Very cheap all you can eat sushi spot. You get what you pay for, it was around $16 for lunch. The best thing here are probably the crab Rangoons. Out of the raw sushi, the salmon was the best. As you may guess, the rice portion is large compared to the fish. Volcano roll was good, most of the specialty rolls during lunch are crab meat. The yellowtail roll was good, the tuna did not taste as fresh. Can't go wrong with miso soup. The salad was good, dressing was slightly watery. With a 20 min wait, like all knowledgeable restaurant goers, you review the menu prior to be seated. BEWARE !! ONLY TAKE OUT Menu is available and all pricing is ONLY for TAKE OUT. We get seated in order three rolls and an order of edamame.. Edamame comes out, 2 of the 3 rolls 5 min later and the 3rd most expensive roll 10 min after first two. We're wondering why the portions are so small but hey every restaurant is different. Time to check out and I see $24.99 x2 for all you can eat sushi bar. Although the menu lists prices for individual items, surprise! It's ONLY all-you-can-eat. This critical detail is revealed exclusively via a handwritten sign at the front that looks like it was completed during a fourth-grade arts-and-crafts break. Now, no one has stated it's ONLY ALL YOU CAN EAT sushi. Even when we pointed to specific items on the take out menu to order, no clarification was offered while waiting. He stated "IT's a TAKE OUT menu the individual pricing doesn't apply ." Hmm OK. The poor waitress kept saying" I'm so sorry it's my second day I didn't know." So we paid $60 ( including the tip, wasn't the waitress' fault she works for a scumbag) for an order of edamame and amazing small sushi rolls. Had I known it was ONLY all you can eat , I would have loaded up and ate my money's worth. However, after reading reviews regarding very questionable business practices ( I.e... if you have a group of people, if ONE person gets the buffet EVERYONE is charged the buffet price. I am very happy with my experience at Sushi Heaven! Upon arrival, you can see how spacious the place is. Very quick and friendly service to get a table and get drinks. The plates come out extremely quick. The flavors on most of them are great. They have cooked entrées too, and they were just as good as sushi rolls or pieces. The salads are also great. The value is top notch, the location is great, and food and service are extraordinary. If I get picky, they should change their shrimp tempura in sushi rolls to a better one or a more recent tempura. This way, it doesn't take away from the amazing sushi roll. I cannot wait to be back many times! read more

Great sushi. I was taken back with the quality, presentation, and flavor of the sushi. The prices were great too. I brought my wife and three kids and we ate a ton, like a lot, of sushi and sides and they had no problem with it. Due to the nature of the family style endless food, we had 6 sides, 10 specialty rolls, two orders of hibachi meals, rice and more for 100$ flat. I can barely take my kids to local burger places for under $60. It was very clean inside, we were seated quickly, and the bathrooms were very clean. I will definitely be back, I hope they stay open and do great because it has become my top 3 sushi places ever. read more

