or interactive with us. He asked for our drink orders and shortly came back to take our food order. We ordered the Steamed Beef Dumplings, Thai Spicy Shrimp Ramen, and the Spicy Duck Miso Ramen. The food came out quickly. I'm talking maybe 5 minutes after placing the order. Ok, since the restaurant change from Whole Fried Chicken, I need to add another review. It's the same layout on the inside so still cute and Japanese ambiance. This review is on the taro une milk with boba and Rose Lychee with crystal boba. If you order online, you can choose ice and sugar amounts and your toppings. I did put 100% sugar on the taro and it did not taste sweet enough. With 50% sugar on the Rose Lychee- it was perfect! I'm super critical of Boba and I'm glad this stayed consistent with the restaurant change. Great soft just enough chew type of boba...and great selections of flavor. I couldn't eat it. My bf, who eats anything, did eat it at his own risk. Lol. I would get this again but maybe with only salmon. Sushi rice on bottom and furikake, salmon, tuna, 3 pcs of Shrimp tempura, fresh salmon roe and mixed green, crab-meat salad, seaweed salad, cherry tomato. Cucumber, avocado, sweet corn, onion, green onion with wasabi poke sauce. ......... Soft Shell Crab Poke bowl $14 - really good! Big softshell crab served in 2 pieces. Reasonably priced for soft shell crab. Large serving also, I couldn't finish it. Came with all the toppings (not listed in the description). Maui island jumbo whole softshell crab, sushi rice and spicy mayo. ....... I would return. It's the closest poke place that I know of to my house where I can just pick up to-go. We heard good things about this place and decided to try it out on a Saturday evening. There were only a few customers that were dining in before us when we arrived. I ordered spicy miso ramen and takoyaki. The dishes took a long time to come out and when I got my ramen, I noticed that they had forgotten to put eggs in it but received it once I asked for it. The customer service was great throughout our dining experience. They would always come by and check if we needed anything. The taste of the ramen was good and priced reasonably. Overall it's a good ramen spot for the area and will come back to try other items on the menu. read more

Oh my goodness, Yelp finally listed this place!!! We decided to stop in on a whim. Entering the restaurant, which is a bit small, you see lots of anime characters munching on bowls of ramen. That just made my day. The menus are beautiful. I wish I'd have taken a photo of one, but I did get a shot of the menu you can take home. Service was wonderful, such friendly, smiling faces. The appetizers arrives in a timely manner and there was time enough between the apps and the mains for you to try them and not feel rushed. That's not an east thing to perfect. The food. Oh my heavens the food!! We ordered an appetizer of steamed dumplings and harumaki. They were amazing! I had never tried steamed dumplings before and was blown away by the texture and flavor. I've had fried spring rolls before, but they were nothing like the harumaki. They had a wonderful crunch without being greasy. There was a slightly smoky flavor that enhanced the veggies perfectly! I ordered the 72 hour beef ramen and added some scallops to it. They brought me a huge bowl! The veggies were perfectly cooked and the broth was fantastic! The beef was so very tender and full of flavor. My friend tried the chicken katsu bao. He was so in love with it, he ordered a second one to take to work. I tried a bite and the flavors- the soft, pliant bread paired with the slight bite of the chicken and the crunch. It was heaven! Just to warn, this is not the type of place that you go to for a cheap meal. It's very authentic and very good. Great place for special occasions, though. Service wasn't very good at all. But more importantly I don't eat meat so I asked for veggie fried rice and they said they could not do that. they do offer chicken shrimp beef or combo. all that would have needed to be done is leave the meat out but i was told no so my dinner was edamame because they also don't have veggie hibachi as an offering. read more

We ordered the Tonkotsu ramen here. Broth was super flavorful! The takoyaki was also pretty good. The waiters were very attentive and polite to us as well as they kept coming by our table to make sure we didn't need anything else. What a cute little gem in Rosenberg. It's hard to find good Asian food out in this area so I'm happy this restaurant is able to bring that! I love the interior decor , very welcoming. Water taste like tap water without a filter. Food was served cold to my wife. Meat didnt taste cook recently maybe from days. Musty smell in store. Food was bland no salt. Noodle were hard to chew as well as duck. Ramen had a weird taste. Went home feeling sick or wanting to throw up. read more
