We got our menus almost immediately after being seated, but it took maybe 20 minutes to place our food orders. I got the Philadelphia roll and sashimi with tuna and salmon. The Philadelphia roll was actually very big and filling. Quite good. The sashimi was also good - it was just the fish and not the rice (nigiri), which I wish they noted on the menu. One of the employees kids were running around in the restaurant, but it was a Saturday night and I imagine they needed to watch the kids, so I was not upset. Once we were done waiting, we checked out at the front. They had bowl of Halloween candy, as the holiday had just passed, which was nice. Altogether, Hana Sushi & Teppanyaki is a casual restaurant that is nice to get some good sushi at.

Even though the pieces of fish were smaller than I'm accustomed to, the quality was high. I'm also used to having cooked meals and sushi meals delivered at separate times, but both plates got to our tables at around the same time. I finally got my 2 bowls at 605pm, that's a 50 minute wait time from the time of submitting the order online. Perhaps it's me wanting everything fast pace, but I don't think 50 minutes is acceptable for take out. Normally, take out takes about 15 to 20 minutes for cooked items! This was a pokebowl where all the ingredients were cold (except the rice). Would I return? Perhaps one day, but if I do, I will know to order 50 minutes in advance.

To my surprise, it was even worse than the last time I ordered from here. I ordered the Sogo spice roll. This is supposed to be comprised of spicy king crab in the middle, but it was clearly artificial crab not even prepared spicy style. The avocado in the roll was 90% brown. The other role I ordered was the unbelievable roll, the eel in the middle was very fishy, and if you eat sushi, you know what I mean by an abnormal type of fishy taste, and it was topped with spicy tuna that surprisingly had very little flavor. I attached the pictures of the Sogo spice roll. I used to love this place; what a shame that it has become so disappointing and foremost, inedible.