While the food was not amazing- finding good sushi has to be a challenge in Amish country. Sushi Heaven has a great variety of choices and most of the rolls and signature rolls were decent. The service was very good though and the waitress was always 'on top' any needs we had and had an excellent attitude. The restaurant was quite spacious and not cramped at all. There was plenty of room and getting service was quite easy. The quality of the rolls was good but expected. The hibachi chicken was the best meal and much better than I expected. Pretty nice place to eat sushi and hibachi. They only do all you can eat so each portion is smaller than normal. A little disappointed that they seemed to be short staffed. One server for our whole side resulted in longer waits in between ordering. The sushi chefs did make a mistake on one of our orders as we had asked for Dragon roll but got something like a dynamite roll. At first we thought the server had entered the wrong item, but she had not. Wouldn't have been too big an issue but they make it a point to charge you extra if you don't finish an item. We were seated within minutes upon arriving. The server was tentative and the sushi rolls were good. They charge $9.99 plus drink for children and our picky eater ate slowly. Was a good portion for what was order. You order as you go and the food kept on coming fast. My wife and I were seated immediately, and the waiter was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere? Clean, but about as charming as a conference room at a budget motel. The place is AYCE (All You Can Eat), order-as-you-go style, which sounded promising. We started with gyoza, yellowtail jalapeño, and tempura shrimp. They were edible, but barely worth the effort of chewing. The sushi--tuna, salmon, eel, and yellowtail--was OK, but the fish was sliced so thin it was practically transparent. The spicy tuna roll was also just OK, but nothing I'd come back for. The real lesson here? Get out of the hotel earlier next time. We're in the heart of Amish Country, surrounded by epic smorgasbords overflowing with fresh-baked bread, hearty comfort food, and pies that could make a grown man weep. I struggle to believe this restaurant takes food safety precautions seriously. 2 people in my party were sick with the same symptoms a day after eating here. This is a very good deal for ~$25 pp for all you can eat dinner. I don't think sodas are included but dessert is although we didn't indulge in that since we were pretty full by the end. The salad portions are pretty tiny, ex the avocado salad (which consisted of very thinly sliced avocados covering matchstick sliced cucumbers with some eel sauce) probably amounts to half or even just a quarter of an avocado. I ended up ordering three servings just for myself due to the small portion size. My husband enjoyed the hibachi steak which included a nice serving of veggies. Their sushi menu is decent as well. I like how they have a red or green fish next to sushi choices to clearly indicate which is spicy or raw. I also liked how they had semi fancier rolls like the spider roll on the menu although the soft shell crab didn't taste newly fried. The restaurant has an open concept feel and seems very spacious. Our waitress was fairly attentive. There weren't very many people here when we came but it was also a random Thursday night. Ordering from the menu allowed me to decide the exact sushi and entrées I wanted because all the ingredients (important details) are on the menu for each special sushi roll and entrée. Didn't realize when we went in that it was an all you can eat sushi place. Price wasn't bad - not much different than what you would pay for a la carte items. We both started with a Kani salad which was good. My wife opted for cooked rolls while I went with some nigiri and a couple of rolls. All were good. The nigiri pieces were much smaller than most places serve which I prefer since they were truly bite sized. Service was quick and orders were delivered promptly. It wasn't very crowded at the time we were there. Dessert is included and once again it proved that Asia is an entire continent that has yet to produce an edible dessert. For central PA, this is the best ayce sushi option around. It is the same menu as the mechanicsburg location which I frequently go to. This location puts your sushi on a boat which is pretty nice for those of you who care about the presentation! Love their appetizers esp the pepper tuna, yellowtail jalepeno and the salmon bowl. They give you a lot of chicken with the chicken teriyaki. The steak teriyaki seemed a bit inconsistent: first time I ordered the steak was cooked perfectly and another time I went it was a bit over cooked for me, so you may have to tell them how you want yours done. The classic rolls can be switched to hand rolls if you ask. Special rolls are tasty. The ratio of rice to sushi is little which I prefer esp when ordering the nigiri. We've been a fan of this place since we've discovered it, until tonight. if I could leave 0 stars, I would. That's how bad tonight was. I spent around $500 in gift cards to everybody this past Christmas because of how much we liked it. We were there tonight and had the absolute worst service we've ever had before. In 40 minutes we never saw our waitress stop by our table. When I tried to flag her down to take our second order, she ignored us. Her station was not that busy at the time. I finally had had enough and said loudly enough that she could hear me from 25 feet away, "excuse me". That's all I said, and she came over and took our order. In the hour and 30 minutes we were there, We only got one refill of our water. When I went to pay and leave the little 17-year-old hostess yelled at me because "there is no yelling in this restaurant". Well, I've never had to raise my voice in a restaurant before, and I believe most restaurants, if they saw an unhappy customer would send their manager over. But none of that happened. The only thing happened was thus arrogant 17-year-old Yelling at me when we tried to leave. When I responded that that was the worst service we've ever had, her retort was "you only waited 5 minutes, we checked." Now I don't know who she checked with. Perhaps that is the lie that the waitress told her. But that is not at all what happened. We will not be back. I will not be purchasing any more gift cards for anybody next Christmas. read more

Great place to go if you are hungry or have a mixed group that wants more than just sushi. There is a huge variety for AYCE sushi, includes raw and cooked sushi, small up charge for sashimi, appetizers, desserts, soups and even hibachi. I've tried a lot of other AYCE sushi places and it's usually a lot of rice. There wasn't any more rice than at regular sushi restaurants. Place looks clean and the fish is very fresh. I've eaten there 2xs (only because it's over an hour drive one way from my house) and was very happy with the price, quality, service and atmosphere. Truly a must try!! read more
