He was very prompt and friendly and helped us decide what to order and gave some solid reccomendations. I had the KFC in the sweet and spicy sauce with a side of the sushi rice. WOW! It was so good! My wife had the Pisa Hut sushi roll which looked amazing and she said it was the best sushi ever. We did share an order of the pork pan fried dumplings which were delicious. Everything we had was a 10/10 and the service was a 10/10 (ask for Max!) The atmosphere and decor is so nice and its just a really cool spot in downton Apex. Not to mention, Sushi Suyu has a perfect 100 State Board of Health score. We cant wait to go back

Came here recently for dinner and enjoyed my meal…read more First, you can park in one of the big public parking lots and walk over here, so that's convenient. My wife and I booked a reservation for 5:30 PM, and the booking system was a little strange. First, you have to wait for the restaurant to confirm your reservation, so you're basically just submitting a request. Also, there's an "Assignments" selection in the reservation form which has a possible value of 1, 2, or 3. No idea what it means so I left it blank. Then, the next day, we received a curt text telling us that our reservation was confirmed and that they would only hold our table for 5 minutes. I mean, geez, I get it, but how hard is it to say "Thank you for dining with us!" or something to that effect? Not a huge deal, obviously, but kind of funny :) Our server did a pretty good job throughout the meal. The food was prepared quickly and it was very good! My two sushi rolls were very tasty, and my wife's sashimi was definitely fresh. Because we ate there in the late afternoon, there were also some happy hour specials that I appreciated ($13 for any specialty roll, and $6 for certain beers). The beer selection wasn't bad at all, and of course they had sake as well. Overall, we had a really good time at Sushi Suyu and would definitely come back!

This week my teen reminded me that a new Ramen place has opened in the same facility so I decided to give it a try. The ambience is cozy, though I found that tables are very close to each other, so it is very hard to keep a conversation going without you either disturbing the other table or worrying about having someone else listen to your conversation menu is fine. I did not care for sushi because I was there for Ramen. Besides, they have a vegetarian Ramen is what I was looking for, my daughter ordered a teriyaki Ramen. My vegetarian Ramen had a lot of tempura in it, which defeated the purpose a little bit for me because it was a little oily. The taste was more or less like a red curry and there was very less vegetables mostly it was sweet corn and one or two bok choy on the other hand my teen, who is very hard to please loved the teriyaki Raman and is already planning to go back this weekend to try the other ones , all in all I gave this place a four star because the umami of the Ramen was very comforting, even though I did not like the taste much

So spirits were high right from the start. For the record, I've been here a handful of times before, usually for lunch, but this was my first dinner visit. Parking was easy and plentiful, and even though the restaurant was fairly busy, we were seated right away. Always a nice win. We kicked things off with a bowl of edamame that was perfectly salted. The boys went with miso soup, which was flavorful but came out lava hot. Like, ice-cube-required hot. Tasty, but proceed with caution if you have kids. For sushi, we kept it simple and solid with a mix of one classic and two specialty rolls: Spicy Tuna, Phoenix, and the Crunchy Roll. All were fresh, well-made, and hit the spot. Food came out quickly, service was friendly and attentive, and the overall value felt right. Since we live nearby, this will definitely stay in our regular rotation. A great, easy dinner spot for sushi with family.

We also had the black cod which was nice and buttery. Didn't realize it came with two handheld pieces and one played piece. Nice surprise! Had the seaweed salad which was good, very forward tasting. we had the truffle tuna roll and rainbow roll. both were fabulous. truffle tuna was tangy and clear cut. rainbow roll was so good we got it twice! simple but crispy and smooth. We came on a friday night, only waited about 20 minutes to be seated inside. our waiter was so nice and didn't mind us ordering a few things at a time. Would totally come back!

Later I saw the actual restaurant is a bit small with a few tables and sushi bar so I'm thinking they have out grown their space and after eating the food I can understand how that happened. As mentioned it has a small footprint but we didn't wait long. Our server was very kind and provided excellent service. We started with the gyoza which were out of this world! They had the perfect char on the dumpling without making it too seared. The Sashimi plate was incredible, each piece of fish melted in your mouth. If I have to give one critique I'd say our yellow tail was still a little frozen but that didn't stop me from devouring it. Crispy Salmon Roll was light and refreshing and their Rainbow Roll was like no other I've had. My husband and I have two reference points when it comes to sushi; mine is Japan where I was introduced to it as a young Marine, his is Hawaii where had the most amazing sushi about 5 years ago. Not many places can compare to those experiences but Sushi Mon was VERY close!

We set up a reservation as it is can be difficult to just drop in unless you are prepared to wait. The atmosphere is great, with excellent ambiance, and all the staff that we met were very upbeat and kind. To start we had the Tom Kha soup and a sushi roll, spicy tuna. The Tom Kha was very disappointing. It just had a very very watered down taste with hardly any coconut flavor. It was missing the traditional Thai flavor and had zero sour flavor to it that is usually brought in by the lime juice at the end. Perhaps they forgot to make it properly. The spicy tuna roll was just ok. It had heavy rice with a small amount of tuna. Freshness was good. My wife ordered the Pad Thai which must be the most popular dish as everyone was ordering it. Her feedback was that it was average and a bit dry. I ordered the Pad Kra Pao which was very good. The flavor was excellent and I used the remaining sauce to put over some steamed white rice. My only feedback was the spice level. I specifically asked my server if the spice was traditional Thai level or was he grading the spice on a more moderate scale. He assured me, the levels were Thai and that the food was very spicy. I went medium spice and it was very light and tame. I would go more spicy in the future. Overall the experience was a nice outing and we enjoyed the location. The food however was very mid range. Having traveled throughout Thailand, I was really hoping to have a more authentic experience but this feels like a sort of fusion. We have now tried 4 or 5 Thai spots around the greater Triangle area and Osha has been at the bottom food wise. With such amazing other feedback, I have to wonder if we just experienced an off-night for the amazing Thai food
