    Party G 10 sashimi 8 sushi
    April C.

We ordered online and the food came so quickly, especially with the amount of food that we ordered. We got the Party G tray and it came with a free chicken teriyaki, a soda, and a huge container of miso soup. We had the spider roll, out of control roll, sunrise roll, and volcano roll. Everything was so fresh and the quality was superb. Definitely will be ordering from here again.

What a great spot! Affordable fresh sushi, inventive rolls, and portions were large! The dinner combo for rolls on their website gives you an option to add one for free! So 2 special rolls get one free and 3 regular rolls get 1 free. We tried many of their special rolls but particularly loved the Sunrise roll. The garlic crunch with the perfectly fresh tuna was so tasty. My son who doesn't like sushi enjoyed the fried udon noodles and the chicken tempura. Can't wait to order from here again!

What a wonderful new addition to our neighborhood! I received a menu pamphlet of Sushi Kitchen and was excited to try it as it's so close to me. The menu offered a variety of sushi - classic, hand and special, and hot food - hibachi, terriyaki - udon etc. I really liked the many options of mix and match platters. I ordered the steak hibachi and Party A platter (your choice of 3 special rolls and 3 classic rolls). I was excited to try the different offerings they have. The sushi was delicious and fresh. I felt the pricing was completely fair and especially for the fresh, tasteful sushi. There were about 2-3 tables so would definitely recommend more of a take out place so just a heads up if you wanted to dine in maybe call ahead. It's more of a casual ambiance. I met the owner Michelle and her brother at pick up. They were all very kind and excited to open. Definitely recommend Sushi kitchen. I will plan to order their lunch special sometime this week and definitely will order another party platter!

We have loved Ginza since the Massapequa days and try to visit every 6 months or so!…read more Today my husband and I visited for lunch and, as always, it was exceptional. The service is always very warm and attentive with the perfect balance of checking in without being overwhelming. My husband ordered the chirashi lunch and I ordered the Bento C but substituted shumai for the spicy tuna gyoza, we also split a 3 roll combo, and added a piece of ikura for my husband and shitake mushroom roll. The bento c is my absolute favorite. I always order it especially because the kani salad is the best. The thing about Ginza is that it is truly amazing quality and you really get what you pay for, especially at lunch. We have leftovers for tonight as we clearly overdid it but I'm certainly not complaining. Can't wait for our next visit!

Ordered chicken skewers to start followed by the sushi/sashimi dinner entrée. The skewers were delicious and perfectly cooked. The fish was extremely fresh and the pieces were generously portioned. Solid service....attentive and balanced. Thankfully, we beat the rush because the place was full by the time we got ready to leave. The parking lot is a little crazy, so just be careful of drivers and pedestrians not paying attention. But the food!!! So good. I would absolutely visit Ginza again.

We couldn't have been happier with our choice! The food was outstanding--everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared above and beyond what you would typically expect from a Chinese restaurant. Every dish was beautifully presented and expertly prepared. Our waiter, Chris, was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. To top it all off, the owner, Michael, came over to greet us personally, which made us feel genuinely welcome. If we're ever back in the area, Lotus will definitely be at the top of our list. Highly recommended!

This is not a business you want to patronize, as the last thing this world needs is more hatred. And by the way, since the owner does not know his history: As far back as the 19th century, a cookie very similar in appearance to the modern fortune cookie was made in Kyoto, Japan, and there is a Japanese temple tradition of random fortunes, called omikuij. The Japanese version of the cookie differs in several ways: they are a little bit larger; are made of darker dough; and their batter contains sesame and miso. They contain a fortune; however, the small slip of paper was wedged into the bend of the cookie rather than placed inside the hollow portion. Makoto Hagiwara in San Francisco is reported to have been the first person in the U.S. to have served the modern version of the cookie when he did so at his tea garden in the early 1900s. The fortune cookies were made by a San Francisco bakery, Benkyodo. David Jung, founder of the Hong Kong Noodle Company in Los Angeles made a competing claim that he invented the cookie in 1918. Seiichi Kito, the founder of Fugetsu-do of Little Tokyo in Los Angeles, also claims to have invented the cookie. Up to around WWII, fortune cookies were known as "fortune tea cakes"--likely reflecting their origins in Japanese tea cakes. Fortune cookies moved from being a confection dominated by Japanese-Americans to one dominated by Chinese-Americans sometime around World War II. One theory for why this occurred is because of the Japanese-American internment during World War II, which forcibly put over 100,000 Japanese-Americans in internment camps, including those who had produced fortune cookies. This gave an opportunity for Chinese manufacturers. The fortune cookie industry changed dramatically after the fortune cookie machine was invented by Edward Louie in the late 1960s.[ The machine allowed for mass production of fortune cookies which subsequently allowed the cookies to drop in price to become the novelty and courtesy dessert many Americans are familiar with after their meals at most Chinese restaurants today.
