I read the reviews before I ordered coupled with the fact they are closer to my new location now however, I was disappointed. Someone mentioned amazing food and generous portions, but I have to disagree. The crab rangoon had NO crab in them, only cheese. The chicken egg rolls had a peculiar flavor like spices used in Pho. I got the lunch special which is a smaller portion but the container for my main entree was only half full. The fried rice was only white rice with some egg and soy sauce. (This unfortunately is with most Chinese places) Why don't they put some carrots, peas, eggs and some pepper? I had only ONE wonton in my soup. I have ordered the lunch special from other places and had at least two to three wontons. So needless to say, I will pay extra delivery fees to get take-out from the other place that I used before. read more

The food here is great. I usually stick to any of the fried rice and their fried chicken wings which are always a hit.

I went in and grabbed some wonton soup and spring rolls for my mom. The place is very clean and the smell of the wonderful food hits your nose when you first walk in. They have an extremely extensive menu and are happy to answer questions about anything on the menu. Staff was super friendly and they all were wearing a face mask. They also do a great job packing your food so that it doesn't spill or leak out in the bag. We will definitely be going back. read more

Man I'll be so honest with this review, Z&T isn't the best chinese food place out there for a long shot, but it definitely is a place that brings memories. Z&T has helped me through a lot of hard and good times with their comforting food, and although I'm not a regular there, I always have a good experience. The food is a little bit oily and the fried rice may be a little bland at times but the price, portions, and taste is overall great, making this restaurant a staple to the Falcon Landing community. Tried this place since it's close to my house. Really nice server behind the counter (Cindy)who was able to answer all my questions. Food is good quality, came out super fast (less than 10 minutes), and it was still super hot when I got it home to eat. They don't use any MSG in their food which I really appreciate. We decided to stop by for a casual dinner last weekend. I was craving Moo Shu pork and this place delivered! Probably some of the best Moo Shu I've ever had --- I ate most of it without the pancakes! My husband is on a diet, and was looking for something remotely healthy. He tried the Cashew Chicken with Brown rice. The dish was full of white meat chicken and cashews -- and to his delight, no broccoli-- but plenty of carrots and zucchini. I prefer fried potstickers but we decided try the steamed dumplings. I would not recommend the food. We thought it would be super to have a place nearby. But we are disappointed with the first bite!! We ordered egg drop soup, kung pow chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The food is very bland. The kung pow has no flavor and tastes the same as the bland rice. The rice has no flavor or vegetables. The sweet and sour chicken is all batter around tiny strips of chicken (super tiny!) with out vegetables. Our family likes vegetables so we were really disappointed. The food is flavorful, and there are plenty of options without the fried/breading overkill. For example, I had the Hunan chicken and everything was sautéed, including the chicken, no breading. When I'm sick, only one thing will do, and it's good Chinese food. We have been looking for a great Chinese restaurant in Katy for years and this place fit the bill. The wonton soup was excellent, the chicken fried rice was perfect and tasted the same reheated the following day, the egg roles, spring roles and fried donuts were excellent. As I was sick, my meal did consist only of side dishes and appetizers so I can't speak (yet) to the main dishes, but my husband enjoyed the General Tsos.
