    Lo mein

The food here is very fresh and the service was excellent. The fried dumplings are really good.

a plate of chicken and noodles

Ordered chicken lo mein with chicken and add veggie . Got just noodles. Good think I paid 7$ for 4 chicken pieces. 30$ and got noodles lmao. Tried to called and someone told me to call Grubhub because it wasn't their problem. Places like this makes it so hard for me to support local business.

Ordered the chicken and brocolli. It was so tasty. I ordered with brown rice.

I went in and grabbed some wonton soup and spring rolls for my mom. The place is very clean and the smell of the wonderful food hits your nose when you first walk in. They have an extremely extensive menu and are happy to answer questions about anything on the menu. Staff was super friendly and they all were wearing a face mask. They also do a great job packing your food so that it doesn't spill or leak out in the bag. We will definitely be going back.

Lunch special - Kung Pao chicken
    Prithi D.

Got a lunch special to go...Kung Pao chicken with hot and sour soup, egg roll and fried rice. Unfortunately, every dish was very bland. The egg roll did not have any flavor and neither did the hot and sour soup. I asked for extra peanuts with my entree and she said it was $1 extra which I was fine with but upon reaching home, saw that I did not get extra peanuts. Kung Pao is typically a spicy dish, with red chiles in it and this dish was sweet. Disappointed...

Lazy owners won't return their Walmart cart. This is a daily occurrence. No pride!!!
    Paul M.

Greasy food and no pride in what they do. For example they buy their produce from Walmart next door EVERYDAY and are TOO LAZY to return the shopping cart the walk with from Walmart to their restaurant. Poor employees have to hike over to the restaurant and return the cart on a daily basis. AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs

    Steamed dumplings and spring roll.

The food was good, very generic for Chinese food. Only real complaint is the prices were extreme for a dinner. Chicken Cashew $12.99 - good amount of vegetables & chicken, very few cashews and two mushroom slices. Steamed Dumplings $6.99 - Good taste, adequate sauce. Coke $2.49 - 20oz Bottle Total cost $23.93

    HUNAN CHICKEN WINGS

A must try.. the wings are huge and flavorful... may take up to 15 mins to make so call beforehand if you're taking it to go.

This is a convenient place to get a quick serving of Chinese food. The staff is attentive and the food comes up quickly. Cindy was vey helpful in assisting me as I was in my wheelchair. Be mindful that the pricing changes between lunch and dinner. I forgot about this on my third visit. I am sure I will return many times

Tried this place since it's close to my house. Really nice server behind the counter (Cindy)who was able to answer all my questions. Food is good quality, came out super fast (less than 10 minutes), and it was still super hot when I got it home to eat. They don't use any MSG in their food which I really appreciate. Will definitely go there again in the future when I want Chinese takeout.

    Small, clean, casual dining room.

We decided to stop by for a casual dinner last weekend. I was craving Moo Shu pork and this place delivered! Probably some of the best Moo Shu I've ever had --- I ate most of it without the pancakes! My husband is on a diet, and was looking for something remotely healthy. He tried the Cashew Chicken with Brown rice. The dish was full of white meat chicken and cashews -- and to his delight, no broccoli-- but plenty of carrots and zucchini. I prefer fried potstickers but we decided try the steamed dumplings. They were perfect. It's a very basic seating situation. Nothing fancy. My recommendation, would be to install self-serve soft drink fountain for dine-in customers.

    Combination lo mein :)

Is this the Same Chinese Cafe from Richmond at Sage and the same on on Bellaire that closed Down?

I can not answer with confidence. However, I know the lady server behind the counter. Her name is Cindy and she is very nice. It is on Falcon Landing nextdoor to Auto Zone Auto Parts.

