Ive been wanting to try this place for awhile now and Im glad I finally got the chance to. Their sushi and sashimi were so fresh. They were presented so nicely with the perfect protein to rice ratio. I quite liked the pickled garlic they gave as a garnish. The glass noodles were cooked well, it wasn't as salty and as greasy as the ones I've tried from other places before. The rolls were packed nicely so it was easy to pick up without worrying about them falling apart. The tempuras had a nice crunch to them and the sauce had a delicate sweetness to balance the savouriness of it. We also got tempura udon. The udon was light and well-balanced. The noodles were chewy which were perfect. Overall, I'm glad to have tried this place. The servers were very welcoming and the place was neat and tidy. Go here a lot and the sushi is always top tier. Food comes in a timely manner and the servers are friendly. For Christmas they decorated the place which was quite nice and cute. I highly recommend their salmon paradise, salmon aburi, and takoyaki. It was nice that there were pieces of gold on some of the sashimi pieces as well. We both are AYCE eaters so this was different for us. It was a good choice because the sushi was yummy and fresh. Each piece was a good size and by the end of it, we were content and full. The table we sat at was a bit too small compared to the large plates used for the sushi. Lately, my order for a Japanese restaurant has been a Tuna Maki and Tempura Udon. Now it does meet my expectations with the Tuna being prepared well - Very nice flavour texture - however for the price I pay ($11.50), I would expect it would be a bit bigger. Tempura Udon - good broth and nothing crazy and simple flavour. Overall, I would visit this place again for their lunch specials, but also they're a la carte sushi and platters. My vegan friend recommended we come to try it here because they had a whole vegan menu for them that was separate so that they can enjoy the food too. Probably some of, if not the best, sushi I have had in the GTA. The atmosphere is amazing, feeling really cozy and ambient when the sun goes down. Their new menu is outstanding - I highly recommend the Salmon Aburi (smoky and creamy torched Salmon with some nice spice). The service was great, every staff member came around to our table at some point to ensure we were doing well. Such kind people with the biggest smiles. Came here on a Wednesday evening for dinner and had an amazing time! We got there pretty early, before 6pm so we were one of the only ones there and our server was super great! She checked up on us often and made sure everything was good at our table. Their menu is extensive and expands way beyond just sushi. We ended up getting P21. Sushi & Sashimi Love A (42 pieces - 12 sashimi, 12 nigiri, a green dragon roll and a dynamite roll) which was 55.95. It was way more than enough food for two people and the assorted nigiri and sashimi were great for trying out a bunch of different items. Definitely a bigger fan of some nigiri and sashimi than others, but they all tasted super fresh and were beautifully plated. The rolls were filling without too much rice. While the inside of the restaurant is a bit small, the decor was beautiful and there was still enough space for us to have our own private dining experience. We felt like sushi for lunch and Sushi Omigato was on our way home. We have dined in at this restaurant a few times, plus like always, we are trying to help local small businesses when we can. We arrived around 12:30 PM on a Monday and there were people ordering and picking up their takeout orders. We did have the option of calling in or placing an order on-line ahead of time, but we were passing by and dropped in. After ordering we waited for about 15-minute wait while they prepared our order (which is pretty good). For our takeout lunches we ordered: -2 two orders of the Sushi, Sashimi & Tempura Bento priced at $14.95 each. For one of those two orders, we choose the "Make it a Lunch Sushi Combo" option to add 3 pieces of California roll and 3 pieces of sushi for just $4.00 extra. -1 order of the Bulgogi Lunch at $11.95 and choose the "Make it a Lunch Sushi Combo" option to add 3 pieces of California roll and 3 pieces of sushi for just $4.00 extra. -1 order of the Takoyaki (deep fried octopus balls) The takeout order was very well packed and bundled. The hot foods were in one bag and the cold foods were in another. They also provided us with chopsticks, napkins, and eight packages of soy sauce. Also include in our order was pickled ginger and a lot (I mean a lot) of wasabi. I'm not sure who can eat that much wasabi, but it's better than too little. The quality of the food was excellent and was just as good as what we had when we dined in a while ago. I actually ended up ordering from them a lot after my last review. Mostly through Uber eats due to discounts. My usual order is salmon paradise, eel sushi, seaweed salad, miso soup and Takoyaki. We always come for the volcano roll and would definitely recommend. The roll is filled with spicy mixed fish and topped with tempura bits and more fish, so it's quite filling. The omigato combo included dynamite roll and a spicy mixed fish roll, and both were made well. Overall, nice place for a date. read more

