We went in and were the first customers of the day. There are a handful of booths and tables. Very plain decor which works well because the food does all the talking. Our waitress, who we suspect is one of the owners, was very attentive even when more people can in. She even started us off with a piece of spicy tuna and salmon. The sauce was a little sweet. The fish was buttery and melted in you your mouth. My wife had the Chirashi and I had the sushi/sashimi combo. She asked for it without shrimp and crab. I was very surprised it wasn't the same fish at every other place we have been to. I asked to substitute the California roll with a peanut avocado. We were started with miso soup and salad. The dressing was the typical ginger dressing. It was good. The soup had a different kind of seaweed. It had more texture so you knew you were eating it. We both enjoyed it a lot. They substituted for her shrimp and crab with a bunch of different "white" fish. She loved her meal. Mine was fantastic. You call tell the quality of ingredients they put into. We also ordered The Magical Roll which has spicy tuna, avocado topped w. eggplant & sweet miso glaze. So delicious! Came here with a friend for lunch. We both started with a mango cocktail. It was tasty, not too sweet. I ordered a kani salad to start. It was flavorful, but had more cucumber than kani. For my sushi roll, I had the cherry blossom roll. It had salmon, avocado tempura, and it was topped with salmon, eel sauce and spicy Mayo. It was fresh and delicious. I've lived in the area for quite a few years but only found out about this place about a month ago through numerous word of mouth recommendations. In the last month, I've now visited 4 times. I try a different specialty sushi roll each time and I enjoy it more and more each time. Their soups are great (I tried the wonton, onion and beef noodle soups so far), edamame and seaweed salads are also really good. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. So far, my 2 favorite rolls are the Bethpage Roll and Levittown Roll. An added bonus : anytime you dine in, they give you a free appetizer (albeit a small one), but it gives you a chance to explore something different and take a small step out of your comfort zone without feeling you got screwed over when the bill arrives. The Broadway roll (my absolute favorite) GET THIS ROLL PLEASE!!! Your life depends on it :) and lastly we got the spicy king crab Naruto. Definitely the best Naruto I've had in terms of taste and structure. For dessert, vanilla and green tea mochi. Delicious even tho the outside was a little too thick for me.