It is anything but in point of fact, it is in my estimation, a unique culinary experience. I don't write from the perspective of comparing this food to other Malaysian dishes that I've had in point of fact to the best of my recollection I don't think that I've ever had Malaysian cuisine. But if this restaurant is an example, I have missed a great deal. The food is very unique the servings are very gracious charitable. The prices are incredibly reasonable given the distinction of this particular cuisine and given the portions and quality of food that is served. The service is quite simple and the restaurant is actually quite small. However, I must tell you from A service perspective. It's truthfully amazing because the takeout business is extremely active. Not to mention the fact that the chef walks out and speaks to people will share anything that you want to know about Malaysian food and obviously from the quality of the food that I ate not only is his explanation thorough but my guess is his skills are incredible. As I said it is very small so it's difficult to Alpine about the ambience other than it was quite clean and given the number of whom I suspect were Malaysian people it's obviously quite popular within that community. So I take that to be a sign that this food is quite native in nature. I had a pork meal, which is only on Sundays. I spoke to the chef about it, and he explained that the preparation started one day in advance of actually serving the meal, so I understand why it is only served once a week. Although I must tell you because I lack familiarity it seemed to me that I would be hours and hours trying to replicate any of the dishes. All I can tell you is this if you are in an exploratory mood for a cuisine and have had or have not had Malaysian before I suspect this is a place to go. Quite informal, extremely fair pricing very generous portions great service very pleasant people and frankly it's a a family affair of what you will see many when you go. Quite a lovely experience.

Service was spot on, quick, and we got our food in what felt like maybe a few minutes. We started off with pork dumplings for the kiddo, which he INHALED in moments. For entrees, we split the orange chicken and the Spicy/Numbing Pot. The orange chicken was spot on. The sauce was sweet but not painfully sweet or thick/clumpy. Really nice orange flavor and tender chicken. So much fun eating it since it is gluten free! Our kiddo also devoured this dish! Mild - not spicy at all! The Spicy Numbing Pot, while a little oily/greasy on the bottom, was still delicious! I appreciated that it wasn't knock your socks off spicy - it had a solid kick, and so flavorful. I love eating dishes with Sichuan Pepper; it has a lot of flavor, and the tingling is so much fun. This dish was perfect with some rice, and it wasn't too heavy for the middle of the day. The prices were really reasonable, and there was enough food for leftovers which we ate later that night. Our only regret is not getting the duck appetizer, but we will be sure to get it next time. We can't wait to go back, and Tiger Noodle will happily be in regular rotation for our family! You can't go wrong!

We genuinely savored and thoroughly enjoyed every single dish that hit the table. We had the black truffle fried rice, eggplant with green beans, roasted duck, peppered fried shrimp with crispy rice, wok-fried Chilean sea bass, and a few other dishes that I honestly can't remember because we ordered so much! But every single thing was absolutely incredible. The flavors were layered, balanced, and beautifully seasoned. Nothing tasted ordinary or forgettable. The roasted duck was fantastic, the shrimp with crispy rice was a standout, and that black truffle fried rice? WOW. The wok-fried Chilean sea bass was also cooked perfectly--tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. What I loved most was that each dish had its own personality. It wasn't just good Chinese food--it was the kind of meal where you slow down, take another bite, look at the person across the table, and say, "Okay...THIS is good." ‍ Three people, a table full of food, happy stomachs, and absolutely no regrets. 10/10. Without hesitation, I would come back and eat my way through the entire menu. If you love Chinese food, this place needs to be on your list!

We ordered couple dishes family style: Stir fried cabbage - 5/5, surprisingly my favorite dish of the meal. The cabbage was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of crunch, the subtle numbing pepper added a refreshing and addictive kick. Simple but perfect. Salt and pepper crispy seafood - 4.5/5, the runner up for me. The seafood was fresh, the batter was light and crispy, and the salt and pepper seasoning was spot on. Peking duck two way - 4/5, the duck is roasted well, however, the sauce was a little too sweet for my taste. Instead of the usual low effort duck soup, the duck came with salt and pepper duck carcass which was crispy and delicious. Egg tofu with dried scallop sauce - 2.5/5, this was pretty bland compared to other dishes and didn't stand out. The service was a bit slow, probably because we had a late lunch, close to staffs' midday break. That said, the staffs were friendly, and we really enjoyed the food.