Never again! Had the "hwae dap bap". Limp vegetables, not at their height of freshness, I could have cut the fish better and the pieces of mackerel sashimi a la carte was of borderline freshness. The agedashi tofu was the only acceptable part of the meal. THEY PRE-TORCH THEIR TUNA - I saw it in the fridge. The gochujang sauce was the type you'd put in a dolsot bibimambap. This place is located inside China town of Sauga/Etobicoke. When you enter through the main archway it's at the right side in the very back end. When I came here to pickup my takeout order on a Saturday, it was packed. Lineups were out the door to dine-in. Covid-19 indoor dining restrictions were already lifted so many people were dining in. We went inside on the left area to pick up and pay for our food. We The food itself was mediocre. The salmon wasn't as great as I'd hope. It didn't taste fresh nor did it taste great. The rice was too hard and not as soft as it would be like the regular sushi rice. The tempura was good though, I do like how they put a broccoli one and the sweet potato & squash weren't so thick. Another great a-la-carte sushi place in Mississauga! One of the freshest sashimi I've had in a long time. Especially their scallop sashimi, for $8.95, you get three pieces but their pieces are pretty thick so it's actually like 6 pieces. They were fresh and delicious, highly recommend! All their sushi rolls are delicious, but if you love salmon like me then their salmon love roll is the best roll on the whole menu in my opinion! I had been looking forward to trying this restaurant and brought my husband there for his birthday. I was super impressed they had a vegan and gluten free menu (separate). I looked at all the amazing dishes on the vegan menu and asked our waiter which ones could also be gluten free. He was unsure and went to ask another server. He said "oh only the avocado and pickled radish roll". I was shocked because I saw many dishes like the mushroom and veggie stone bowl and salads. I asked him about the mushroom stone bowl and he left again to ask another server. He came back saying "oh we are sold out". Then I asked him about the veggie stone bowl and he left again to check. He came back and said "oh its fine its just going to be plain rice and veggies" very unenthusiastically. I asked if the chefs could make any un-battered sweet potato in the rolls or any other vegetable. He just flat out said NO. Made no accommodation for a restaurant that prides itself in having a vegan and gluten free menu. So disappointing the lack of genuine care. I came here on a Wednesday lunch after getting a haircut in the same plaza. There were a few tables, but not very busy. The server was polite and offered me and menu right after I was seated and asked for my drink preference. The green tea is hot and flavourful, though it didn't have the rice in the tea that I usually relate with Japanese tea. I was surprised by the selection of their lunch menu (runs till 3:30). There are various bento box combinations (sushi, sashimi, tempura, teriyaki, etc) and all sounded delicious! I ordered the sushi/rolls/bulgogi bento box. The sashimi were fresh, though the fish was quite thin. The rice kept of falling apart from the sushi so that was frustrating. The California roll was ok, not a lot of rice, I preferred the spicy salmon roll. For $13.99, I got 5 pieces of sushi, 4 pieces of California roll, 4 pieces of spicy salmon roll, large portion of bulgogi (stir fried thin Korean beef), miso soup (great flavour, wasn't too salty), salad and a bit of cold glass noodle that I didn't really care for. This is a nice restaurant, cool decor, clean bathrooms (it actually smelled nice in there!) and excellent service. I will definitely come back to try other items on their menu. read more

First time trying this place. My friend and I picked here after looking at Yelp reviews and saw how high the reviews were and decided to give it a try. I got the bulgogi beef hot plate and my friend got the tempura udon noodles. The sushi itself was quite tasty. The broth was good and noodles were delicious. However the tempura sweet potato was raw and she could not eat it. I did not enjoy the bulgogi beef either as the beef felt over cooked and tough. Came here again after my first time last year. I must say, this place has deteriorated a little in quality and value from what I remember! I ordered the sashimi bento ($11.95), which came with nine (9) sashimi pieces and four (4) California rolls. Honestly, I felt a tad cheated... the "bento" separated the sashimi into two different compartments, making the portion seem larger than it actually is. The other bento parts were some sort of half-takoyaki (evidently formed in the baby cake-pop makers), a green salad, and then the California roll. The sashimi itself was thinner than expected, falling short of the 1" standard. The assortment included two salmon, two tai/snapper, two butterfish, one tuna, and then one that I have forgot. I enjoyed the pickled onions draped across the sashimi, but found the sashimi weak and unsubstantial. The takoyaki was okay, but a little doughy. I think the best part of the bento was the California rolls. They were filled with crab salad, julienned cucumbers, and avocado bits, and had the perfect ratio to rice (I like the layer of rice to be nice and thin). The crab salad made the roll fairly moist, and quite fulfilling! Given the low quality and low value, I'm not sure whether I'd return to try again. Perhaps for their fancy rolls... (they have one with 24k gold sheets that's a whopping $39!). read more

We finally found a great Japanese place that also has some Korean dishes. It's tucked away at the back of Mississauga's Chinese centre plaza that lacks parking spaces on the weekends. From the outside it can be deceiving. Inside, it certainly is a different atmosphere. It's welcoming and modern. Kinda dark to my taste for a lunch. The booth area has a low wall so you can see your neighbors. I ordered a spicy chicken hot bowl with rice. It was spicy but I found that they gave me a small portion of chicken for the price of $14 since half of it was filled with rice. The veggies were not over cooked. Overall it had a nice taste to it. My partner had a combo dish of rolls and raw fish. He liked it. No complaints from him. We saw our neighbors' dishes and the presentation was appealing and we were curious about them. The menu is a la carte (don't expect for a cheap meal) and had some good selection of unique vegetarian options. Both the vegan 'tuna' and vegan 'crab' were really good!
